It was his voice that held people for an hour! It was soft, kind, angelic yet dignified and confident! He KNEW what he wanted to say because it came from his spirit and you could hear it! His spirit spoke. Gods spirit! I will so miss him! I’m so thankful that I can still watch him! Been watching at least 30 years!!

Glory to GOD for the TIME Dr. Charles Stanley spent on this earth Preaching, Teaching and Walking the very WORD OF GOD. REJOICE FOREVERMORE Dr. Stanley. I will never forget…”Obey GOD and Leave the Consequences to HIM”❤
So thankful for Dr Stanley. I’m 53 and have listened to him since I was 7 yrs old. I count him among the most influential people in my life. He was perfectly imperfect and unpretentious.
isn't just what you do but what you don't do. Not just what you did but how you did it. Not just what you said but how you said it. Love is so simple yet the simple make it so hard. Love Is full of knowledge yet even the smart don't get it. Love doesn't cost a fortune yet fortunes are spent trying to gain it. Love does demand of you yet you are not willing to sacrifice for it. Those who only seek what love can give and do for them, do nothing for love and others and in such selfish pursuit, in turn rob themselves of love's best gift. Make this year the year you seek to sow love and not just reap it. Be love and not just think it. Do love and not just say it. Talk love and just don't fake it. Seek love and just don't chase it. Embrace it but don't enslave it, share it but don't dare boast in it. Enjoy it but don't abuse it. Free it and watch it come back. Invest in it and watch it pay back. Wash your life in it, light your darkness with it, eat your food with it conduct your business with it and above all else Serve God in it. For whatever love is and is not, it's all of, for and From Him. He is LOVE! " By Steven Gooden
I remember Dr Charles Stanley preaching the word of God thru television when I was young. His message really created an impact on my life. From Mexico I want to say God bless you Dr Charles Stanley!
Dr. Charles Stanley, will miss you. I never meant you in person but your preaching and prayers every end of a sermon inspired my spirit greatly. The one time I listened to a sermon he preached about the Peace of God, I did exactly when he said in that sermon and felt so peaceful the whole day , Amen. Jackie from Uganda in Africa
I was in the pit of Depression when I happened to turned on the TV and there it was this In Touch and Dr Stanley was giving a message about Depression and I was so touched and started to picked myself up by reading my Bible back again and left everything in God’s mighty hand.
I read your comment and I am glad you found Dr Stanley on TV, I think it was meant to be, God spoke to you that day to lift you out of that state. So let's just always put God first and thank God we heard God's word through Dr.Stanley. Be blessed.
At my lowest points in my life, listening to Dr. Stanley sermons brought me closer to God and knowing how to listen to God and how to pray. I thank God for the gift by letting Dr. Stanley preach the gospel and reach out to as many people as he did in his life. What a bueatiful testimony.
I was truly saddened to hear of Dr. Stanley passing but I had to remind myself that when we leave here we don't leave home but go home. Thank you for all your amazing and Godly teachings. I will forever continue to seek your teachings and holy Word❤
I was also saddened of Dr.Stanley's passing.I remember watching his television broadcast of In Touch over the years starting as a teenager in the mid 1980s. I loved his soothing Southern voice. He was transparent at times, sharing some of his life's experiences. He is at rest now waiting on his reward.❤
I remember bitter moments and painful trials when the calm, loving, and confident voice of Dr. Stanley would usher in peace and rest to my soul giving me strength to press on. A favored quote of his that I am seek be to follow: "Obey God and leave the consequences to Him." Rest peacefully, Dr. Stanley! You have earned it!
Dr. Charles Stanley lived a long life. I’m still sad to hear of his passing. I remember my grandfather driving me to school around 1997 (when I was in my rarest form) & Dr. Stanley was planting seeds over the radio around 7am. He was the first pastor I heard that I could understand and take heed. His wisdom was limitless. His voice was one of a kind. Rest in Heaven, Dr. Stanley. Thank you for the seeds you planted & will continue to plant beyond your years.🙏🏽🕯️🕊️
Great man of God and wonderful home going celebration. Continued prayers for his family, church families, and friends around the world. Enjoyed his sermons
Indeed in touch has been an instrument to reach us here in Philippines. His life, dedication and faithful to Gods call has been an inspiration and encouragement for me to hold on no matter what lies ahead of my way. Thank God for your life and ministry moved us. We will surely miss you. May we follow His Christ-likeness and live for the Lord til He comes. Sola gratia
Thank you First Baptist Church of Atlanta for sharing this service with all of us who could not be there in person. I am so sorry to hear he is gone. I’m tearing up. Dr. Stanley was one person I wanted to see live for a very long time. His teachings will forever be etched in my mind. Thank you Dr. Stanley. May you rest in eternal peace. 😢🙏
Dr. Charles Stanley earned every blessing that Christ Jesus and our Lord God are pouring over him at this moment. He will be so missed but thanks to technology we can still learn from his preaching. Tears will flow as well as joy because he is home with the Lord.
Don't Weep For Me in Sorrow but in Joy. To have lived and loved anything or anyone or been loved by anything or someone then you were given life's highest reward, the Gift of Love, for to have loved and been loved is no greater achievement. Love is too abundant to count, immeasurably measurless in it's reach, too wise to comprehend and yet infinitely finite in each experience. I've lived to sip tea with her and eat with her. I've walked and ran with her and sometimes just sat with her. Love wept with me and I with She. We laughed and fought, sometimes parted but always returned. Love loved in every situation whether poor or rich. In our pain or pleasure, disappointments or surprises. Love was loyal even when forgotten, near of far I always felt her heart and She mine. Loved showed up at times as a stranger, other times a friend and every now and then ,she was the enemy that once was. A family member or pet even. I heard her voice in the woo of the morning dove or the purr of a kitten. She sang to me in the melody of a song or spoke to me in the refrain of a poem. She told me many tales of past present and future and I told Her mine. We loss together and won. Our shared suffering only strengthened the bond that tied us. We rose from our ashes like a Phoenix and our chains freed us from our pride and humbled us. Thank you Love for every gaze in your eyes, every kiss and embrace. I got to pass you by and breathe your aroma, hear your voice and taste the fruit of your love. In any amount was more than my tea cup could hold. The moment was an eternity and I am grateful. Don't weep for me in Sorrow but in Joy, for I have tasted Love. We passed in both the light and night of Life. - Steven F Gooden -
Thank you for recording Dr Charles F Stanley’s Remembrance Service, I personal want to thank Dr Stanley’s ministry on planet earth during his lifetime. I am one of his listeners and watching him teaching on TV. He encouraged me on one of his talks when he said” When you are in Church, don’t focus on what is happening around you but focus on Jesus” and I listened. I always do this every where God sent me for Worship and Praise. Because some people come to church to disturb those who are serious with God. This helped me whenever I come across such people in church, I pay attention to the service and ignore what’s happening around me. I focus on Jesus, as Dr Stanley taught. This will stay me for the rest of my life as I am a dedicated and strong Christian. Thanks be to God for Dr Stanley’s ministry.
It is well in my soul. May your soul rest in peace with the Lord. Bless your entire family. May the find comfort that your home with the Lord. My peace I give you. The Lord be with you.
We all mourn the passing of a great man of God and modern day hero of the faith, Dr. Charles Stanley. For years, I have benefited from Dr. Stanley's teaching and his love and commitment to the Bible. His ministry at First Baptist Church in Atlanta was watched by thousands here in this country and around the world. His preaching was a combination of mind and heart, of deep knowledge of the Bible, and real concern for reaching the people with the life-changing message of the Word of God. He will be greatly missed.
NtateMogolo Stanley was an amazing teacher on a simple life of Faith through the Holy Spirit. He inspired me to live in the awareness of the presence of the Lord. Glory to God for his life was a gift indeed 🙏

