An insightful viewer -- @mpattilo -- wrote the following: I am not nor have ever been SDA. I was raised Jehovas witness and was LDS. I left the LDS church when I tested the prophet against the bible. My SDA friend gave me the great controversy series, Which I tead. EGW is a false prophet who plagerized from another false prophet, Joseph Smith. SDA and LDS share many of the same beliefs and doctrines because both religions are based on false prophets. I ferl.sonsorry for SDA people because you are so mislead and do not even know how EGW plagerized Joseph Smith's visions of heaven because you are discouraged from questioning EGW and her heavily plagerized writings. When I saw the similarities between EGW's writings and visions with those of Joseph Smith, I began to research her history and lineage. What I found is EGW is a false prophet whose visions and writings are the basis for the entire SDA religion. SDA doctrines are not biblical and can only be understood based on EGW's writings. If you try to find them in the bible, they just are not there. But most troubling as is also true with LDS is both discouraged members from testing the prophet or questioning. Both EGW and Joseph Smith were hypocrits that did not follow their own teachings and both churches hide the hypocrisy of their prophets from their members. Both religions use the exact same tactics to keep members from thinking and using the bible as their main source of belief. Both religious view the bible through the writings, visions, and revelations of their prophets instead of viewing their prophets through the bible and testing them against the bible. The Bible is clear, a single failed prophecy means the prophet is false. EGW had many failed prophecies. EGW blamed her failed prophecies either on the failure of the members to be ready or that God changed his mind. This is unbiblical. God's prophecies never fail or change as is evidenced by the bible and it's fulfilled prophecies to date. If you are being honest, the you have to admit EGW has been wrong and has plagerized her visions from others including Joseph Smith. JW, LDS, and SDA all claim to be the true remnant church, all three have failed prophets, all three share similar doctrines, and all three have unlbiblical doctrines that are based on the writings of their prophets. A three churches discourage members from questioning their prophets and use the exact same tactics against anyone who asks questions. All three religions prophets were tied to and influenced by free masonry (both EGW and her husband have masonic headstones). All three religions have similar "health" messages. All three religions sprang from the most radical branch of the methodist church. The similarities between SDA, LDS, and JW is more than a coincidence, all are decived by fallen angels who guided their prophets in their visions , prophecies, and revelations (all three share that with Islams prophet Mohammed). Joseph Smith and EGW have visions of heaven that are almost identical so both must be deceived by Lucifer or EGW plagerized Joseph Smith's visions. Either way, she is proven false. Good stuff and important for all to understand.

Trying to bring this up with my fiancé and her family, they are sda. They love Jesus, very good people, but I see them only studying the sabbath school writings. I want to do it in a loving manner, just don’t know how yet. Any guidance would be appreciated
Most do not realize the hurt and pain one feels when you come to the realization that your denomination the Adventist denomination, the one that taught us that we were “it” only to realize that the doctrinal teachings are an insult to the intelligence of God. It is the great delusion! That if it we’re possible would fool the very elect and steal their soul. I thank God for His revelation of Jesus, the foundation, the mediator, king of Kings and Lord of Lords. Hebrews 1:1,2. Tells us that God speaks through Jesus and Jesus alone. He is our Prophet and king! Therefore God did NOT send Ellen. The Spirit of truth has come and leads us and shows us of things to come. John 16:13. We need no other voice but the pure unadulterated voice of Jesus. My Sheep Know my Voice. John 10:27
@MrsSimLuva What about him? Would anything change if Paul’s voice were removed from the sacred texts? Would we understand Jehovah’s plan any differently than we do? Upon what are Paul’s writings founded? Does he stand alone in what he wrote?
the epistles of Paul are the same as all the books bishops pastors reverend etc have written the only scriptures i take seriously are the entire old testament, Matthew Mark luke John acts 1 to like 12 or to 14, then revelation ie once saul(paul) came & was appearing to elevate himself above Peter & co i question so many of Paul's letters
Sadly my heart goes out to folks who look to people for truth and put faith in them rather than do a deep Berean study of God and His Word. I can relate though I've never been apart of SDA. To seek and know God it helps to do a deep study of His Word over the writings of any person. I just found out about the Complete Jewish Bible and Woe getting back to the original language and understanding cultural as well as historical context really opens it up and looking to the Holy Spirit really has helped me grow as a believer. Discernment is key as well prays all former SDA heal from the hurts of this movement and are able to move forward in their relationship with Him my prayers are with you🙏🤗😔🙏
15:32 Completely agree. If you state you are a Seventh-day Adventist but you do not uphold Ellen and her teachings, then you void your baptismal vows and disagree with the fundamental beliefs of the church. She is THE identifying mark of the Remnant™church. In the absence of Ellen, the SDA church no longer qualifies as the Remnant according to their own teachings.
I am 49 years old and now just finding the gospel . I thought I had it as a sda by judging others and seeing the devil everywhere . I was a monster to people and I thought I was so favored by being legalistic
Old masonic witch miss white was a liar, afraud,,a false prophet,,a conartist ,a deceiver,,a blasphmer who is going to the final judgment for her wickedness . From young Robert.
Yep! we were all there die hard legalist. Thankyou Jesus for the new light and understanding of the true gospel and for setting me free from the you of bondage. Galatians 5: 1
Thankyou Dr Allen, I was a SDA for about eight years.... Whilst is was all in, I had a niggling doubt in the back of my mind. When I left it was about 20 years when my dear friends decided to go back into the church after about 25 years out. I started to really dive into testing her. I truly was shocked at the out and out deception Ellen White taught. I sent my friends a folder with over 70 pages of evidence. But sadly they still a blinded. My heart is breaking . 😢.
The hardest part about leaving SDA-ism is wondering where to go. It's really difficult, I can assure you. For me, my convictions still hold fast to many of the historic teachings, which were incorporated into SDA-ism, and so unlike some who have departed, my pendulum did not swing completely to the other side. Some have incorrectly mentioned I have a new-found faith. No, not really. I’ve simply found balance and peace in my Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. But for the record, here’s what I believe: The Bible, and the Bible only; one God, Jehovah; Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God; a literal 7-day creation; Sabbath-keeping in honor of redemption and a total rest in Jesus; the struggle between good and evil; the state of man in death; the decaying planet (i.e., fallen world) and God's Rx to facilitate physical, mental, and spiritual health; pure religion - relieving suffering (i.e., thinking of serving others before serving self); righteousness by grace thru faith alone; the literal second coming of Christ; the destruction of the wicked; Eden restored.

