Finally! A doctor recommending strength training and not just walking. Thank you, and to be specific, sSTRONGER muscles are what matter, not just pumped up muscles. And also remember, " bodybuilding" is primarily a pharmaceutical endeavor.
@@kevins9389 Sure, to be specific, strength training is healthy, but competitive bodybuilding is nothing more than a pharmacuetically enhanced mirage. The average person can certainly get stronger, but to expect to look like a "bodybuilder" without steroids is an unreal and unhealthy expectation.
I watched her presentation on her story, what she does and Omgoodness… I didn’t know what I didn’t know😢 I’m in tears in gratitude right now to you J for bringing Brooke to our community and continuing to absolutely change my life 😭 I love you, I’m getting so much better even more!!
Love this woman! As someone who is a scientist I really need someone who has the scientific approach, with data, evidence, TONNES OF COMMONSENSE! A national treasure!
Goodness, some of these comments are so freaking cruel 😢. Jeanette, you're my go-to for all things raw, and I so appreciate all of the wonderful content you bring to all of us daily. Nothing but gratitude. Being in front of a camera is truly HARD, but thank you for doing it ❤. Much love!
I agree. It can be very helpful to get honest feedback. And she IS constantly touching her hair and face, which is somewhat distracting. It is meant as feedback, not criticism. Great interview. Love dr. Goldner!
Coool, ive BEEN wanting to hear more about these topics specifically. So glad to see them all talked about in one interview!! Thx Jeanette, for your work!!
Oh how I loved the hashimoto's nugget at the end, thank you! And yes, smoothies gave me issues but i already had ibs. Now I chew all most of my food and am able to allow a smoothie more often again. Your gut needs time to heal and acclimate. Loved you both ladies!!! So much knowledge!!! 🙌 keep spreading the word!!!
48:22 make sure before you buy your iodine dropper from the store.. ask for and buy "ingestible iodine" only. Do not use the stuff you cover your wounds with.. That is not ingestible. The easiest way to get your iodine dose every morning is a drop or two of the ingestible iodine in your distilled jar of drinking water
@@Carn4Life-EGLPJGenesis 1:29-31 29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground-everything that has the breath of life in it-I give every green plant for food.” And it was so. 31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.
My daughter started a green veggie smoothie plan, mostly greens, fruit and little meat and ended up with kidney pain that felt like a bladder infection. Doctor found oxalates, first time we ever heard this. We cut out spinach, took citrates and the condition reversed.
I drink kale smoothie for more than six months. In the beginning, feel good. Then recently I start to have bladder pressure each time after drinking large quantities of kale smoothie. After stoping drinking it, the bladder pressure is gone.
I can give you one answer to restless leg syndrome... At least what helped me anecdotally. Magnesium Glycinate and D3 k2. After a few weeks of that, I've been clear for over 2 years. There are probably better methods/options with regard to type of magnesium for tissue absorption and might even be able to not use D3/K2 combo at all. Currently I only supplement with magnesium glycinate and have great results. Also I advocate eating hydrating fruit in the morning and around midday eat a big meal and evening for dinner eat another big meal. Hope this helps someone. Thnx for continuing to make great content MsFitVegan ;)
Excellent interview, glad you had her on and discussed these topics. There is definitely an anti-plant based diet movement. It's mostly the carnivores who claim that plants are trying to kill us if we consume them. Considering the years and amount of clients Brooke has had experience using primarily vegetables to reverse disease....the answer is obvious.
Nice! I’m trying to heal from chest tightness/shortness of breath and have been doing mainly fruit but I’m debating going the cruciferous veggie and flax seed route
Restless leg syndrom you can stop instantly, sitting on your heels and bend your body backwards in order to strech the insteps. within 1 minute it does not feel uncomfortable anymore , in my case it lasts for weeks that no restlessleg syndrom comes back and with time it becomes better and better in total!
could you link to an example of what you mean or direct me to another source to help me learn this! im trying to visualize based on your description but dont know exactly how this would look 😅
My question regarding oxalates, is what about people that have had numerous courses of antibiotics and have destroyed their Oxalaobacter formigenes in their digestive tract? Not sure the only issues from oxalates are potentially kidney stones. I have never heard Dr. Goldner address this.
@31:21 could this also be from a buildup of mucoid plaque in the intestine lining? Possible, but that too will clear out with persistence of greens and fruits in the diet
How are people able to eat enough on a greens diet? For me raw greens aren't that tasty and i'd have to eat tons of it to feel full. I wouldn't want to live on green smoothies to try to get in all the food that i need every day.
No matter how many cruciferous vegetables you eat, you're not going to get most of your calories from them. Eat lots of greens, but the bulk of your energy is going to come from starchy whole foods.
I’ve been struggling w/ the PROTEIN paradox bc im perimenopausal, and worried about bone/joint health bc I already have arthritis. Everyone tells you to eat a ton of protein and collagen, and it’s sooo confusing.
She is the best! Anyways does anyone have this weird thing about tofu - gaining weight? I really like tofu. But if I eat it every day I've noticed I'm gaining weight. Anyone else with this problem?
