Cool. An effective treatment the overwhelming majority of us will never have access to because insurance definitely isnt going to cover this and most of us wont be able to afford it out of pocket either

I agree. I did this for my daughter at the Newport location when she was 3 1/2. I saw a slight improvement. You have to do it for about 6 weeks minimum for it o be effective from what I remember. We had to save up for it. Not only for the treatment, but for the AirBnB as well because are not from that area. My wife had to request a leave from work and luckily I was able to work remote while being out there. The entire cost was around 15-17k (all expenses), not including wife missing work. I wish insurance would cover and/or they made it more affordable for us to get treatment.

MeRT and Hbot seem the most promising. Even if not cured any improvement will improve life.

So it seems like the disorganised brain waves are likely to be caused by anxiety /hypervigilance state based on the neuro-conditions MeRT is treating. It also would explain how it feels internally as an autistic person, like my conciousness is having to gain control from other areas of the brain. Essentially sounds like MeRT is attempting to reduce and stabilise the anxiety response which we could get stuck in due to being in that heighten state of alertness for so long. Does that sound accurate?

waitaminute. at 03:15 it says peak prevalence at 8 years old? Does this mean that the children are _getting better_? Or does it mean that's when they start learning to mask?

Since every brain is unique, it depends on the individual. However, we recommend between 4-8 weeks of treatment.
