I do use an energy limiter in my Mini Hydros at 21Wh. I don't think 8.9g is too bad, I will get one to try out for sure, thanks for the suggestion and link. While I don't have machine tools, I will be taking a file to it with the aim of taking a couple of grams off it and making it sit a little lower. Just a couple of minor corrections, Naviga +Mini Mono and Mini Hydro classes are max 450mm not 495mm, and while maybe not as big as in Europe Naviga is pretty big in Asia, China dominate the submerged drive speed and steering classes with their professional drivers and university training.