I like her passion, but she didn't give the science about the lectines - I really wanted to know more about that and also nightshades - do they promote information or are they reducing it?
AT 10 minutes(ish) she says we are "herbivores". We are NOT herbivores like horses and cows. We can't digest grass. We are FRUGIVORES! Doesn't she know that our GI tracts are identical to gorillas who eat FRUIT? Our teeth are more like theirs than they are like a cows'. Dr. Gregor knows this. She talks about the "fast track to recovery" is with greens and that greens are highest in nutrition. Dr. Morse would say that to recover you need to create an environment that is clean and alkaline and only fruit is astringent enough to do that (detox) and remove the toxic wastes and inflammation and that greens are what comes later to use for building the body. She still sounds very "conventional" with her references to "Covid" being "very much around" and to "auto-immune" disease which there is no such thing as the body is always trying to heal and does not "attack itself" like orthodox medicine teaches. She is right about one thing though, regarding (conventional) doctors. They do "know their medicine". Sadly, we aren't sick due to lack of medicine.
It's not about Dr. Morse's approach being right and Dr. Brooke Goldner's approach being wrong, because there are many roads to healing. Diet is not an ideology. All I know is Dr. Goldner's healing protocols are very effective and have given people fast recovery results. I've followed her for many years and so far she always said we are Frugivores and that in the wild we'd eat plenty of fruits, leaves and herbs.

No need to wait that long. I was on a Keto/Carnivore diet for about 5 years and all of my health markers started to get worse and worse. I'm back on a WFP based diet and feeling a whole heck of a lot better.
A keto diet is very high in oxalates. Almond flour high oxalates. Peanut butter high oxalates. Chocolate high oxalates. Spinach and kale high oxalates. Do I need to go on?
Oh jeez, the guy is eating all trash foods, and then thinning out the blood with alcohol to cause kidney stones. My step mom was heavy wine drinker and she developed extreme amounts of kidney stones
You have to do both fasting is so beneficial for autophagie and if you eat because you have to try to eat so much veggies as possible! Much green . So healthy you can ! It will heal you both
When you do a water fast you're not adding any plant toxins or oxalates to your body. Your body can start resting and repairing. Be careful if you do a water fast after eating high oxalates foods because those oxalates will start dumping and you'll be in a world of hurt. Look up Sally K Norton.
good video what about if one have no thyroid had thyroidcancer, how much kale brockoli soy can one eat, heard that if one have no thyroid it will be contrataction with levaxin that i have to eat since i have no thyroid
Well tomatoes bring my hypo thyroid problems back….hijiki seaweed is the only and best to heal thyroid because it’s low in iodine, other seaweeds like nori can destroy thyroid, they are higher in iodine
I would have liked a more scientific answer related to a "tête a tête Dr Grund y Level" argumentation... Dr Goldman deviates... She does not talk about how Dr Gundry arguments lectines adhesion to gout epithelial lining... She doesnt go deeper in how we react or not to lectines. I will look if Dr Greger coul talk about it because even she is right about "results are there", it is not enough. She is somehow simplistic.
Wish the self obsessed interviewer would quit playing with her hair constantly. It's distracting and makes it seem more shallow.. had to just listen instead of watch. I'm glad for the info from the doc though, knowledgeable!
I was about to be excited to read her book till @9:20. She is promoting a diet of toxic veggies. I literally can't eat most veggies. I can eat low carb fruits, meat, dairy, and eggs. I literally cannot digest kale or onions at all
Digestion of veggies gets better when you start with small amounts and increase that bit by bit. Gut microbiome will grow and those new healthy bacterias will digest everything
Errrrrr, i like Dr. Goldner, but she's talking crap about protein powder. Sorry. Not everything because its orocessed is bad for you. She also needs to define whatcis processed. Ultra processed is also different. I do agree that taking anything like protein powder when body INFLAMMATION is present does make sense.
Once again another guest who has zero education about iodine and Lugol's solution. You cannot get the adequate iodine/iodide that we require now a days from nasty table salt. Don Bennett has been the exception. They put the least amount in salt to only stop goiters and most of that iodine evaporates.
Perhaps next time just stop watching and unsubscribe. The world is a mean place sometimes there is not need to make it any more mean..... I understand you are super professional and confident and comfortable on camera but not all of us are YET!
You state vitamins and minerals from greens are the reason for healing. What vitamins and what minerals ? Meat has much higher concentrations of vitamins and minerals. liver is super food. You also claim omega 3's are what is healing people, but sardines and fish have much more than flax and chia. You don't mention those because you don't want to promote eating animals. You state sulforophane from cruciferous is the nutrient that is healing people but your smoothies are made with spinach, not cruciferous. the wide consensus is that chicken and eggs are thought to have the most arachadonic acid, not dairy and red meat. So your evidence should be presented if its contradictory. People who eat red meat are usually doing it for the testosterone. If this diet is really working for people it would be nice to know why. Chia was highly prized by indigenous tribes. Maybe it has an unknown benefit.
