AARON'S STAND FOR MARRIAGE REGARDLESS OF THE COST
Dear marriage supporter,
I had an encouraging conversation with Dr Aaron Edwards and heard the latest on his courageous stand for real marriage. After being dismissed from his job at a UK Bible college for a tweet defending biblical marriage, Aaron remains undeterred in his fight to uphold the truth of one-man, one-woman marriage. Aaron’s focus is not on condemning individuals, but on addressing the growing acceptance of same-sex marriage within the Church. “Homosexuality”, he says, "is not something that should be tolerated within the Church” so neither should same-sex ‘marriage’ be. He stresses that defending marriage as the union of one man and one woman is essential for safeguarding biblical truths.
Despite the recent tribunal ruling against him, Aaron is far from disheartened. In fact, he’s looking forward to the appeal, confident that a victory there would set an even stronger precedent. Supported by the Christian Legal Centre, Aaron continues to stand firm, knowing that this fight is crucial for the future of both the Church and society.
Aaron’s determination is a clear example of what it means to stand up for real marriage, even at great personal cost. His courage should inspire us all to support those who speak up for real marriage in these challenging times.
