"Erasmus basically became a baptist" um no he didnt, he still held to his catholic roots and criticised the reformation for being petty theological arguments. Erasmus was himself criticised by Luther (amongst many harsh statements from the latter) for being weak and unwilling to part from Rome. Also plenty of people read the (byzantine majority) new testament and arent baptists.
Something else that is lost in these modern translations are the divinely inspired figures of speech which the Holy Spirit used for a divine purpose. Even if they DID use the textus receptus, their casual attitude and paraphrasical approach to scripture, would STILL result in those figures of speech being lost.

Some of you out there are not aware that your King James Bible is not the original 1611 version. It was “updated” in the late 1700s. I own both the 1611 KJV and the updated one from the late 1700s. The words "of God" ARE NOT in the 1611 version, but ARE in the later published KJV versions in 1John 5:12. If the KJV is the perfect word of God, then which one is the right one? It can't be both! Here's YOUR updated verse: “He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” The original 1611 KJV DOES NOT have “of God” in 1JN 5:12! They left out the name of God! Now let me explain what I've found checking on this verse. The 1524 Tyndale New Testament has those two words. The 1560 GENEVA BIBLE has those two words. The Bishops Bible of 1568 also has those two words. All three of these versions come from the same manuscripts that the KJV was translated from, and precedes it's publication! But that single version, the original 1611 King James Version, and only THAT one, DOES NOT have those two words! Since this is factual and true; how can anyone who knows this say that the KJV is the “perfect word of God?” Knowingly they can't. Unless they refuse to of course. But there are some people who refuse to be taught the truth! But be advised that I love the KJV! I think its a wonderful version. But, like all the other English translations, it's not "perfect." No translation is! But there are some who will hold their KJV above and in higher authority than the original languages. And that's just so sad. Why would King James leave this out, when all those other's do have it? He must have had a reason.

The first printing 1611 He Bible is the correct one. Hendrickson and Oxford University press are the only 2 publishers left that have authentic AV1611 Bibles available. The Hendrickson especially is dirt cheap.
So you think God is not omniscient and he doesn’t know how to translate his word perfectly into a language? And to answer you, the 1769 Bible is the correct Bible. The Bible is 66 books that agree with each other. Therefore the 1611 is not the right Bible because it has the heretical apocrypha in there, and includes plenty of errors, one being Ezekiel 24:7
Where's the "argument?" This man is presenting information regarding the English scriptures and specifically the kjv. No argument. Check it out, and either take it or leave it. No problem.

#1 it's not a "baptist bible". It involved Baptists, Lutherans, and Presbyterians and even Roman Catholic Jesuits. Even being "Baptist" doesn't mean much anymore. Many evangelical churches and seminaries have been infected with liberalism.
CSB is from NA/USB and is in cooperation with the Roman Catholic church and the Vatican specifically. The CSB also lists female "Bible teachers" among those who endorse it. So they take endorsements from people who are specifically forbidden by scripture from teaching the church.

I don't understand these people who keep criticising the different Texts around by saying what they have is the best "Text" and the others are wrong. What is preventing these knowledgeable guys sitting around and coming to a consensus. These useless debates and discussion give rise to a belief that the Bible is corrupted and not reliable. All that is put on the web is available to both Christians and non-Christians , the knowledgeable people and also the biblical illiterate. These videos are a bad testimony and hampers the work of those trying to save the souls of people. It will be good if they keep the discussions to themselves as it does no good publishing it on the web. Try to sit around and produce a Text that will not be criticised.

They also left out the Apocrypha, it was in there also & still is in the Catholic Bibles (Douray Rhymes). I am not Catholic, but have looked into a little study recently. It was printed 30 years prior to KJV & is said to be where KJV got a lot of scriptures from it.

There is only one baptism in the Gospel of Grace Romans thru Philemon and thats the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Any other baptism is a waste of time and a slap in the face of Jesus Christ.
