Dr. Glassman (Richard Schiff) talks to Dr. Lim (Christina Chang) about his first solo surgery and realizing that it might be time for him to put down his knife. Watch 'The Good Doctor' MONDAYS 10/9c on ABC and Stream on Hulu.
Glassy is your quintessential workaholic, he loves his job. I understand his anger towards Shaun but perhaps retirement is what he needs so he can spend his golden years with his grandson and family.
Retirement is a curse for people especially men, unlike women men get a great deal of satisfaction from working long hours and most men that retire go back to work years later
Believe me, he is PISSED OFF at Shaun for humiliating him! Where the hell does HE get off saying Glassman is incompetent?!? I bet most of the people at that hospital Believe Shaun only gets to work there because he threatened to sue! Shaun is definitely the incompetent one!
@@turtle_time5011 remember when he was so focused on Glassman's cancer that he ended up killing a patient? remember when he focused on that stupid flickering light during the quarantine and ended up in a fetal position on the floor in front of other people?!?! remember when he broke down while performing surgery? remember when he asked the nurse to leave the operating room because she didn't hold the damn clamp the way he wanted?!?!? It's basically a pot calling the kettle black situation
Your wrong Shaun did the right thing he was trying to protect everyone. Dr. Glassman and the patients because of the operation and someone does it will be on him for letting Dr. Glassman operates when he knows something was wrong and Dr glassman doesn't want to admit the truth.
@@jankemzkas Do you understand what happened? Shaun warned him several times that he has a problem. He denied several times his problem and Shaun's warnings. Shaun warned his boss about the problem, the boss proposed cognitive tests before letting G do neurosurgeries again. G refused ALL of it, wents bigger and threatened to sue Lim and the hospital. And now, in surgery, G's problem was exposed in public, before his subordinates and Lim. Glassman has dug his own grave, a master work.
The character of Shoun is selfish. If he needs something, there is no way to make him waited but from the very beginning he never tries to understand glassman . Glassman always faces his problems alone or with lea .
That is NOT true! Shaun did everything for dr. Glassman when he had cancer. He saved his life, he was an amazing friend even when Dr. Glassmann was impossible.
I think Shaun was completely out of line reporting Dr. Glassman the way he did. He should have tried to work it out with him, which he didn't do. I don't blame Glassman if he never speaks to Shaun again after everything he has done for him. He didn't even give him the chance to come to his own conclusion he couldn't do surgery anymore. Shaun is really becoming annoying
He has try to work it out for months Many times Glassman didnt listen This isnt the first time he has worry Shaun about this issues But glassman was too sturborn
@@laurafabianmarrero I'm beginning to agree with you. The season finale was something to be desired. Losing another Dr. tells me that the show is not going to be around after the coming season. I really think the the past season was it for me
@@blooop7334 I never said it wasn’t a big role. I said it’s a poorly written one. Where’s the relief with this character? It’s always seems like he has one foot out the door. The way we saw him earlier this season seemed like the perfect opening on his road to retirement and settling down only for it to be erased in one episode.