I had a girlfriend who was a 7day Adventist and when the pandemic happened they closed the church and this girl lost her mind I could not comfort her by letting her know she is the church the people are the church and she just fought against me saying no I need to go to church. It was perplexing to me because I was taught to study to show myself approved
Also, the failure of the SDA church to push back on pandemic restrictions was pretty sad... (also a sign by which I knew it was time to get out.) Sure there were some individuals within the church who were more genuine believers and took a stand against the vaccine mandates, etc. but by and large the denomenation caved in.
@@starman8086 Yes. Denominations are what they are (Satan's house) divided against itself and the Fathers house is united in Spirit and Truth sanctified. It took me a long time to understand the difference between being spiritual minded and carnal minded. When I grew up in Spirit I was able to see these Spirits controlling people hoping from one person to another even one spirit inhabiting two different people at one time these things made me be more careful around people who profess to be Christians. I noticed one thing in common with these people they always glorified a man (as their pastor)and never the Father this shows me they never listened to Christ(John 17) they only listened to and put their trust in man. I have become one in need of strong meat and not milk I'm able to teach but I must be careful because the world hates me
I recently accepted the Sabbath as a day of rest , and I love it, but I can't find myself being a seven day Adventist. My reason is they preach more about Mrs White. And not from the Bible.
Hi I too believe in honoring the 7th day as the bible instructs..But no EGW teachings.. I have found watching Parable of the Vineyard on you tube employs our critical thinking skills, as it exposes the myths that we have been led to believe over time. Also Bible studies ever week ..
@sisagee3701 - I agree with you and others sharing their experiences also❤. Although I was a 1st generation Adventist and returned back to SDAism in 2015, I too am now coming to the same conclusion about EG White. For example, being taught to accept that we will stand without a mediator and we are in need of perfection now, brings a fear and almost anxiety that has made me feel God is standing over us with a big stick; so it is with much relief and peace it gives me hearing Dr. Davis explain the truth and how our relationship needs only be with the One True God and his only begotten son Jesus, who will be the author and finisher of our faith when he returns, which I believe is imminent.
Yes it is nauseating hearing EW quoted, and I have seen that she is a stumbling block to many who would otherwise become Adventist. For me, I think the SDA church has the true doctrines and prophetic interpretation, and am Adventist, but I certainly no longer accept EW as a prophet.
Do you think that the words given to the church through the prophet Jeremiah in his day should not have been analyzed, discussed and communicated to the full body of believers?
I appreciate the passage. I’m not entirely certain what you mean by “I’m a believer myself,” but I’ll take it at face value. That said, SDA-ism’s issues must be exposed. Gamaliel’s words cannot be taken in isolation, for if so, then John’s admonition and a highlighting of heresy in his first letter would be contrary to counsel, wouldn’t you think? You might want to ponder this idea.
Acts 5:39 (KJV) But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God. Exposing your truth as you see/believe it to be, does not make it so. So why the angry, obsessive attack on SDAs? I don't see you attacking other religions in the same manner... If this is a false religion, movement or cult, it will disintegrate without your help...God will see to it. But if not...beware!!
So glad to be out of this false religion. I was born and raised in the SDA Church I was even a baptized member (I was baptized in 2005). I left the Church in 2010 during my second year of High School. I did not have a healthy upbringing in the church. My baptism journey in Adventism was also quite toxic. My parents were also huge Walter Veith watchers. I was subject to a lot of Walter Veith growing up as an SDA.
You're so emotional I'm glad you're gone ! We don't need weak fake Christians like you! The SDA church beliefs come from the word of God! Watch and see that you were wrong the United States will turn to a one world religion government and you will see 🤫

For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. Timothy 4:3-4 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds. 2 corinthians 11:13-15

Thank you for your boldness in sharing the truth about the falseness of the SDA teachings. As a SDA for 39 years, I have been an ardent reader of EGW writings especially "Steps to Christ" (So gospel oriented) which I used in many of my Sabbath School programs. Later, reading some of her other books, found it contrary, very controlling, scary, confusing and legalistic. Puting cognizant dissonance aside, and because I only wanted the Truth as in the Holy Bible, I decided to read SDA renounced and the White Lie. Desmond Ford on the Investigative Judgement and 2300 days made plenty of sense. I came to the conclusion that I could never accept a Fake prophet who stole from others, it's blasphemous to say that it came from God and her deceptive teachings. SDA preach a different Gospel from what Paul taught in the Bible. I am very happy to know that I am saved by grace through faith.
You can look at all of history date's what ever you want. If you didn't accept things she said did that mean there's no salvation for you. Did she speak anything against the scriptures. Did she point you to Jesus, is the Sabbath yhe Lords day? The SDA church stands on scriptures not ellen white, that's where you went wrong, more like worshiping her and history, if not someone stepped on your toe and it's burning 🔥 your hurt you.
We appreciate your videos. I used to work for the church too. Their deception snd greediness, was very upsetting. I was an SDA teacher. I felt "called" and special. The last school I was at had been closed and abandoned. They hired me, with promises of my feature there, I invested my all in that school. It was dirty and abandoned when I first got there. Little did I know, they had also promised my position to another. So, when her school closed, due to lack of students, they worked hard against me, to push me out and then thought they could make me quiet about this. So much deception, behind the scenes in the way church "business" is performed. So so sad. I was complete oblivious to all this. Very sheltered. Very trusting. So, I fell hard. It is only by God's working I found the "Formers" and I am still very much a Christian. I learned how much Jesus loves me. He wants me in heaven. It is not a "point system" to "get into" but a relationship, with Most High God.
Your story is heart-wrenching, but not surprising. This is the manner in which cults operate: subterfuge, deception, sleight of hand, etc. Sadly, the closer one gets to the conservatives of SDA-ism (which some would think is a better lot), the worse it gets. Like you, we also had to deal with the hurt, the distrust, and all that comes with being associated with those who are more interested in preserving their political, economic, and religious fiefdom than in truth and having a relationship with the Most High. Thx again, for sharing your story, and I pray you find assurance, peace, and hope in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
How sad that your faith was reliant on human recognition and accolades. Our calling is to follow Christ's example despite rejection...humility, love and a forgiving spirit. Now you choose to follow Dr. Davis' same spirit of anger, and spitefulness? Please pray for a new spirit...🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you for this message, brother. I have been attending SDA church for about a year. Everything they have taught me so far has made sense to me, but I see se weird stuff, too. For example, I don't understand why they won't eat meat when there are clean and permissible animals. I thought those who did not eat meat were like unnecessary extremists. but I see that they are following their own version of Joseph Smith. I used to be a Mormon, too. I have been asking God to lead me to the Truth, and I think I have always had it in my hands: in the Bible.
SDA-ism is a very insidious trap because, like you stated, so much of what they believe and teach makes sense. That is, until it's examined using the Bible, absent of the EGW lens. Having been a Mormon, I'm sure you understand this issue very well. Re: the vegetarian matter and the eating of unclean foods, personally, I'm of the opinion the clean vs. unclean extends beyond the ceremonial: there is science to back up what God Himself called clean and unclean. Thus, for SDAs to take what God prescribed and say to the effect, "Jesus didn't have the Spirit of Prophecy, and God revealed more light to Ellen White" re: foods and health, is simply absurd. Vegetarianism, and especially veganism, is dangerous: in the long run, it will diminish the body's vitality. Some SDAs claim vegetarianism, and when they say so, they mean they don't eat mammalian (e.g. ruminant) flesh. They will, however, eat fish. Well....that's not vegetarian; rather, it's pescatarian. Anyway, lest I digress....the fact you have the Bible in your hand is a blessing. Read it. Find the real Jesus within its pages. Find the only true God within its pages. Find peace and realize, God wants more than anything for you to be with Him in the earth made new. His desire is that all should repent and find redemption in His only-begotten Son.
Remember we did not always eat meat. God gave permission to eat meat after the flood. Trace the ages of men. Methuselah 969 yrs. We live maybe 80 yrs with a few exceptons. Read the accoubts in Genesis. When meat was introduced into the diet, mankinds lenght of life diminished greatly from almost 1000 yrs to 3 score and 10
Read the bible account. . .we can eat meat but not the blood in the meat. Also we wont eat meat in the new earth. There will be no more death. Lastly vegetarians tend to live longer with less lifestyle issues.
Thank you again sir, My wife is a SDA I was invited one Saturday and the way they claim themselves the remnant church and basing the scriptures of Daniel and John in revelation about the mark of the beast and catholism critic just put me off.. So I decided to do a research about it and wow it just blew up my mind so I tried convincing my wife and showing her all the proof of her testimonies and doctrines she still couldn’t agree with me enough. Then soon, she slowly comes to tell me she’s having doubts now. I’m hoping and praying she would see the truth like I did and come out. May God guide her out of this church and show her the light. Since being a member of this organization (SDA) for more than 40 years, I can honestly say Ive suffered greatly under the mind programming method of EG white. But since the dream God gave me about the huge rock on the highest mountain, a Rock which a beautiful white church was perched, was pushed off and was destroyed from its great fall. Since the dream I have learned to not look to the church, but Christ the solid Rock. If you dont build your house on the Rock, you build it in vain, and will fall and great will be your fall. I stand on also Matthew 24:11 and Hebrews 1: 1,2 . a fellow Believer.
That's such a good way to describe it: mind programming. We also call it "brainwashing", not unlike the propaganda movements in the former USSR and Nazi Germany. Jesus Christ is indeed the stone which the builders rejected and is the cornerstone of His church. Thank you for sharing your comment!

