I've been in a friendship with a Mormon friend in America for approximately two and a half years and finally felt lead to send him this link. I would love some prayer because I know he will eventually respond.

Please Pray for the Mormons, they are very good people, just lost.🙏♥️ Let us not give up on each other, instead let us pray & serve one another, as Jesus would do. The fundamental theological differences between Christianity and Mormonism is a huge gap. The fact that there are people outside of the Mormon Temple willing to talk about the true Christ and the true God the God of Abraham the God Isaac and the God of David is such a true gift!

I was approached recently by Mormon missionaries and the message they gave to me was more of a purpose of personal fulfillment. sort of like the prosperity gospel.

Having awoken to the God of the Bible and been out of Mormonism for over a year I agree that the God of mormonism and the Jesus they proclaim are replicas of the real ones. Having 6 of my 9 other sibs who are believers of the LDS church, I do put in my respectful filter when with them as of course because I love them. I will always be respectful to the young missionary Elders and Sisters as they do not know any different. I believe showing the love of Christ and respect to them is the only way to getting through with truth, though it would be hard for them to accept.

Fallen man is not simply an imperfect creature who needs improvement as the Mormons believe...we are rebels who must lay down our arms and surrender, to start from the ground up... we need to unlearn all of the self conceit and self will, that that we have been training ourselves for thousands of years!!...it really means killing part of yourself and undergoing a kind of death to become reborn into a new man in Christ...

I been watching for weeks since I had Mormons pay me a visit and giving me a book of Mormon. Idk where I read this but I thought I remember reading that Jesus said religion and church are not effective ways to get to the Father. Can someone clarify for me. I'm not part of any religion or church, but I read my bible,pray, and repent. I feel like I'm neglecting my bible when I read the book of Mormon.

I would say to read a Bible in the venacular, then utilizing that knowledge go find a church that has a belief statement that reflects the Bible's teachings. Also, hold the church accountable to what they say they believe. If they don't, leave...BTW, my husband, said he never read the Bible before going on an LDS mission. They are trained to refer to "key" Bible verses that they claim refer to their teachings in their other books. If they say they believe in what other Christian churches believe, they don't. One big belief difference (and it's a major one) is they don't believe in the same Jesus who is the I Am, per Jesus himself in John 8:58 NKJV: Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

It was great that James White explaining that the jesus of mormonism is another jesus and that the Bible is the only revelation from the True God. I wish James White was this consistent and straight forward with Muslims!

Love these brothers but IDK why James brings up the polygamous argument as a reference to "God has changed". Our own positions on that particular matter has changed several times. Outside of that, I think it's a really great discussion!

A true Christian a real true born again Christian would say you need the word of God and the holy spirit. Once born of the holy spirit and made a new creature . He wouldn't say you need the right man. Yes a good preacher speaking the truth of God perfect wisdom will certainly help. But your end goal as a Christian should be to get them in the word of God so the living waters can circumcise their heart. You're goal as a Christian should be to plant the seed and guide them to the living waters and the holy spirit will do his work. Bear your cross daily and follow Jesus. Means you must deny yourself and separate from the world and tell them the truth of Gods word regardless if it means you get assaulted or murdered because you know you live for eternity with Jesus Christ. You give up your life to Jesus Christ who paid for your soul when he died on the cross. So you give up your life for his sake to save souls. You're a servant bond for the lord Jesus Christ. You know this physical life is just a shadow of the real thing. You don't make the word of God fit the world or what you have already been taught like you're doing. You try to make the word of God fit science when in reality science you see today is pure evil and from Satan. The bible doesn't support anything to do with the heliocentric model. The heliocentric model is a religion of sun worshiping. Reality and bible says the earth is fixed and the heavens revolve around it. But the sun worshipers such as this false preacher believes the earth is a spinning ball revolving around the sun. It's the opposite of what God teaches. God teach a fixed earth that's immovable and has four corners and a firmament that shows his handy work. The heliocentric model teaches the earth itself is spinning 1,000 mph at the equator and the earth is going around the sun at 66,600 and the sun is flying through space at 666,000 mph. Where is all this in the bible and where do you get your authority to say the bible supports this? Stop making the word of God fit what you have already learned. Cry out to the lord for forgiveness and allow the transformation to happen and be born again. The word of God 100% doesn't support the heliocentric model and would say the heliocentric model is an abomination of God. You need to stop being friends with the world you look like the world you dress and sound like the world. How will Jesus Christ not just think you're one with the world when he says "Ye be separate from the world."

