26:52 _"Salafi preachers rather than rousing tears and their audience over the plight of Palestinians for example, rallying people to take action. they encouraged the women to take action on themselves to stop sinning, to worship God correctly and devote themselves to hours of serious study of Islam's basic creed."_ yeah, that's true, most Salafi preachers will tell their congregation to busy themselves learning the creed (aqidah) and the methodology (manhaj), unlike non-Salafi preachers who prefer to make their congregation cry and get carried away with emotions with their lectures rather than explaining more basic and urgent matters.

I am very surprised that Dr Anabel Inge's research is so accurate. she gets the right interviewees, which is possible for other researchers come to the wrong person and provide wrong information so that what is presented from the results of the research is misleading and misunderstanding. just look at how she describes "what is Salafi", how Salafi is and how she describes the veil, and she also understood that Salafi opposed demonstrations and such.

If they don’t think and simply obey rules, their point of view is nevertheless squarely based on the thought processes of the teaching authorities on whom they depend! These authorities, obviously, do NOT possess either the mind of God or the mind of the Prophet! So, they’re back to square one and human understanding! A broader traditional interpretation of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah will always be better than this unilateral one-sided Neo Salafism!