I was born in a family of SDAs both my mother's and father's side. I left SDA about 20 years ago. I never regret of my decision although my family asking me to go back to the church. 3 cultic doctrines of that I found in the church: 1.The seventh day Sabbath necessary for salvation and Sunday worship is the mark of the beast. 2. The investigative judgment, and 3. The spirit of prophecy of EGW.
During my years as a member of the SDA church, I never felt comfortable with Ellen White and the SDA church end time theology but unfortunately I went along with it instead of questioning the strange and obfuscated doctrines. In wanting to understand the bible- and the SDA church claiming to have so many answers I fell into the trap. Now I trust God more and don't need all of the answers and see that God has made the most important things to know the simplest to understand The day I learned that Ellen White slapped one of her employees in the face was when my ideas about the SDA church began to unravel. I learned of Ellen White's hypocrisy, abuse of people, slander towards others, false accusations, unChrist like criticisms towards others, divisiveness, her controlling nature, delusions of grandeur and self preserving behaviors at the expense of what is now millions of people. I don't believe that Ellen White received special messages from God telling her to start and build the SDA church. Also, to some degree or another- God knows how much- I believe that Ellen White must have understood that what she saw and was told in many of her visions contradicted God's instruction in the bible.
Dr. Davis, it's a breath of fresh air listening the contents of your channel. I'm from Jamaica and worship in a small group where God has guided us to make similar discoveries through the study of His word. We would like to get in contact with you. Please inform me how to do so.
Which is it? This is all one quote. “We are not to make the use of flesh-meat a test, but we may and should consider the influence that professed believers who use flesh-meat have over other churches. Those who use flesh-meat disregard all the warnings that God has given concerning this question. They have no evidence that they are walking in safe paths. They have not the slightest excuse for eating the flesh of dead animals. God’s curse is resting upon the animal creation. Many times when meat is eaten, it decays in the stomach, and creates disease. Cancers, tumors, and pulmonary diseases are largely caused by meat eating.” { TSDF 79.7 }
We are not saved by the meat of animals... or do we go to hell because of it. We are saved by faith through the GRACE of Jesus, if we reject Christ then we have chosen our own destiny.

I think everyone would do well to read and consider biblical counsel given by the Lord through the true prophet Jeremiah in chapter 23 pertaining to judgments on false prophets and priests (pastors) who scatter the sheep. What the SDA church has gone through in the past, and is currently going through regarding their doctrine on the Gift of Prophecy has a direct correlation to this chapter. God’s word is truly our only safeguard in these last days, and most certainly trying times. Enough said!
Unfortunately, neither Ellen White nor Adventists ever dealt/deal with Jeremiah 23 dealing with God's warning against false prophets, doing so would be self-condemning
The church is going through a time of trial division and apostasy, such as the Bible predicted for end times. The final remnant however will remain, as it's truth will remain and stand till Christ's return... Say what you will, this is Christ's church and, when we make it to heaven, I believe EGW will be there too...surprise!!😮
I grew up in the Adventist church. About 15 years ago things happened, and my wife and I no longer go to the local church. In this 15 years I have asked myself "why do we need Ellen White's writings?" If you ask several Adventist pastors the same question out of her writings you will get multiple answers. If we can't agree on what she writes why would we use her writings to interpret scripture? Why not just use scripture itself.

I left the Adventist Church three years ago when upon studying the word of God, I found that the trinity and many more doctrines within the Church is not biblical! It's sad that many of my SDA friends are still in error and they worship Sister White as if she is God almighty and they have spread many lies concerning my beliefs now! That's ok, God and His Son is living in me and guiding me into all truth and that's all that matters! 😊

Please give me your opinion about this question and answer below about what Ellen Wite gave us as a disclaimer. Secondly, I think we have a forum to openly discuss and correct misunderstandings about scripture and doctrine to move together as a remnant church. what do you say about that? 'What did Ellen White say about her writings? Ellen White maintains that her writings while in harmony with the Bible are not to be added to the Bible. As noted above she maintains that the Spirit of Prophecy writings are the "lesser light to lead men and women to the great light [the Bible]."'
My opinion is this: First, the greater light isn't the Bible, it's Jesus; the great light is God Himself. She also claimed her writings were either of God or they were not; moreover, that one could not cherry-pick his way thru what she wrote. They were either to be wholly accepted or wholly rejected -- no middle ground. I find such a comment to be a bully tactic and spiritual abuse. As for a forum such that we can discuss Scripture and doctrine, I think that's a great idea with one caveat: Ellen must be sent to the corner, and if need be, given a shot of Thorazine so to keep silent.

Sadly, the religion of Adventism is a dark delusion, it is anti- Christ and teaches its own three Angels messages. Which is not the gospel that Christ taught us to take to the world. It denounces the Cross and the atonement and it remains under the old covenant of sin and death; these are loosing principals. There is no gain in the Adventist Doctrines only loss. 19:56 Ellen White did not report what she saw of other worlds in her November 1846 vision. Rather, she spoke while in vision, and Bates identified the planets by her descriptions. James White wrote in WLF 22 what she said while in vision. Many people are confused by the description given by Loughborough of the numbers of moons around the planets because it is now said that these planets have many more moons. However, what they don't know is that the number of "moons" changes by the year, as more debris around the planet is identified and counted as moons. If we count only the orbiting objects of larger magnitude, Ellen's description of the numbers is validated. This being said, it was not the number of moons that impressed Bates but, rather, Ellen White's description of the "opening of the heavens" in the constellation of Orion. It was AFTER this description that Bates published his pamphlet on the opening of the heavens, showing his continued interest in the subject. The inhabitants on a planet with seven moons was a later vision (the "Other Worlds Vision" in January 1849), which, unfortunately, was conflated with the November 1846 vision.
I understand what you're wanting to say here, but it's an excuse with no substance. It doesn't matter who recorded the vision. (I would think, a brain-damaged young woman in her shape could barely find energy to live.) Thus, it's without merit based upon the clear evidence she read Bates's pamphlet. To assert she didn't is, unequivocally, dishonest.

