Saint is a knockout actress. How many women can say that they appeared in two of the most iconic films of the 1950s: On The Waterfront, Brando's best work and Kazan's best directorial effort, and Saint's Oscar; and North By Northwest, the ultimate Hitchcock film, with Cary Grant at the height of his powers.
How intelligent and articulate this lady is, and still around now, in 2021. She does not appear to have been under the knife, as so many others have. She is still lovely, and I found this after trolling through Marlon Brando clips. Long may she continue. Best wishes from the U.K.🇬🇧🙋
She had a nip and tuck afew years ago. The kind that pulls úre face tight. But nothing radical or nothing lately. It is one of the hardest things to do is have you're beauty fade when you are ageing in hollywood. Nobody likes to look old and tired. If you say u don't mind, u're lying.
how intersting listen to this LADY of theatre and films. she IS beautiful, despite what she says, and certainly one of the best actress in the field.being humble is a great virtue, only the GREAT ones seems to have. it,s a joy to have her arround. carlos
I love her! A great, if somewhat underrated actress. I've seen all her big movies as well as her small indie movies. Always perfectly in character, and a very sensible down-to-earth person.
She managed her career quite well. She carefully chose her roles and kept herself from being over-exposed. One can look to her solid early life, good and supportive parents, as a foundation for her career and her successful marriage
Just saw Eva in Winter's Tale and was impressed. Yeah, a small part, a cameo, but still it was one of the best in the film where she has a frisson moment after recognizing Colin Farrell's character whom she hadnt' seen in almost a hundred years still looking young. I'm also impressed she wasn't so vain as to have a facelift and destroy her features and natural look. I think she looks as good as anyone can at that age. This interview shows she's still mentally sharp at 90 -- we should be so lucky. I'm not sure I share her preference for black and white films, but I've read somewhere On the Waterfront was the best black and white film ever made. Agree with that and although I'm not the greatest fan of Brando personally -- Wow! That had to be one of the best performances ever on screen and even aside from his I coulda been a contender speech. Of course, Eva Marie was great too! Always loved her and wished she'd made more movies.
Not sure how you can be the queen and glamour girl of all those things and not know you possess something. I think she was a beauty but maybe she did not. But they do say girls know when they are pretty.
ellamae She was beautiful in On the Waterfront. I liked her beauty in that. Hitchcock glamourized her up but I liked her they way she was in On The Waterfront.
