Fascinating interview. Colin Farrell is one of the few rare cases out there of a guy who's got the looks but can act his balls off too.

CharlieWafles naw. I disagree think it's the opposite. Looks of a leading man but not the skills. But the lobster is good.

Which films have you seen starring Colin Farrell?
@nb7216

Danpie a lot. But like he was saying in the interview maybe it was just the poor choice of movies he had

Watch: In Bruges, and tell me he doesn't have the "skills" you feel, he lacks. :)

He got balls to admit to his past, got brains to know where he should be going and the biggest heart to know what true passion is. Wish him a bright future ahead in acting and in life.

One of the most genuinely interesting people around (who happens to be an actor). And I have always loved his wit, and eloquence. What a more interesting, deeper world, if everyone could express themselves as accurately and eloquently as he does.

such a smart man he is... thanx for this interview! it was not only a "great" experience of 'being blond' for Colin, it also turned into the great movie in result - f*ck all those bad reviews - still one of my favs. and I'm still very grateful to him for 'Alexander' and always will

for even to a highly educated person he is so well-spoken and articulate. He also seems so respectful and someone who has learnt about himself over the years and applied what he learnt. I really do like him even more now...I know it won't make him a better man, father etc:-) and he is right, it shouldn't just like anything negative shouldn't affect him too much either.

I saw Alexander when it was released in theaters. It wasn’t as bad as people mad it out to be. If the crew had left out Anthony Hopskin scenes and his character, the movie would’ve been perfect.

Very intelligent man Colin is. I love the way he speaks honestly, authenticly and so introspectively about his life, fame and all that. Public always perceived him as bad handsome boy (some added to that talent) and that was it. But he is much much more than just a pretty face, actually combined with such personal qualities, he is the ,full package' every woman would wish for having.

Started liking him since watching Phonebooth. I thought he was phenomenal. He carried the film by himself. I remember how popular he was around that time, and what I liked about him is he didn't capitalize on his looks ,thought It s inevitable, I mea. The guy is gorgeous and charismatic. But he is a talented actor. He seems to choose character-driven roles. He is an artist and so happy he got sober, and he is an even better actor now. His interviews also got better. He is more self-assured, confident, and smart, says alcohol and cigarettes in his hands. Lol. I thunk he s an epitome of cool then, and he is cool still in a different way. I hope he gets the recognition that he so deserves.

18:36 STOP! Colin here is trying to keep Yorgos shrouded from being understood. He is being coy and doing Yorgos a favor. Harmony Korine does the same vague, evasive thing. "No, i don't really know where they come from..." Is what these Avant-Gardist often say. So i don't really buy Colin's hesitation to reply clearly. It's a Machiavellian maneuver to keep yourself ambiguous and mysterious. These directors want to basically remain "pure" in their affect of influence. "I honestly do not know where they come from. It's like an energy." Come on man. Stop it. Lol.
