Good stuff. Quick question if you do another comparison video with Diluc at some point, can you see how his dmg with the dragonstrike tech compares with newer dps. I’ve seen theorycrafters and videos say he can be somewhat competitive with consistent dragon strikes

If she was my waifu type i would use her but she isn't and her kit is most boring so far (even tho i'm razor main, who is considered one of the "boring" playstyle characters". She looks bad and plays bad no reason for me to build her

As a C6 Xinyan Main it makes me happy to see her getting more attention. A highly invested Xinyan is massively underrated and she's one of my key 4 stars for my abyss clears.

I've been a razor main on both of my accounts and you definitely downplayed him. You have to cancel the fourth attack because it's slow af, and you HAVE to use superconduct. It's unfair to have geo resonance for ningguang but not using superconduct for either of the physical dps showcases. Pale Flame is also not the best set for him, you lose way too much time with the e's and that makes you lose dps when compared to 4x glad or 2x bloodstained 2x pale flame.
@@whenyoudontrealizeyourcous5265 yup, I used him as main dps for months at c0 and could still do abyss (back when I liked abyss). for f2p I recommend the prototype archaic and 4x gladiator or 2x pale flame 2x blodstained chivalry. my 2x+2x with better substats deals considerably less damage when he's in his ult, so I'm still rocking 4x glad after almost a year of maining him, he deals more dps than my klee and he's only c1.
In xinyan's abyss showcase, eula wasn't really doing anything lol. You used her hold E without building up atleast one grimheart stack so she wasn't really lowering the enemy physical resistance. But despite that, xinyan still ROCKED and had a somewhat similar time to razor.
@@brokengamer7737 at the regisvines ninguang didnt use any resonance she was with only mona, and razor had pyro resonance and xinyan with both pyro and geo resonance. At the primo geovishap it was equalized because the frog has 50% geo resistance compared to 30% phys res, and he did use superconduct on razor on the abyss runs
Ningguang an Yanfei are actually something bewteen 4 and 5 star characters. Also Beidou is a like a 5 star support on 2 target fights. Her ult is insane when used right.
you dont actually need ambers constellations to play her main dps, you can check out the keqing mains website for the full explanation but basically a c6 amber will only do 15% more damage than a c0 amber
U need c2 to be able to use the baron bunny for burst dps otherwise she is pretty bad unless all you are doing is charge attacking which is pretty boring
As someone who mained Xinyan at different con lvls until I got C6 from Eula banner glad to see someone showcase her damage. Personally I can accept the fact that there are characters that fulfill roles better than others but that doesnt mean u cant play a character thats worse than another unit. That being said MHY needs to make her shield scale with atk cause as it stands now the best way to build her is a dps cause the split scaling makes her support capabilities wonky.

It hurt to see his Razor gameplay and his Razor set. Could've used any other configuration and Razor would've done so much better. E timings were horrible and the gameplay felt very foreign to me as a Razor main...
You have to realize he makes content for simple and new players and a vape carry xiangling doesn’t really seems like she’s doing all the damage even though she is to them because she’s. Not on field 24/7
But Xiangling isn't a hypercarry tho. She is a sub-DPS/support just like Xingqiu, Bennett, Venti, Chongyun etc. which ironically makes her a top-tier character. I will go as far as to say that most of the sub-dps and supports in this game are better than the hypercarries because of their utility and insane off-field damage.
When Razor has the electro sigils he has 60% more Er , there for you must use the tap E until you have enough energy , only use the hold E if it's going to get you your much needed Q in one go(P.S. I just saw that you mentioned that you could make a better use of Razor E , still thanks for the video)
Right (speaking from experience) Razor at C6 he builds up more Sigils for his Ult, Claw and Thunder. Cuz you can tap and hold,(when I was a Razor Main) with 4pc Pale Flame I’d tap his E twice before casting his Ult to get the buff and use it while in his burst
Nice to finally see Xinyan getting some love. Poor girl's been talked about like if she's trash compared to Razor since she came out and not many people seem to believe you if you try to back her up
I built Xinyan because I got her C2 and thkught I might as well feed her crit DMG and Phys dmg to get her some good damage. I was.blown away when I saw 100K flash on my screen I had never done such damage. She's awesome, not only in terms of DMG but her overall character too!
The one thing about Razor is you need to skip his 4th hit every time and once you get c1 you need to alternate with holding e and tapping e to maximize damage. I understand though likely not much experience with Razor
Its really good to see this 3 receiving some love from the community. It would be nice to see chongyun next time since its been ages when his last appearance on banner like ningguang.
I've been using Chongyun recently and his melt potential is very high, unfortunately it might just be a showcase of Xiangling if you put him in his best team.