Love Dr. White's comment about the God who does not change. Mormonism is just glorified atheism - an infinite stack of gods. There is no peace and no comfort in a God Who is not eternal, One you cannot trust to truly be sovereign, to truly be perfect and loving and holy.

After Christ Ascension the church was established when his followers were baptized with the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues as the spirit gave the utterance (Acts1:4-9;2:1-4). Matthew John and the other apostles were all present on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was first given they are all witnesses to Peter's marvelous matches and supported him as he open the door salvation(Acts2:14) when the Jews who are gathered at the temple in Jerusalem for the Festival of Pentecost cried out under the conviction of sins," men and brethren what shall we do?" No one just buted his answer or his authority to give it. Repentance was accepted as essential to entering the kingdom. Moreover the formula Peter Gade for water baptism was not controversial for the apostles understood the identity of Jesus as the one God manifested In the Flesh(Colossians2:9;1Timothy3:16) Therefore there was no argument when Peter commanded water baptism to be administered in the name of Jesus Christ. Finally the promise of the Holy Ghost was not new since Jesus said that all who believe on him would receive the spirit(John7:39) Peter use the same keys to open the door of Salvation to the Gentiles (Acts10) and they received the same experience that the disciples did on the day of Pentecost(Acts2). moreover the same keys were used and proclaiming the message of Salvation to the Samaritans they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus and filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts8) a few years later the Apostle Paul Reed baptized the Disciples of John the Baptist in The Wonderful Name of Jesus and they to receive the spirit and spoke in tongues(Acts19) the Epistles contain instructions to various churches such as the church is at Corinth and Ephesus and two individuals such as Timothy and Titus there written to instruct people who had already entered the door of salvation. the book of Acts records the founding of many of these churches to which these letters were written and the Epistles frequently referred to a reader's prior repentance baptism in Jesus name and baptism of the Holy Spirit(Romans6:1-4;Galatians3:2. Calvinist and Protestants are by going first to the Epistles in virtually ignoring the book of Acts with a plan and experience of Salvation is recorded.Got blood? (10) Darkness is inflicted upon us only by those more intelligent, for only they can fool you, and only they have the deadly force needed to enslave you. Surely, for all those less intelligent live in fear of you. For every aspect of society, all the laws, rules and regulations that govern society, they are all designed to give us the deadly force we need to control those less intelligent. (11) Darkness is always backed up by deadly force, for no one will attempt to enrich themselves upon your misery unless they have the power to kill you - if vengeance should be the reaction of you. (12) Light exists in a realm where everything is absolute good or absolute evil. For this is what light is all about, as never is there a mixture of good and evil, and always is it possible to tell good from evil. (17) No honest person will ask you to trust them, no honest God will ever ask you to trust him and no honest government will ask you to trust it. For perfect love forbids all trust, as trust enables liars to lock you in darkness, and darkness is the root cause of all the corruption on earth.

I am a witness that Jesus Christ does live and he has left us his teachings found in The Book of Mormon, The Holy Bible, The Doctrine and Covenants and The Pearl of Great Price. The Bible is wonderful but there is more to understand and practice if we are to come unto Christ and be perfected in him, after all, he is the way the light and life. (Moroni 10:32, John 14:6)

