Great small dozer, had one for 15 years and 7000 hours on the clock. Wouldn't trade it for anything else on the market today. The older Case dozers would out manuver and push a load through a turn where none of the rest will. Don't have to have a CAT mechanic on site with his computer to diagnose what's wrong with it every time you use it either.
Thanks for the reply!! Yeah, It really fits the niche for what I use it for. As you can see in some of my other videos, I nick named it "spider man" because I can put it on some steep grades and it'll hang right in there.
Hey buddy, came over from BRANDON @ "ELITE EARTHWORKS" and watching this video makes me happy to see someone with respect for equipment like you on the '850'. Will last you a long time with the care you take. (Brandon seems to do the same thing!) Anyway, LIKED & SUBSCRIBED and have to watch more. Thank you (Brandon too!) Sonny
Thanks sonny! Brandon’s a nice guy and I think we share a lot in common on the way we take care of our machines! I use the heck out of them, it I don’t abuse them! Take care of them and they’ll take care of you!! Thanks for the sub!
Nice dozer. Case has its place. I wonder if aftermarket makes a segmented sprocket design for easy replacement? Do you mostly use your handles or do you steer with your feet like a Cat operator?
As far as I know there isn’t anything offered as segmented. Plus, it would be very expensive to convert it. About 50/50 on the controls. Depends on the environment I’m in. Sometimes it’s easier to used the foot controls when I’m working a slope. Sometimes I use them both. Thanks!