Great showcase, nice to see Xinyan getting some spotlights as well! People compare Xinyan and Razor a lot but honestly I think they're very different. Razor benefits more from superconduct and more mobility with dodging/animation cancels, while Xinyan focuses more on a charged-attack build (if C6) or burst-focused build (if not), benefitting more from Geo resonance and Pyro resonance I like seeing them together in coop though

Razor has several disadvantages here coz A) Pale flame is trash for him. The 2 piece bloodstained + 2 piece pale flame or full glad is better for him. B) If razor has ult ready he should use hold E and then hold E again after burst for best nuke. C) It needs kaeya or some support coz it can proc overload superconduct electrocharged continuously while the rest 2 cannot.
@@alisondealmeida8129 If it's not the scenario where hes right about to use burst, the 18% extra attack isnt worth the loss of permanent 25% physical dmg bonus. Even if he just uses it when hes in his burst off phases and a bit during his burst, permanent 25% extra physical damage really helps.
@@alisondealmeida8129 It takes initial time to get the buff and also is limited duration. It is decent if u can keep stack forever but that's not ideal for razor coz he is reaction dependent.
Idk if you've done this before but can you do a Geo burst spam team? Albedo, Ningguang, and Zhongli all have the same cd and energy on their bursts. As for the 4th slot, Geo Mc can add crit, a C2 Chongyun can reduce cd, or a Venti can battery and gather everyone to make sure the geo bursts hit.
Also it's exciting to see you branch out to more dps units, since you do unconventional dps units like Qiqi maybe you could do a dps showdown of unconventional dps units like Sucrose and Lisa

Umm you used lumine E to speed up ning’s Q and that 6k dmg. Tho I wonder if it’s a big difference. And regarding razor, E isn’t cancelled enough and his fourth hit even tho it’s supposed to be bad for claymore users most of the time. In this case, it’s good for razor due to the atk speed increase, at least imo.
wanted xinyan for a while after hearing how underrated she is and managed to pull her on eula's banner. she's one of the best claymores on my team now and i use her alongside sucrose! im happy she's been getting more love lately.
Awesome vid! One thing to note about Razor, with the right build and/or team comp his burst is usually ready to go once it's off cooldown which def helps with things :) basically throw a Fischl in there and he's always goin at it outside of cooldown ;)
seeing this also makes me think ppl downplay razor's gameplay a lot....it takes quite a bit of understanding his kit's mechanic to play better on him kinda like klee where xinyan and ningguang really dont need right out the box...interestingg
He also mentioned he isn’t using Superconduct which is a must for Razor with the 40% phys debuff it gives. If you use this plus the press E 15% phys debuff and others effectively he shreds enemies much better than shown here

I feel like you're not cancelling razor's E skill enough. There are multiples timea where you just stand after using E. Also, that 4th hit of his is the strongest, so I think it's not practical to cancel it everytime with E. Hence, I think pale flame isn't the best for razor
from what i've heard, since the 4th hit has the slowest animation it's better dps-wise to cancel it out of burst, but with the attack speed boost of his burst it's better to do the fourth hit then animation cancel
@@joy7367 yes even with his burst on, he's still cancelling it,resulting to lower dps. He's too concerned with the pale flame passive. I think it's better to use 2 bloodstained 2 pale flame or 2 glad in razor's case. Pale isn't gonna cut it.
prob because the term of 'diminishing return' where any further resis below 0% will make ur additional dmg cut by half. so he decided running pyro res + zhongli instead.
For Xinyan double pyro team might be better, but for Razor idk.... i agree, i personally think he should be running with superconduct and two geo at least (since he's using ZL). It's weird he's using Eula with SC but not for Razor. It's also laughable with R5 SoBP he only hit 23k on 4th hit? wtf even my R1 WGS + SC + double geo Razor is doing same damage if not more, r/razormains will flame the shit out of this. Honestly bad showcase for Razor overall.

