Doren are my ults too & I've been seeing a lot people having the same bias pattern lol. A lot people who ult or bias Doyoung also tend to ult or bias Renjun and I think that's so funny and cool lol. Also idk if it's just me, but when i started to ult both of them, I was surprised that they had such an awkward relationship with each other, they are so like. The way they are always ready to throw hands, have the voices of angels, are very honest and say things from the heart, are such hardworkers, make new people feel welcomed and included (Renjun taking care of Hrvy during DNYL because he couldn't speak Korean, Doyoung bringing some of the foreign members home with him during holidays because they couldn't go back to their home and didn't want them to spend that time alone), treat fans as friends and show them the mini corners of their lives - a cloud in the sky, rain on a window, etc. but never let us in too close out of respect for themselves, they value privacy and being able to keep things to themselves and I really admire both of them for that. They share so many things that I was surprised that they were so distant. When Awsaz came out I was so happy, it really didn't feel real. Now looking at them - always talking about each other, poking fun at each other and being close enough to tease and laugh with without feeling awkward, I can really feel how far they've come. Renjun isn't close with a lot of the older members besides WayV, I'm really glad that he has Doyoung to rely on. Also though he might not show it, I can tell how much this friendship means to Doyoung, you could see it in Aswsaz when he was so careful not to hurt Renjun again. Doyoung is such a selfless person that just gives so much of himself. But while it spreads him thin, it also fills him up. Doyoung likes building meaningful relationships and making the people around him feel comfortable. I know that he was glad to get close to Renjun and I love both of them for it :) Sorry this got long, I just can't help myself when it's them. I swear I could talk about them for hours lol. I love them so much and I'm so proud of their growth and ambition and just the people they are today. My Awkward Boys
I know right?? I have seen SO MANY people who ult the both of them (like me, Renjun is my ult and Doyoung is my other bae), they really extrude the same energy and they are similar in so many ways. They even have similar features, so 2020 has really been a blessing for us haha XD
visual wise, they're really quite similar. personality wise, theres some similarities but also opposites hahaha like i read somewhere how renjun is like a mixture of doyoung and haechan and i feel like thats kinda accurate. but im really loving this pairing, both my biases in each unit so i was excited how their friendship would turn out. i really love that even w each other, they're very much themselves??? idk how to describe it but these two members are the members who are very candid and very real and i love how they always stay that way
The difference between Renjunee and Doyoung are one is too Savage and a 'fighter' but innocent who brings lights to the world , and other one is innocent and pure that everyone tease but can get scary (My English is not good)
when i also say i ult both renjun and doyoung and i SCREAMED when i saw the AWSAZ episode. this must be how it feels when other groups interact with each other, but in this case, it's within the same group
They've come such a long way 😭😭😭 I have always wanted them to get close way before awsaz or even the vlive since they have so many similarities and felt that they would go along soooo well with each other. And looks at them now! They have such a great dynamic and chemistry as friends. With more time, they'll be inseparable I tell you 😊
One of my all time favorite friendships in nct. Maybe that's why I also really love haechan's relationship with them both as well, because they're so similar hahaha.
The minute they were interacting and being together in awsaz, I knew they were match made in heaven. You can't convince these two are not the same person but split into 2 bodies. These two are freaking homies, like bros in one.
It's so interesting seeing them become close throughout the years haha the character development. Hope Haechan and Yangyang can be the next iconic Awsaz duo XD
Even if everyone keeps saying they’re similar I still don’t see it😭 To me, no one can ever mimic Renjun; he’s a thumbprint in this fine world. Renjun is extra savage and ready to throw hands but also so “pure” 🙄 if you know what I mean.
Awsaz is a superior show. It gave us twin pair doren, coffee lover comedians, bby Jisung x2 + emotionally tortured WW, quiet ppl being forced to vibe actively, a chaotic prince + sun and Chenwoo have been interacting a lot lately ✨
Both of them are my bias and I'm so happybwere getting more doren moments because of nct2020. I really hope to continue seeing more content with them together in the future.