Please Dr Harris. Explain me how far is this from the Bible’s teachings: He who tries to quench his thirst at the fountains of this world will drink only to be thirsty again. Everywhere, there are men who are dissatisfied. They long for something that meets the need of the soul. A single Being can satisfy this need. What the world needs, 'the Desire of all nations,' is Christ. Divine grace, which only he can impart, is like living water that purifies, cools and invigorates the soul. DTG 155 Ellen White

My brother SHE WAS NOT a Prophet. ALL THE VISIONS SHE CLAIMS TO HAVE HAD WOULD HAVE HAD literally would make you the most important person in the bible and Christianity outside of Jesus, more important than his Apostles and Prophets, more important than Apostle Peter who Jesus gave the keys to The Kingdom Heaven in Mattew 16:19, you would have to be more important than the Apostle Paul who wrote 13 of the 27 books of the New Testament and was the Apostle for the Gentiles. You should be more important than the minor and mayor Prophets of the Old Testament including Isaiah who God used to prophesied the Virgin birth of Jesus. Also the test of A TRUE PROPHET IS NEVER WRONG!!!! AND NEVER CONTRADICTS THE WORD OF GOD!! Scripture records that on eight different occasions during the Old Testament period God took on a human-like form. Some of these appearances were as the Angel of the Lord. They include an appearance to Hagar - the mistress of Abraham. The Lord also appeared to Abraham and Sarah at Mamre. There was also an appearance to Abraham at Mount Moriah. God Appear to Moses, and Why? God may have appeared to Moses more times than we know, but we do have the biblical record of at least nine appearances that came at different times whenever Moses ascended Mount Sinai. If we look back to the Old Testament, there were indeed prophets-some of which spoke God’s word, but some of which also led God’s people astray. This is why the Israelites were called to test the prophets. There were of course the prophets, whose prophecy was considered the infallible, inerrant revelation that we find in the Bible. Prophet Amos: 5 Visions, Revelation by Apostle John: records total 7 visions, Zechariah: 8 Visions, Daniel: 4 Visions (Over period of 70 years), Prophet, Ezekiel:9 Visions, Isaiah: 2 Vision, Jacob: 1 Vision, Jeremiah: 2 Visions, Apostle Peter: 1 Vision, Apostle Paul: 3 Visions In the early days of Christianity, prophets played a crucial role. They proclaimed messages from the Lord to believers, filling the gap when the New Testament was not yet complete. Some messages were revelatory (new truths from God), while others were predictive (foretelling future events). These prophets were foundational to the church, as mentioned in Ephesians 2:20. Completed Revelation: The New Testament, including the book of Revelation, was eventually completed. With the full revelation of God’s Word now available, the need for prophets to reveal new truths has diminished. The essence of prophecy is to speak for God, and any message today must align completely with what God has already revealed in the Bible. Testing the Spirits: As believers, we are instructed to test everything against Scripture (1 Thessalonians 5:20-21). If someone claims to be speaking for God, we must compare their message to the Bible. If it contradicts Scripture, it should be discarded; if it aligns, we seek wisdom in applying it (2 Timothy 3:16-17; James 1:5). No More Apostles or Prophets: God can still give messages to individuals, but these messages must harmonize with the Bible Turning to the New Testament, we see the same phenomenon. There were the prophets-namely, the apostles-appointed directly by Jesus to speak authoritatively in his name, under the Spirit’s inspiration. Then there were also ordinary prophets that the Spirit led to speak God’s word in certain situations. Other prophets are also mentioned, although what they actually prophesied isn’t written. We aren’t to question God’s prophets, but the prophets in the book of Acts were fallible and had to be tested. Many people will point to Ephesians 4:11-14 as proof that prophets and apostles still exist today: And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; Something important to note here is that it says he “gave” apostles and prophets, using the past tense. I think he gave them but doesn’t keep giving them. Just as there are no more apostles, there aren’t any prophets today in the way that there were when Christ was just beginning to build his new covenant church. We have God’s written New Testament now. The foundation has been laid. There’s no need for growth of that foundation-it has been laid, and now we’re building on it. To build on that foundation, the offices of evangelists and pastors continue today. Elsewhere Paul also mentions elders and deacons, but in this passage of Ephesians, he’s focusing particularly on the ministry of the word, because that ministry of the word through preaching and teaching is what creates, builds up, and expands Christ’s body. It’s also worth noting that in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1, when elders and deacons are discussed as an office that will continue in the church, we see a list of qualifications for those offices. We don’t see that same list of qualifications for prophets or apostles, because Paul realizes that these extraordinary offices were only for that foundation-laying period of the church. I really think what Paul is saying here is that prophets and apostles were necessary to bring the church to maturity-to adulthood. Now what we need are pastors and teachers to lead us through those Scriptures, who build on that foundation so that we will stand on the day of Jesus Christ. A particularly useful passage that isn’t mentioned as often in this conversation is found in Daniel 9:24 that reads, “24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy..” Putting an end to sin and atoning for iniquity-these are what Jesus himself accomplished on the cross. In the accomplishment of redemption and the work of Jesus Christ, there’s no need for new revelation. It’s sealed up. What we need in the church today are pastors and teachers who are faithfully going to take that faith-once for all given to the saints-to the world and build on that foundation.

After studying the book Desire of Ages, I started noticing more and more contradictions to other books that Ellen White had written, and also how obvious teachings had been changed since I started my "journey with Christ" in 2007. For the past 4 years it has become too disturbing to ignore the facts of deceit and utterances that Seventh-Day Adventist believe so blindly, just the "prophet" has written it. Thanks for sharing these videos. God bless!
They are a false religion because they ADD an additional book, authored by a woman not recognized as a prophet of God. She didn't walk alongside of Yahshua Ha'Maschiach. My observations are that EXTRA books are usually added as supplements in false religion. For example, The Book of Mormon, JW's, The Catholic church catechism, etc. You can tell the SDA audience 100x's that there are exceptions to the 7th Day Sabbath in KJV books of the bible: Romans and Colossians. But they ignore it. SDA's seem to make an "idol" out of a day of the week and food choices. I don't blame you for NOT tolerating disrespect.