This is the name of Satan, which has been removed. The Word “JEHOVAH”, is written in the Wycliffe, Tyndale, Geneva and KJV, and removed from ALL versions written after 1960, including the NKJV. (JEHOVAH is a name prophesied forward to the New Testament, who is Jesus, read Exodus 6:3, Psalms 83:18, Isaiah 12:2 & Isaiah 26:4, this will interpret the word Jesus in the NT, your everlasting strength and your song, God almighty over all the earth (Revelation 1:8, written in ref, Jesus speaking, he is the Almighty) , your salvation -SAVIOUR. JEHOVAH is written in all caps. If you remove all vowels from JEHOVAH (there are no vowels in Hebrew), you will have JHVH, the 4 letter Hebrew word for God! And all modern day versions have removed “JEHOVAH”. Look at Revelation 22:14 the word “commandments” has been removed and replaced with “wash you robes”. The instruction in Revelation 22:18,19 says we are not to add or remove from the prophesy of this book, and that is exactly what has happened in (Modern day versions). WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT? Because in all versions there are instructions and through a process of elimination we can remove false (manmade versions). Selling Bibles makes a fortune. All versions which have removed the Titles of God are counterfeit versions, IF YOU FOLLOW GOD’S INSTRUCTIONS! That eliminated all versions written after 1960 as true translation. BAM! All versions published after 1960 follow the Wycliffe, Catholic version translated from Latin. They follow a man’s exalting tradition of John Calvin. A true Christian trusts God to perfectly convey His Word and that His Word is true. A true Christian doesn’t need to add "kinds" or "types" at the end of sentences that disagree with Calvinist theology. A true Christian doesn’t need to declare God has a secret will that contradicts scripture to uphold Reformed theology. This is the difference between the Bible believer and the Calvinist. One of the main points of Calvinism is that the elect were predestined to be saved prior to them believing. This would mean that salvation is secured outside of Christ! So how can a Calvinist who's totally depraved be assured of salvation without relying on totally depraved faculties. A Calvinist say they are no longer totally depraved. Ok well how do you know? The faculties that were at least once totally depraved testify to your new heart? OK how do you know your totally depraved heart isn't deceiving you? The Mormon is deceived. Why aren't you? Because of the good things you do? That's human experience that must be processed by a totally depraved heart with no way of knowing if your heart is changed unless your totally depraved heart tells you it's new. So how does the totally depraved individual know Christ died for him and he's therefore been unconditionally elected without having to rely on human experience processed with a heart and mind that are totally depraved? If you lock a person who has never known God or religion in a room with a KJV or NLT Bible and they desired God so they read cover to cover or even Matthew to Revelation over and over again that person 100% of the time is walking out that room a Born Again Bible Believing Disciple and Follower of the LORD Jesus Christ. Dr. James White, I understand you like to try to prove us Latter-day Saints wrong. You will not be able to do that as Protestants, Sectarians, etc. know only bits and pieces of the Gospel. I hope you will read closely the words of the Prophet Ezekiel in Ezekiel 37 where he speaks about there being TWO Sticks: the Stick of Judah (the Bible) and the Stick of Joseph. Protestants and Sectarians have no idea what the Stick of Joseph is. We Latter-day Saints know exactly what it is. It is the Book of Mormon, which was written by Prophets of God living on the American Continent between 600 B. C. to 421 A.D. Protestants and Sectarians have no idea who Jesus Christ was speaking about when He spoke about His “other sheep.” The Savior was referring to the people then living on the American Continent. In 34 A. D., the Resurrected Savior visited His “other sheep” on the American Continent, performing miracles, blessing the children, examining and APPROVING their Sacred Record, the Book of Mormon. He also ordained Twelve Special Nephite Disciples, three of whom are still walking on the earth.

Human prophets are not perfect. Moses never entered the Promised Land. Jonah had to endure three days in the belly of a whale. They have both personal opinions and at times revelations when inspired by the Holy Ghost. The LDS Church has an orderly process to document revelations. The Prophet counsels with the counselors in the First Presidency about revelations received. Those are presented to the Quorum of Twelve Apostles for consideration/sustaining. Once unanimously sustained by the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve, the revelation is submitted to the general membership of the LDS Church for their sustaining. The new revelation is then printed in the Doctrine & Covenants of the LDS Church. Personal Journals of the leaders of the LDS Church are not considered doctrine unless they quote doctrine contained in the Standard Works.

I am so glad we have a prophet alive today. If we had to rely on our own interpretation of a compilation of stories and letters written thousands of years ago and copied/translated countless times and eventually compiled into a book and that book was somehow all we could ever receive from God, I'd be depressed and wish I could have lived in a time when God still loved us enough to talk to us through His prophets like Moses, Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, Isaiah, etc. Thankfully God is unchanging. If you seek the truth about God, go to Him in humble prayer. He will answer your sincere prayers. For those who prefer to utilize the Bible as the only source of truth and rely on their own understanding, I simply hope that one day you will become curious enough to humble yourself and ask the God who is the source of all truth, not just the book compiled by man that you claim holds all truth.
