Ben's a great director and actor imo. His version of Batman was THE best Batman to date and i was greatlly disappointed when i heard he won't be playing Batman again.. The Town blew me away, same with 'The Accountant' . I hope he continues to direct and that he gives Batman a second thought.
As an up-and-coming screenwriter, I find what Ben Affleck has to offer in terms of useful information is plentiful in this piece. I shared it on The Film Scene on Facebook and know many people will find his input beneficial. Grateful for use of this material. Thank you for posting it.
Clearly, Ben Affleck's an intelligent and mature guy. Unlike earlier in his career, he doesn't feel the need to do huge blockbuster movies, for money and notoriety. At 41 years-old, I don't think that he would put on a giant Batsuit, if he didn't believe in the material, and didn't think it could be pretty damn cool! There's nobody else that I'd rather see play my favorite fictional character, over Ben Affleck.
When he mentioned The Player... it was love. I quote that line all the time with my mom. It's our favorite movie. Ugh Ben, now I love you? How does this work?
i really liked this movie maybe I'm just being bias, because i think Ben Affleck is great at what he does but the plan to hit the baseball stadium after a big game was something different
Love this guy - BA get better and make a town part 2! Or any other gem for that matter. I remember living in little Italy when they were filming town and sometimes it was hard to get to home because of the filming and production but i didnt care, i was counting the days until town came out and when it did i was blown away.
Every summer, John Candy would take me and my family to breezy point and Pirates Cove in Minnesota John Candy, the actor from Canada and it was his excuse of taking everybody on a family vacation at his expense. When John Candy was alive he was a lot more generous than you.Knew
Probably a stupid question, but how do you guys get these interviews? MCN doesn't seem like a huge publication, yet you get to sit and talk to these big name actors, directors, etc.
Every Fourth of July for eight years, I was able to go on summer vacation with John Candy, and he paid for bit of it because he loved me genuinely as a little girl when he didn’t have to
Listen Ben Affleck when you make a film in Minnesota during the summertime not only do you get to bring your whole family on vacation in northern Minnesota it’s an easy way and an excuse for you to go fishing and play golf away from your wife and children. go on vacation and Ben Affleck.
Well it worked Ben Affleck, I went into that movie thinking I was watching a fucking heist film and I got blindsided by some drama bullshit about everybody's feelings. Don't appreciate it bro.