Critical thinking is bamboozled at Sabbath School classes!?! I dont know which Adventist Church you went to, but the ones I go to, hold the most robust SS discussions, and people often challenge what the teacher says. But to be fair, I dont believe EGW was a prophet of God.
If you don't believe EGW was a prophet of God, then by all accounts -- and I say this with utmost respect -- you're not really a SDA. Wonderful! She is a false prophet, she claims Michael the arch angel is Jesus, now I say this how would that make sense? 1. Michael is one of the chief princes, meaning there are more chief princes as in more arch angles! 2. Angels were created to worship christ, so if christ was Michael that would be self worship and we know that God does not worship himself! Also they say christ waited 1,800 years to go from one part of heaven to the holy of holys, now a true bible study would instantly reveal egw to be a false prophet right there! God's word states that christ finished his work and sat down by the right hand of his farther God, also the holy of holys is the presence of God (so according to sda where was christ for 1,800 years?) Even the tabernacle on earth, inside behind the vail represented being in the presence of God and christ Jesus said it is finished! Amen the word of God is sharper than a double edged sword! The vail was ripped in half from top down, sdas say Christ is in heaven pleading praying for our sins, investigative judgment, yet God's word say's it clearly that Christ finished his work ascended up to heaven and sat down by the right hand of God!
Thx for your comment. Re: the issue surrounding Michael, the SDAs don't have a unique position on the subject. There are other groups that have concluded the same thing. That said, archangel means chief messenger, nothing else. Also, the Scripture only presents *one* chief messenger throughout the text. I believe the matter would be more clear if Dan 10:13 didn't state "one of the chief princes." At the same time, textual consistency leads one to deduce there is only one chief prince, and that is none other than Christ Himself. No intimation is given to the idea Michael is created, only that -- as the name implies -- He brings comfort and protection to God's people, and that Michael Himself possesses all the divine attributes. Matthew Henry wrote: "Others think that Michael the archangel is no other than Christ himself, the angel of the covenant, and the Lord of the angels, he whom Daniel saw in vision, v. 5. He came to help me (v. 13); and there is none but he that holds with me in these things, v. 21. Christ is the church's prince; angels are not, Heb. 2:5. He presides in the affairs of the church and effectually provides for its good. He is said to hold with the angels, for it is he that makes them serviceable to the heirs of salvation; and, if he were not on the church's side, its case were bad. But, says David, and so says the church, The Lord takes my part with those that help me, Ps. 118:7. The Lord is with those that uphold my soul, Ps. 54:4." This does not mean it is so. Rather, it means many sound minds have accepted the position, and context and consistency *appear* to conclude Michael ("one who is as God is") to be the pre-incarnate Christ. For me, although I once strongly believed Michael to be the pre-incarnate Christ, I've now taken a step back to re-examine whether or not it is so and whether I can, absent of falsifying arguments, stand on firm ground in such a belief.

Hebrews 1:13-14 KJV But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? [14] Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? Hebrews 2:9 KJV But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. God's word does not error and is not double minded it tells us quite clearly that Jesus was never an angel, he was made a little lower then angels so no way christ was Michael the arch angel. Jesus was with God from the beginning, let all the angels worship him! Jesus does not worship himself! Quite clear brother!
I don't believe you've understood what I wrote. I'm familiar with all the texts you've cited, but they are taken out of context both linguistically and theologically. Once again, the term "angel" means -- quite simply -- messenger. It CAN mean a created being such as a seraph or cherub, in which case, I would agree, Jesus CANNOT be one of those. However, He was the chief messenger sent by God -- the Son of God -- to represent the Father. Is this correct? Yes or no? When you read such statements as, "the Angel of the LORD," to whom does this refer? Please do a study...it won't take very long. You will find, by and large, it refers to a divine being...most likely the pre-incarnate Christ. For example, "And *the angel of the LORD* said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude." (Gen 16:10 KJV, emphasis added) "And *the angel of the LORD* called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here [am] I." (Gen 22:11 KJV, emphasis added) "And *the angel of the LORD* appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush [was] not consumed." (Exo 3:2 KJV, emphasis added) In each of these examples, this "angel" exercises divine prerogatives, and at the same time, it is not Yehovah, but rather the angel of Yehovah. Archangel -- and there's ever only one mentioned in the sacred text -- means Chief Messenger. Period. How could Michael be the chief prince when Jesus is clearly the chief prince of God, if indeed Yehovah is king? Recall in Joshua 5:13-15, where the Captain of the Host of the LORD appears to Joshua. Who is this Captain? The text states he was a man. Would a man command the removal of Joshua's shoes, whereby worship was then the command? Think about that. This Captain of the Host of the LORD can be none other than the pre-incarnate Christ. Now, what is the "Host of the LORD"? I would submit to you, it's the angelic host, and of course, they pay homage and are in submission to Jesus, wouldn't you agree? If that's the case, it's not a stretch for this chief prince, archangel (which might not be a created being, and likely isn't), etc., to be the same Captain. Jude tells us, Michael durst not bring a railing accusation against the devil, but rather stated, "the LORD rebuke thee." You might ask, if this were indeed Christ, then why didn't He personally rebuke the devil? For the same reason He didn't in the wilderness when tempted of the same. Instead, He invoked the LORD's (i.e., Yehovah) name in rebuke, which is appropriate. Again, it's not a hill upon which I intend to die -- I'm not dogmatic about it, as I stated in the prior post. But friend, you've yet to make a logical argument as to your position. I would encourage you to study the language, grammar, etc., and develop your position from there, rather than from one of opinion. Blessings, AD
@@DrAD767 Thanks for your reply, I simply take it like this, no where in the bible does it state that Michael is Jesus or pre incarnate Jesus. Period! Jesus was not an arch angel pre incarnate as Michael, Jesus was with God from the beginning, Jesus is God's only begotten son nowhere does the bible ever state he is Michael, the word of God is not to be twisted taken out of context for man's ideas to make it believe what they want. John 1:1-14 KJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. [4] In him was life; and the life was the light of men. [5] And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. [6] There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. [7] The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. [8] He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. [9] That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. [10] He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. [11] He came unto his own, and his own received him not. [12] But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: [13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. [14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

I believe in end-times prophecy, and yet, I think the SDA church has grossly misinterpreted Rev 13 & 14, neither understanding the seal of God nor the mark of the beast. That said, I will soon do a presentation on the topic once I have more time to commit to the project. I believe the SDA church has grossly missed misunderstood historic Protestantism, and in their zeal to be peculiar, they've isolated themselves into what amounts to silliness and speculation when they explain certain matters, for example, the USA as the second beast of Rev 13, Sunday as the mark, etc.
18:04 You are likely referring to Steve Daily's assertion that she got the first vision from Joseph Turner, but that notion is based on the assumption that Turner's view of the Midnight Cry was published in December in The Hope of Israel Extra. The evidence does not support that assumption. Turner had shared his new view, in Portland, for the first time the night before he asked Ellen about her vision. He left Portland, in January, and traveled to Boston, where he published the single-issue Advent Mirror that is cited by William Miller and others as the reference for the new view and not the Hope of Israel Extra, printed in December, which, by the way, is no longer extant. He left Boston and traveled to New York (Turner to William Miller, Feb. 7, 1845), where he presented his bridegroom view to S. S. Snow in four discourses in Franklin Hall (Burt, 115, n2; Voice of Truth, April 16, 1845, p. 20).