You should do a whole dps tournament with every single dps character or every character in general participating to see who reaches the top. (I mean obviously Ganyu will probably win but it would be fun to watch)
I was just changing my Razor's artifacts and when I went used his elemental skill it did a high DMG so I went to check how much constellation I'd require for C6 and what's it's function, man I've never been so happy, guy was sitting at C5 quitely without even telling me.
I'd love to see you try some of the best 4star carry teams as well, bonus points if they get away with using no 5* in the team very well, like melt Bennett or Xiangling. Ning does really like having Zhongli and Venti, but I never looked much into her (until I get to that!), so maybe a Geo Traveler would suit her well going all 4^, perhaps with just some raw dmg piled on top, adding Fischl and Beidou sounds like sustained ranged fun.
I'm surprised Xinyan did so well, everyone already knows that Ning is basically a secret 5 star at this point, but Xinyan did much better than I expected. Showing off that Dragonstrike tech was also interesting, I'll have to try that out myself.

I wouldn't think xinyan need superconduct since her E skill basically increase 15% phys dmg and reduce enemies 15% phys resis (and zhongli 20%) but razor might be able to use since he don't need electro support to proc superconduct
@@feanarociryatan2175 that actually depends hugely on the enemy. against low res enemies it barely makes a difference and is often not even worth it. against high res targets like robots or fatui agents with their shields up, yeah.
Idc I just like Razor's playstyle, especially the bonus attack speed during the Elemental Burst, might not be the strongest but it just hits diff yknow

This is a great video, Razor and Xinyan perform similarly, Ningguang's sentient homing rocks speak for themselves. Even so, there are some things i would like to note. 4 piece Pale Flame isn't actually the best for Razor. Not only that, there were quite a few skill rotational and animation cancelling issues which slowed down his overall performance. But it was still a great and detailed showcase in the end.
Oh man I would of loved to help out on this with Ningguang given its at a much higher damage potential and could swap out in situations where Lost prayer isnt as great
Love your vids, glad ur getting picked up by sponsors! nothing bad to say, if anything id like to see some of how ftp builds compare to whale builds in terms of which characters benefit the most from whaling and which ones are good for ftp players, or even if its a thing. As a fellow programmer i like math and maximizing but obviously cant spend money to try out whale stuff so your channel is always my go to and lets me focus on maxing stats over trying builds and with how much it takes just to try builds, your vids help me a bunch!
Well it's not supposed to be a guide, and imo it's really good to see how well these characters perform with peak gear cuz that way we can actually see them at their almost max potential
Xinyan has gotten some recognition for once! Man she even went beyond my expectations. GGs to the Xinyan mains lol. By the way, Fischl can greatly help out Razor with his burst regeneration, so You probably could've saved a bit more time if you added her. Eitherway, well done with the video.
I do enjoy your videos and find them helpful in maxing my characters. However I do wish that you could do some DPS show downs that are more FTP/causal friendly. I.e maybe comparing C0,C1,C2 etc characters to show how their abilities improve and helping maximise them at the lower levels. I currently have no C6 characters and only 3 5 star characters, but still enjoy trying to learn to maximise them.
I mean xinyan is much much stronger as a main DPS than I expected, I still do wish she didn't have split scaling though, that'd probably make her kit shine more because she becomes more versatile (can't really build for shield and burst dmg at the same time the way she is)
He usually does solo comparisons, so xiangling wouldn’t be the best choice. But just know that xiangling in her proper team (xl, xq, Bennett, chongyun/sucrose) is up there with team comps like morgana (ganyu, diona, Mona, venti).
a better set, as i think all three of them are better than razor and xinyan. and noelle is the best main dps unit in the game for non-whales (which doesn't mean necessarily the highest dps, but she's up there)
Since you dumpster the abyss with so many different characters, will you be giving us a new abyss rotation guide? I'm lazy so attempting the abyss more than 5 times every two weeks equates to sacrilege in my eyes, would love to hear what your thoughts are on the new rotations that occur within the abyss, you'd be helping all us lazy/noob players out a lot. he won't be able to help you in that regard, since all his characters including 5 stars are c6 with r5 5 star weapons watch GambitSG instead, he showcase 4 star characters wearing 3 star weapons
Xinyan was my first pyro that wasnt amber and i treated her with so much respect when I was a new player! She will always be a great and fun pyro character in my heart!
Can you, pls, make a video about shields? Raw dps is good, but the biggest problem of 12th floor is phukin heralds (and cryo bitch from 2nd room). I tried to use: - Venti, Bennet, Xinyan, Ganyu - Noelle, Zhongli, Qiqi, Razor And got only 7 stars, because crystal maiden has no cd on her shield and Razor breaks hydro herald's shield too slowly. Do i need more raw power, or i just picked wrong chars?
With some additional def% substats on my artifacts I actually don't really have a problem keeping Xinyans level 3 shield up. Although, you have to have artifacts with that on it in addition to the other stats she needs. It can be a balancing act, but is glorious to behold when done well