No human goes to Heaven and Charles is no exception, 1 Tim 6:15-16 and many scriptures in the book of John. Listen to Charles over 25 yrs ago. Appeared to be a good Man. He is like the rest of God's creation, in the ground. He is not Greater than Moses and Moses is in the Ground waiting. Rest will brother Charles.
Thank you First Baptist Church of Atlanta for sharing the event online. Dr. Charles Stanley is the greatest preacher that ever lived in my lifetime. I've watched him on TV for 30 years. He changed my life.
😭I was sad but then i remembered - He fought the good fight, finished his race and kept the faith, so it is well with my soul, Man of God, Rest in Eternal Peace.
I praise God for dr Charles Stanley. I have been watching and listening to him for over 45 years. His impact on my life has been profound. I will miss him but thankful to be able to listen to messages from years ago and can reread all of his books. I grieve but know he is alive and well in the presence of the Lord he served so faithfully. See you in glory, Dr. Stanley
Thank you all for sharing this wonderful celebration of Dr. Charles Stanley's life!!! Words fail me here as tears of grief and joy fill my soul. Dr. Stanley has been teaching me God's Word since I was a very young mother of 3 to a great-grandmother of 3. I look forward to thanking Charles in glory for all his guidance and for teaching me Jesus' path.
We're never as strong, as we are until we have to be. Never Do as much, unless the need we see. Only give our best, when we fail at mediocrity. We Love rather than hate when we admit we're one humanity. We always give more, when compassion moves our heart with unbridled generosity. We Become more of our potential when we are made to see, that clearly our minds can believe in unfathomable possibilities, while seizing every opportunity, here in lies one's destiny. More than our scars, higher than our stars, for in our flaws are what defines our features, they're uniquely ours, as human creatures. We can run faster than on our slowest day. Reason better, and thinking it through all the way, regardless which direction our emotions may sway. We can find our voice when speechless, our strong words with meekness and our Courage in weakness. Always patience not quickness. Silence for peace than loudness, quietness of fear, not hopeless, for time and effort are equally unbiased. We are more than the stories we're told, we're the one's we write, each page unfold. We are the sum of our Lies and truth, fantasy, fiction, faith, and myths, no matter how uncouth. These are what shape us, our lives lived is the proof. We can be more right than wrong. More just than judge. More godlike than unlike. Reflecting Sunlight in our darkest night. Providing refuge. Never more alive until we die within and begin again. A Human Ark Divine in our human spark. That's who we are, Who and what we can be, we can become. by Steven Gooden

What an amazing legacy you have left behind You have run the race fought the good fight and now in heaven with your father ..God bless you Dr Stanley .your legacy lives on in the hearts you touched ..with in touch ministries.
My dear friend and sister in Christ loved Pastor Stanley and loved sending his church an offering. She was from Germany and had some big trials. She finally was able to come to America and housed by a Christian family and able to live here the rest of their lives, having and raising children for Christ. She would not miss Pastor Stanley on Sunday nights. After her husband went to Jesus, I would go watch Pastor Stanley with her on Sunday. He was the Lord’s servant for sure. Praise the Lord.
Dr Stanley lifted my entire family's faith in Jesus Christ and our Discipleship. My tributes have been shared since the morning of his death because Dr Stanley made us and every race, creed, and sinner feel at home at First Baptist...Father God thank you for welcoming your servant Charles home to rest in perfect peace. ✝️🙏🏾💐