21:39 Bates wasn't bank-rolling the movement, as the claim would suggest. Bates spend his funds promoting the Advent prior to 1844, as anyone knows who has heard the account of the money sent to the post office by which Bates was able to buy flour for his wife's baking.
At first I thought so, but after much tears and praying, why was I in this for so long before my eyes were opened, the thought came that He uses things to reach others. Anyone in a cult doesn't know it and will fight against being told that especially by one who doesn't know from the outside. But maybe, they will hear from one who has read all the writings and believed it and lived it for so long. He doesn't waste our pain and trials He can redeem the yrs the locust has eaten.
Hello Dr. Allen. I did hear you speak as a member of SDA at a fellow SDA member's house. I am ready to hear what you have to say with an open ear. I have been a member of SDA since 2000. In 2016, I became a part of the Father and Son community. Now I am hearing and seeing this. I don't know what to believe anymore. Except: God the Father and His Son and the 10 commandments. Anything else, I am looking at with a side eye 😂. Much peace to you brother.
21:54 The issue of church organization can best be understood in terms of their view of the nearness of Christ's coming. In 1845, they eschewed forming another organization because they didn't think that it was warranted because of the imminent return of Christ, but, as the greater mission of sharing the Advent in the world became apparent, organization became a practical necessity with many individuals preaching divergent messages (hence, they were called "Messengers, which is the origin of the name "Messenger of Truth" and the "Messenger Party") but claiming to represent the Sabbatarian Advent believers. BTW, her "Gospel Order Vision" came in September 1852--eleven years they were organized as a denomination. The Messenger Party opposed the concept of Gospel Order in 1853 and published their paper until it folded in 1857.
Understood....thank you. What your lack of objectivity fails to discern is, there's always a reason to kick the can farther down the road. There's always a reason to continue asking for money to "keep the mission solvent and the Gospel workers remunerated so that they might spread the 'truth'." I've heard these sentiments for decades from the "big boys". It's not about the message or the mission. Rather, it's about the $$$ and filling the pews via baptisms (i.e., sheep stealing). I've rarely (perhaps even never) seen SDA-ism win a soul to Christ organically. It's generally thru the manipulative Bible studies and evangelistic meetings, whereby the biblical narrative is skewed to fit EGW's writings, where people come into the movement thru fear, and you know what I mean here.
The point is simple: People don't change. The big SDA ministries -- yes, Ellen's was, too -- are about one thing only: money. Hook 'em with another pope letter (or, actually two in the calendar year....one just after tax season and the other before the holidays); generate excitement via typological nonsense and hyper-sensationalism; tell them the music to which they're listening is a distraction dilemma; or scare the pants off of them via diet reform and the need to attend cooking and health seminars in Lodi CA (okay....a healthy lifestyle is indeed biblical, but Gen 1:29 isn't any longer.). BOTTOM LINE. SDA-ism had an opportunity to die on the vine in the 1850s, and it's a shame for Christianity as a whole it didn't. Then, it had the opportunity to rightly reform in 1888, or there abouts, but sadly, the messages of Waggoner and Jones didn't make it to the hearts of those who truly needed it and could've made a difference. Another opportunity for reform presented itself during the 1919 Bible Conference, where the question of EGW came to light (I have a transcript and have read the proceedings), but wasn't properly vetted due to conflicts of interest within the group. In 1957, the denomination misled Dr. Martin, who was prepared to call a spade a spade: SDA-ism is a non-Christian cult. It was his compassion that prevented him from doing so, more than it was Froom et al.'s outright prevarications about what the organization truly believed. Then came Ford and Rea, two men who tried desperately to bring the denomination out of cult status, and what did Neil Wilson do? He doubled down with what at the time was FB #17. Now there was a viable reason (i.e., teeth) to remove people from the church if they rejected EGW, no different than what the Catholics do to those who openly reject Mary as an intermediary. My work experience simply edifies what this *organization* has always been: a deception of satanic proportions. Can it be reformed? Not likely....there's too much money involved. In 2022, alone, the denomination took in over $1.1 billion in revenue. It's a business, Pastor Morgan, not a church. I believe there are some sincere people, who sadly have been duped into believing a lie. The only way to bring them out of the darkness is with a bright light -- the light of Jesus Christ. This is why I do what I do.
I think someone hurt you in the church and it's burning 🔥 your heart Allen. Did ellen white she speak anything against the bible. I think where you went wrong you focused on her writings for your salvation, if you were not in agreement with her words did it mean there was no salvation for you? Is the Sabbath the Lord's ? Can you remove salvation, grace, mercy, the 10 commandments? well she didn't, all she ever did was lift up Jesus, what's wrong with that?
James Blyden, this comment “someone/something hurt you, that’s why you left” is a predictable and common comment aimed at anyone who studied their way out of Adventism. In a way, you’re right - the doctrine hurt us! I have no bad feelings toward the people of Adventism, I was raised in that church, it gave me my best friends, my husband and by extension, my children. But the doctrine itself was heartbreaking and wrong, and when shown the truth and the real Jesus, many of us left and continue to leave. God Himself led us out, opened our eyes and showed us the way out. Most of us love the individual people of Adventism, it hurt to leave due to the loss of relationships, but we left to follow Jesus, not because some hurt our feelings.
I do not agree Ellen G White lifted up Jesus? How can you even say that? How many times did she predict Jesus was coming and he did not. Only the Father knows when. Lies, deceit, false prophet. SDA also has their own bible. Look that up too in the HOLY BIBLE to see what God says about that. Ellen G. White has taken words out of the Holy Bible and added HER words in the SDA bible called The Clear Word Bible. It was recommended to me, strongly i might add. Why? Because they want you to believe what they want you to believe not what is true in GOD`s HOLY BIBLE. So, the dark side and true side of Ellen G. White, is not from GOD. Who is the father of lies? Satan. I pray for you to come to your senses. The SDA church has really brainwashed you. When you hear the lies often enough you begin to believe them even when evidence is proven. SDA is a wolf in sheep clothing.
@rudolfberki8683 What Jesus was that? I don’t see that as having been the Son of JEHOVAH. She eventually wrote about a member of the Heavenly Trio, which is not a biblical concept. Here again, her inconsistencies show. Early one, she was very monotheistic. In later years, she moved toward a tritheistic mindset.
Good video. White wrote that Job lived before the flood, Moses wrote the book of Job, and it is the oldest book of the Bible. But I have found 5-distinct proof-text areas in Job that prove all that to be false. The 9th word of the book is Uz which only existed after the flood. Job spoke of God stopping the sun. That happened after Moses had died. The Chaldeans are mentioned in the 1st chapter. And they had their beginning in 852 BC, 533 years after the death of Joshua. The River Jordan is mentioned, a relatively new name in the Old Testament. Swift ships are spoken of. What are they? I think the ark was the first ship. And it wasn't propelled (by man). Thirteen verses speak of rain, something that probably did not exist before the flood. And the list goes on. If these things are true, why believe in her (White) as a prophet? She (Desire of Ages) said that since animal sacrifices had no blemishes, Jesus was born without blemishes. Well now... does not that open the door for an Aryan Christ? Jesus had special physical privileges? But the problem is this: how do we help the SDAs? The moment you comment about even the minutest need for correction, they shut you out. The conference will black ball you. What a deal.....
God's final word was Jesus, He needed no other one. Even in the Apocalypse, it was Jesus who gave the messages directly to John, who was simply a faithful scribe; nothing more, nothing less.
