💯💯💯💯. These are the strongest and most loving of them all!. All the other ones that have to make a point that they are “strong and independent” etc. are usually nothing but problems and negative news!
@@godswrath5626 But all these years later we know Denzel Washington is a nothing to the black community. Denzel is an actor only. And I did not like the movie Malcolm X. Minister Farrakhan said he knew Malcolm X better than anybody else and Spike Lee spent 19 minutes and 59 seconds with him to discuss the movie. Too much in that movie was not true but they used Denzel Washington to be able to sell it to black people. Soon they'll be putting Denzel Washington on a postal stamp.
@Tev Name what part that Farrakhan has to do with Malcolm X death? If he had any part in Malcolm X death how come they did not arrest him? I am not going to be naive because I do not know everything but you saying something without proof makes your argument weak. We all love Malcolm but he shouldn't be used to turn us against each other. And f*** Denzel like I said earlier. Black celebrities are the biggest distractions to what black Americans need to do.
There was no greater man in African American history than Malcolm X. His awesome choice of wife stands as a further testament. The GREAT Dr. Betty Shabazz, though very humble and reserved, was indeed the epitome of a woman's strength. I have admired her always. May the ladies of this incredible legacy continue to SPEAK, LEAD and CONQUER. Peace and blessings...
It said that today's women choose to "on the plantation of United states with the fake hair & nails chasing drug dealers money and twerking in front of them.
Lord, when Mrs. Shabazz started to tear up, I got the biggest frog in my own throat. She was a lovely and beautiful woman inside and out. In a number of ways she reminds me of the women in my family, and watching this clip makes me want to love and cherish them even more. God bless you Mama Betty!
She is STILL wearing a wedding ring.. I love the elders..Oh how I wish i could once again sit in the council of the elders.I am so sad that it seems they are leaving us with no replacements. I never realized how much wisdom I was surrounded with as a child. Maaaan!
She kneeled over the body of Malcolm her husband in stage at the Audubon Ballroom as he lay dying and she was pregnant at the time...i have soooo...much respect for her and want to marry Ilyasah...
Loyalty down to the ty.Why can't we bring that back black folk? Have we lost or souls? That's real black love.Malcom x and Betty Shabazz .God bless there souls.
cried like a 2year old. What a demonstration of resilience n strength. Bro Malcolm would b sO proud...His wife n children represent his legacy w/ such grace n dignity...!
Check out that “One Night in Miami” movie that just came out. It’s like the older I get the more I understand and feel for Malcolm. Betty was truly the epitome of elegance and strength. A widow with 6 children who was still able to complete her schooling. My heart will forever go out to that family.
Wow!!! Attalah is splitting image of her father and you can hear his voice when she spoke. I got goose bumps watching this Legacy of a family!!! The fight continues!!!
There are only two men and women who I consider to be the Greatest Black Man and Woman in history. That’s Malcolm X and Betty Shabazz. I love and respect you both.
We must not forget that there were three widows and the befriended and stood by one another the third is Merlie Evers the widow of Medgar Evers and she is fierce also. Betty was in charge of the nursing program at the Brooklyn College named for Medgar.
Man that was beautiful. Just chokes ya up for real. She, along with Coretta Scott-King were two strong women. Two women who celebrated womenhood but NEVER forgot the men in their lives, Malcolm X and Martin L. King.
Malcolm X We Love you You taught us to be proud n independent u taught us so much I let my kids hear your speeches before they go to school n after school n let them see your interviews so they can see who u really are.. There all her kids, in sincere emotions, talk about their strong, devoted, dignified, and being as an example of pinnacle of an integrity mother of theirs.... May God bless, Rest in Peace, you and your courageous husband, brother Malcolm.....Ameen.....
This mother is an inspiration. Their story remained me of my own. My mother was 8 months pregnant with my youngest sister and had 3 young girls when our father was shot to death in 1992 with very similar situation but in different country. Mothers are superheroes, what our mother did for us we can never pay her back half of what she did for us.. until now I thought my mother was the only toughest mother.. my eyes are full of tears looking at them seeing my family. We basically went through very similar situation. Of course my father wasn't that big as brother Malcolm may they rest in peace, but he was very well knows for his good work, kind heart, fearless, caring, loving very generous.. people talk about him till today remember him how good person he was. He died to protect other people.. He was an inspiration for many people, he touched so many hearts.. This mother was thanking the people that were beside her after her husband passed.. I understand their language so well, it's like hearing my own mother's speech. I'm 30 now I was not even 3 when we lost our father but he remains in our heart, in our life in my mother's life, she never got married again, she was only 28 when my father died. She honors my father, she couldn't forget him, she still loves him for who he was.
What an beautiful, courageous, outstanding lady Ms. Betty will always be remembered for. Ms. Betty, the epitome of a good, wife, mother, VIRTUOUS woman of GOD!!!!!!
The daughter on the far right at the end(our right), with the all black dress and glasses, Malcolm can't deny her, that's definitely Malcolm's daughter.
Yessss she is the one that look more like him...maybe she is one of those who where in betty belly when Malcolm X passed but the ressemblance os craaazy
Thats Ilyasah in the black dress. Betty was pregnant with the twins Malaak and Malikah when Malcolm was assassinated. I believe she was abt 3 months pregnant with them at the time
Denzel Spoke Just Like He Did In The Movie Which He Portrayed Malcom X! What a Beautiful and Wonderful Person! I don’t know him personally but when ever I hear him it is always encouraging and enlightening and pleasant!
The community should have gave the late Malcolm X family more support after his murder . He gave his life for his community and he was such an honorable man and left a legacy his family and the community can be proud. Rest In Heaven Dr. Shabazz💜
very inspiring and powerful love of family on display here..... I thank God for you that your family could lean on each other and that you all stayed together. I pray that my Lord will bless you and give you peace and grace.
Wow tears are rolling down my face cuz I hear her speak so well about her mother I've got five daughters and now they said about me was that Imma Be and they wish death upon me

What a real wonderful moment. Mrs. Shadazz was a strong woman indeed and raised 6 lovely daughters. It really is a shame how she died R.I.P. Sister Betty.
As a member of the Tlingit tribe, Eagle clan, (NW Native American for the non-natives) I bestow all honors to you, Mrs. Shabazz. You and your husband have contributed much to the cause of equality and fairness. R.I.P.
