Great work ! All that farmer needs to do now is one light pass with a field cultivator to smooth it and its ready to plant . Dad strength can really do a hell of a finish grade with a dozer . That case dozer is nice but it definitely needs wider tracks and a winch . Great video keep up the good work!
Yes it would definitely help some and I may have been trying to hog a little more than I should have been per pass technically you shouldn't let a dozer spin
Well the 1150 went back we were done with it unfortunately I have no video from the cab I couldn't find a good spot to clamp my holder for my phone in it.....I really don't know if I have more than 5,000 hours in a dozer it's just not something I run very often I stay more in the excavators and dragline when it's needed I can grade enough with a dozer to get by but I usually just hog with em
Well, you're spot on about that dozer being a beast at moving dirt. Question, are you and your Dad going attend one of Chris Letsdig18 and Mike Dirt Perfect's meet and greet get together. You'd certainly be welcome and fit in.
As to your surprise tractor for plow day iv been thinking maybe the farmall M out back or an Allis wd45 for the combine the 51 A or maybe the jd 730/750 diesel
It all depends on the soil type it's in ours are in a vien of pea gravel and they are 800-900 GPM I'm not sure if that is a low pressure or high it all depends on the nozzle size our pivots at home we carry 80PSI in them because we haven't hooked our booster pumps up for our end guns
@@dirtgrainsteel Lagrange County we run 70 to 80 ft well depth. We have 1 well from 1977 that will push 1100 gpm at 80 psi. 10 years ago renozzled systems for 40 psi installed boosters on end guns, and readjusted the pump bowels. Really enjoy your videos, keep them coming.
Definitely does more than cut down the pollution Diesels produce. It also helps your engine run cleaner and keep your injectors stay uncloged longer as well as the valves. It also decreases fuel usage giving you better milage. The plastic jugs and cardboard are both recyclable. Plastic is processed into micro pellets used to make more products. I've done online research into the science and merits of Def. Instead of allowing anti-def propaganda brainwash me against it. There's several videos on RU-vid that explains all of my points above. Other than that ya did a pretty good job on that field. I'm sure the owner was one happy customer.
As a person that worked for case and developed new equipment I can tell you 100% that the def has zero to do with valvetrain or horsepower or fuel economy. Def is injected into the exhaust after the motor to catch suit leaving the engine. The reason Def engines make more horsepower than regen engines is because it takes 30% of a regen motor just to keep it running. Def is a joke used to be able to idle machines in our shop now the Def gasses you our within minutes so is it really better for our environment
Long story short after he had a kid we swear he got stronger one day in the shop he broke my 3/4 drive snap on ratchet and my Dad said he got that Dad Strength now and the nick name was born for him