Wow, Dr. Allen Davis. Minute 31:35 onwards really hits the nail on the head. Thank you for being so outspoken about this matter. It is indeed exactly like you say. EGW was indeed a spiritual abuser, her actions were indeed satanic and pure evil. I am close to finishing Steve Daily's book and I am just so very grateful that I am out of this terrible fear-based religion. May the pure unadulterated Gospel shine forth and bring many sons unto glory ☺ God bless you!
Evil indeed. it is the strong delusion that captures and manipulates the mind into becoming an Anti Christ without you recognizing it. Thank God for Jesus who saw the sincerity of the heart searching for real truth. He saw you and me.
Dr. Davis, you are very correct about Ellen White. Since there is no other church or movement, and because I believe in the prophecy of Daniel and those of the Book of Revelation, and also that the seventh-day Sabbath is God's holy day, I remain silent about E.G. White. She was a liar and a thief. She claimed that God had her ear and that most of her writings were copied from others. And I mean a vast amount of copying.
Thx for your comment. Re: another church or movement, I think you might be surprised. SDA-ism is beyond reform. They're just an economy that's self-perpetuating upon the backs of others' money. I had to do a wholesale relook, and the videos on this channel are part of that re-examination. I invite you to watch and comment as you're moved to do so. Cheers, AD
Deuteronomy 18:22; the erroneous teachings about the shut door 1844-51; two apartment heavenly sanctuary; investigative judgment; failed food for worms 'vision' of 1856; all invalidate EGW's status as the spirit of prophecy. We no longer need to revere nor believe in her writings. I arrived at this conclusion years ago. There needs to be whole scale reformation in Seventh-day Adventism.
First, my name is Dr. Davis, not Harris. Second, please tell me, what work needs to be finished? Didn’t Jesus say, “It is finished,” on the cross, then after His ascension, sat down at the right hand of JEHOVAH? In that same passage in Heb 1, Paul tells the reader, God used to speak to men by prophets, and in “these last days” has spoken to us by His Son. Please consider what this statement really means.
It is impossible for an Adventist to say they are not an Ellen White believer because even in the sabbath school book there is usually one scripture verse and whole passages of Ellen. Ellen is presented as this wholesome upstanding women that is ready for translation . Ellen is never seen as the drunken women battling Alcohol poisoning which is covered up and for some reason called vinegar addiction. Some may respect her more if the human Ellen shone through.
I grew up as a Seventh Day Adventist, Born Bread and Butter, I've never a Big reader of Ellen G White books, but I was Surrounded by a Lot of Ellen G White Finatics or Extremist, I can tell you, they are a Piece of Work. All my life all I Heard was, Sis White Said; Sis White Said; Sis White Said; I really Got Suspicious when The Devil Cast a Spell on all the Sis White Extremist in my Church, I have never Witness anything Like that in all my entire Life, My Church was one of the Most Vibrant, Active, Prosperous, Both Financially and Spiritually Church in that Circuits of Churches in the Districts, Talk about Bringing in the Money, So what ever is going on there, The CONFRENCE have to pay Attention. When the Devil Cast that Spell, it went through the Air waves Like a Lightening. Everybody heard, and want to come to the Church to See what was taking Place, Bus Load of People came to see the Action that was taking Place, and boy Oh Boy! They was not Disoppointed, They did Saw the Action, The Devil Torn into some the Most Active Members in the Church, As My Father said, The Devil Target the Cream of the Crop and Make a Circus out of Them, It was fainting spell, it was Speaking in tongues, it's was Screaming, people beating people telling them to Clean up their Life. It was singing one song for hours until everybody start Screaming. Then They turn on a group of us because that would'nt Join them. My Sister and Had to and some others, We Give them a Piece of our Mind, because they are saying we are not Living right because we Eat Meat, These People they Early in the Morning when it is dark running to each other's house, Those of them who were Married, Took off the Wedding Band, Stop Sleeping with their Husband, It was a CIRCUS. The Most Respectable Seventh Day Adventist Church in the Circuit of Churches, become a Laughing Stock around the Whole Country. The CONFRENCE had to come down and have Meetings with those who were Involve for Hours to show them in the Bible where they had gone Wrong. It was a Day of mourning, and Soul searching when they found out they were DECIEVED. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO WERE INVOLVE, WERE ELLEN G WHITE EXTREMIST, THEY TOOK WHAT THEY READ IN HER BOOK TO THE NEXT LEVEL. After they found out, they were DECIEVED, it was a Cold Spell took over the Church, A lot of people left, some Migrate to Canada and the United States, because of the Embarrassment. IT WAS A SAD DAY IN ZION. But we Overcame, The Church pull through it. I'm just saying this to say, PLEASE READ YOUR BIBLE WITH THE GUIDANCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL TRUTH. DON'T BE DECIEVED.
When Queen Elizabeth Died, a Huge Rain now was over the Buckingham Palace, That mean THE END of an ERA, THE REIGN OF THE MONARCHY IS OVER, THATS WHAT A RAINBOW MEANS: NEW BEGINNING. CHARLSE REIGN WILL BE SHORT, AND IF WILLIAM TAKE OVER HIS REIGN WILL BE SHORT, BECAUSE THAT RAINBOW WAS A SIGN THAT THE MONARCHY WAS OVER.
I was born and raised in an SDA environment. After completing my MSc degree, I realized that I had been misinformed in many ways. One of the issues I encountered is similar to the problem discussed in this video. More troubling, I discovered that there is no concrete evidence supporting the existence of Jesus, whom I had deeply admired. This was a significant disappointment for me. Despite this, my life has continued, and I am now happier than before. My advice is to read the Bible critically and seek evidence that supports your beliefs.
I have been a loyal SDA since I was 12, now 92. If you are no longer a believer in the SDA teachings the question I have is why you and others like you take the time to produce such videos? Get on with your life and be happy that you have found the Truth for you. I have heard Walter Wrayy speak and was not impressed. I have listened to 3 hours of D. Ford and found he needed a clear study of the Bible.
Sir, Saturday was never God's 7th Day Sabbath....God is a Spirit. The Sun and Moon weren't even created until the 4th "day". Jesus restored all creation back to God! Isaiah 66 is a Millennial Reign Prophecy fulfilled in Christ! What is ritual under Judaism is a spiritual fulfillment or reality in Jesus! To proclaim Saturday as our 7th Day Sabbath is to deny the Lordship and redemption of all creation in Christ Jesus. You Adventists read the Bible logically, but you lack the illumination and Revelation of the Holy Spirit. Paul even told Timothy that no woman is to have any authority over the body of Christ! Yet you Adventists continue to follow the false teachings of Ellen White
@@MrCalidan69 I agree with you, re: restoration and redemption, Ellen White, and a failure to receive the Holy Ghost, but what puzzles me is, how you can you state, Saturday was never God's 7th-day Sabbath. Are you identifying the pagan name of the day, Saturn, that is, Taurus? Are you saying the Sabbath has no part in the Christian life? Please note, I'm asking question for clarity. Thx.
