I saw her on Impact Theory some time ago. I have since started incorporating using hemp protein with my Kodiak Cakes oatmeal and I have to say I am feeling better and stronger. I just noticed yesterday that I could really feel my triceps activating like they haven't since I was probably in highschool. I've been under-proteined for a set of decades at this point for the amount of physical activity I do.

believe in eating smaller meals more often throughout the day to keep the metabolism going. Don’t deprive yourself, just make better choices. At 50 years old it is definitely a lot harder to stay in shape than it was when I was in my 20’s.

I was diagnosed with Vitamin C deficiency. So as far as I understand it improves the absorption of iron that is poorly absorbed, such as iron from meat-free sources. It may also reduce the risk of iron deficiency and it helped me a lot .

She called vegans weak. I appreciate everything she says until I got to that point. Plant based athletes are powerful and strong and I am one of them. MDs should stay in their own lane when it comes to nutrition. They only have a few hours of education during med school. Nope. I have been plant based for OVER three years and I do pull-ups with 45lb plates, squat 155lbs. So she is WRONG with plant based. AND I AM OVER 50!
