As a regular Joe, I realized the importance of protein intake about 35 years ago from reading various nutrition books and articles. Unfortunately I believed much of the low fat high carb (via whole grain, veg, fruit) that the FDA heavily promoted in the 80's and onward. In recent years I've been back to LCHF/HP eating. In this video Dr. Lyon totally reaffirmed everything I learned 35-ish years ago.; not only about protein intake but about the vital importance of muscle building and how maintaining mass as the key to preserving a better way of living as you age.
Great interview. Was really glad to see that you didn't fall into the trap of interrupting Dr. Lyon so that you would look intelligent. So many people do that and it's awful. You asked the right questions and let her talk. Way to go ! Brava !

Like that saying health begins in the mind. Enjoyed this podcast and what Iv gained from this is looking at all the positives on a happy n healthy life.
Interesting on many levels. One being the presenters. One with low level make-up, no Botox, no fillers, fit and healthy. Another made-up, botoxed, and low body mass. Keep going Julie!