People will ask how Jesus is the Fulfillment of the Laws of Moses. Great question. His sinless life here in the flesh by Him condemning sin in the flesh and becoming the curse of the Law on the cross, Jesus fulfilled the 10 Commandments. His body broken and blood shed, fulfilled Unleavened bread and Passover. His Resurrection First-Fruits. The day of Pentecost fulfilled the Feast of Weeks. When Jesus returns for the Church, the 5 wise Virgins, the Trump of God shall sound, and the dead in Christ shall rise. At the Last Trump. Donald Trump is a pre-cursor! The Catching or Snatching Away of the Church fulfills the Feast of Trumpets! Rosh Hashana. Then the Anti-Christ, the Great Tribulation and His Second Coming where Christ Judges all Nations, fulfills the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur. His Second Coming, during His Judgment and separation of all sheep and goat nations, He fulfills as Judge. The Day of Atonement. When Jesus recreates a New Heaven and Earth, and we are resurrected and glorified immortal and death is last enemy to bow it's knee, then God's work of 6 days of redemption is finished and now we enter into His 7th Day Sabbath rest. All creation made perfect. All sin and death is removed. Peace on Earth for 1,000 years as Satan is bound. Because there will be no death, we will never eat meat ever again! The unclean meat symbolizes the Fall! No animals will ever die again. The seasons and signs in the Heavens, the solar system will be totally perfect! No more hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, etc.....fulfilling Gen 1:14. That's what Paul was clearly referring to in Colossians 2! This is the last of the Great 7 Feasts in Judaism, the Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot. All things are fulfilled in Christ. The Law was not abolished, it's being fulfilled in Christ alone only in Him and His finished work of redemption. Adventists keep trying to limit God to the natural realm and this is why Adventism denies the spiritual fulfillment of the Law only in Christ! If we go backward to any aspect of the written other than to apply for health benefits for the flesh, we are denying salvation by grace through faith in Jesus
Dr.Allen I will be happy for u to post the statement from sister White's writings, that she was given a vision that the Lord would come on Oct.22, 1851. State where in her writings, that statement is written.
Next, you can post (from her writings) where she met a fake, Levitical Priest costume Jesus. Complete with bells, on the hem of his garment. -to alert us of his sudden death, in the presence of a Holy God. She said it AT LEAST twice, so... it should be easy enough to find.
@@ADVENTFRAUDSQUAD Have you viewed the video, EGW The Echoing Prophet? My post here had me thinking about it. She never said anything that someone else hadn't said previously. Blessings 🙏
DING DING DING DING DING!!! Winner, winner! Ribeye dinner!!!! I’ve been very busy kicking other penguins off the iceberg, and so I’m glad that you were able to respond to his request. I would’ve gotten to it by the end of the day, but the sooner the better. Cheers, mate.
@@DrAD767 Now I'm hungry... Ha! 🤠👍 First off let me ask if you have run across Scott with Intoxicated by Grace. He's just an honest Former that speaks from the heart. Check him out if you can. I always wonder if I'm being too mouthy or impinging on other folks' ministries. Yes I run my head at times but I do try to keep it civil. I don't turn away from honest counsel so will always listen if I'm in error. Prayers 🙏
Also should mention a few things from an astronomical point of view (will be covering this vision in an upcoming book I'm working on.) Jupiter and Saturn have even significantly more moons than mentioned in this video, but many are small orbiting with irregular orbits. In the case of Saturn, an 8th moon was found about a year after Ellen's "vision" and it wasn't until the 1960s that this number had risen to 10 known moons. Manned probes in the '80s were a big part of where the new discoveries came in, and most of the newer satellites were not discovered by Hubble or Webb but actually by high-powered ground-based telescopes equipped with special pieces of equipment. Nevertheless, in terms of moons of significant size after the 4 main moons of Jupiter everything else is irregular in nature (not spherical in shape). So there's a bunch of captured asteroids but she was still technically correct to speak of 4 main moons. With Saturn it's a bit more interesting, as there are an impressive 146 known in total, but most of these again would be quite small. And yes believe it or not there are only 7 major satellites (large enough to be spherical in shape.) Once you drop down to Hyperion (the 8th satellite discovered shortly after this vision in 1848) it is no longer spherical like our moon but irregular in shape. That being said, if she was also talking about inhabitants of these planets then yes, that's totally bogus...
If she were actually a prophet, she’d have known precisely the satellite count of Jupiter and Saturn, limited knowledge notwithstanding. The evidence is clear: She read Bates’s pamphlet, then lied about not having done so.
Hello Allen great post. I was wondering what would you say to someone who claimed Ellen White was a prophet due to her holding a Bible for a long period without breathing? This is a very pertinent question to those who consider Ellen a prophet or not. perhaps you can do a vid on the topic. I myself am not sure currently where to place her, but there are serious doubts that may be forming. nontheless as you yourself said that doubting her prophetic office is not a issue of salvation; doubting and disobeying God is.
Hi, and thx for your comment. I would tell those who bring up the holding the Bible, she was a cataleptic -- diagnosed and documented by no fewer than four physicians. Symptoms of catalepsy include a rigid body and limbs; limbs remaining in position, despite attempts at moving them; no response to external stimuli; loss of muscle control; and slowing down of metabolic functions, such as breathing. Sound familiar? Such a disorder would easily permit a < 100-lb. and sickly woman to hold up a heavy Bible for a long period of time. Hope this response helps you and others in the journey to trust only Scripture and the real testimony of Jesus.
@@DrAD767 Very insteresting response. I think you should make vid of that. in addition your presentation on her claim that we would stand before a mediator without Christ is also nonsensical. She has perfectionist theology then talks about grace alone elsewhere. also her claim that headship is a result of a curse is incorrect.
oh almost forgot, if she had catalespy then presumably she could not control her outbreaks... would it be your contention that she had an unexpected attack and then use that attack opportunistically? could be possible I guess
Correct. Those with catalepsy can rarely control their outbursts, and they actually magnify and come on more suddenly when the person is hysterical, which she often was. Think about all the times the men were together, talking about this or that about the Bible and Miller’s failed prophecy. She stated, she couldn't understand a thing until she went into a trance. Hysteria and catalepsy give you a "prophet". Re: her issues about grace vs. law, and her perfectionistic theology, the SDA people have been given a recipe for misery. I was there, and that's how I felt. As for headship....it has *NOTHING* to do with the curse. It was always God's order.
I have wondered why there are so many "miracle" type books from SDAs. They seem to hide the issues with everything they can think of to get you distracted, then say "what about all these miracles"? Have we forgotten the most often repeated warning? "Don't be deceived? Demons working miracles in the last days is where we are at.
I'd like to say that most churches rely on their pastor.or teach and don't actually read the Bible ì had to relearn the Bible with the holy spirit to get the truth.
Yes, many fail to realize she was a very depressed woman, and I believe much of it came from poor nutrition. That aside, she fractured her hip and thigh in fall, due to brittle bones, and what brought her demise were complications due to heart disease. As the Scripture states, "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones." (Pro 17:22)
Hi Glenda Duncan. It sounds similar to John the Baptist and the prophets before him. If she died depressed could it have resulted partly from being criticized on all sides just as Jesus himself was surrounded with demonic oppression as He sacrificed his life for the very ones condemning him. We must repent, and be converted. Return to reading our Bibles, pointing humanity to our only hope, the One who loves us so much!❤️
Elijah was depressed after his encounter on Mt. Carmel, he ran from confrontation with Jezebel and hid in a cave, per your standard he's not a true prophet. Jonah sulked under a gourd bush because he was angry at God for saving Ninevah. He even asked God to kill him (suicidal). Prophets have all sorts of issues, but per you, they should just be perfect saints, and by your standards Jonah wasn't a true prophet. Samson, from what we understand from Scripture, literally commited suicide in the Phillistine temple. David murdered Bathsheba's husband, slept with her, and lost most of his children because of his grievous sins, bringing a curse from God upon his house, and you see how that affected him in the Psalms and yet he's in Hebrews 11 with Samson. So if that was your argument against her being inspired, it just shows that you're intellectually dishonest and you don't apply that same standard to Biblical characters.
Thank you for this excelent and most revealing video. This is a fact and cannot be denied: people deluded by the EGW's ideas are "undoable". I am sure you know it, the bible is full of such examples. It is in vain Dr.!
