This should be a heritage site that should be treasured and use as a museum. This can raise a billion for the community and the nation. Sometimes, we are our own problem

Abandoned is the word, not rejected. As an African of Kenyan origin I feel so offended when I hear people use words recklessly in reference to a great Pan African leader like Kwame Nkrumah.

Ghanaians should visit Tanzania to learn how we respect our Pan African leader Mwalimu Nyerere we have good museum which attract both external and internal tourist. It very small investment they Government of Ghana need to do for the respect of their first leader of the nation. This is unbelievable when we are here in Ghana. What comes into the mind of every Namibian is Kwame Nkrumah. This is sad and I can't believe even President Nana let this pan-African warrior legacy rot like that. The government can turn this into an entire African museum and they have such power. Now I understand why some Ghanaian "BOTSOTSO" overthrow this earth-strong son of Ghana and the entire continent of our ancestors.

Eiiii Kwame Nkrumah. The thickness of the walls tells you something about the Man. It’s quality is just that of the Agricultural Research place in Amasaman, just like the construction of Kponge constructions, just like many of the old constructions you see in some parts of Accra central, in Nsawam, etc etc etc. I live her in the US and anytime I come to Ghana and travel around Ghana and see the finger of Kwame, l what l have seen and my heart ❤️ ache’s. Like Peduase and Akuse lodges, the uncompleted Half Assini lodge would have been a state property. Nkrumah owed no private property. Nkrumah's Will did not mention any such property or properties. Samia, Francis, Gamal and Sekou know that their father did not own any properties which could have been bequeathed to them. The Labone property built for Nkrumah's wife, Fathia, by Kutu Acheampong, remains a government property as the children have not been given title deed, to the best of my knowledge.

He never built a house for himself, someone else did in honor of him, but he refused this gift, and never stepped foot in this house.

I support Kennedy Agyepong to become President only because of his vision to promote tourism as a means of making money as Dubai has done. Why has the present Ghanain government completely neglected such a national heritage.In my opinion this is unthinkable and a shame to Ghana in particular and Africa in general.Just imagine what Kwame Nkrumah did for Ghana and Africa.Is this the way the current Ghanain government is honouring its first president? This really goes to show that Nana Addo has no vision and no better thoughts about the well being of Ghana. This house of Kwame Nkrumah if it had been renovated and put on show would bring more tourist to the Country then anyone will ever come to Ghana to see a big building called National Cathedral. When one travels to see Cathedrals there are so many nicer better looking historical Cathedrals in the World than that unwanted building that someone just thought of building as a means to chop money. Let us all be honest, if any individual in his privacy makes a pledge to God who is expected to honor that pledge? Is it not that same person? So why should this building involve the whole Country and tax payers money. The whole thing is a scam supported by partners in crime who are some greedy Pastors. If that build belong to the country founder, then that country leaders are not people's any citizens to put trust and hope on them. The country founder political party been into power for years.. Because that building can generate revenue from tourism.

We have been to Half-Asini several times to organise Jehova's witnesses conventions but no mention was made of this area. We were allowed to see his remains in Nkroful. (Four questions;) 1) Where was this place when Nkruma died? 2) Why was he buried in Nkroful his home town instead of this place? 3) Why did Acheampong built a living place for his mum? 4) Who is stopping his family from taking over his property? What tourist attraction? dilapidated shell. When he was alive, the domestic support was minimum. Ghana hardly comprehend the messages Nkrumah was advocating. There was disdain for Pan Africanism at home, when social education of the concept was missing except outside the continent. Prominent advocates of Pan Africanism had embraces the cultural norms, the education of Africans at home to gain philosophical growth of the ideals. The concept gained the negative effects. The neo colonial medias, past and presents, the elites, the customary chief barely understand what Nkrumah was advocating. Pan Africanist continues to be lone wolves. Shouting out the ideals , is accosted with disdains, and misrepresentation. The most important legacy and discipline is how to evolve ideas to realisations. No one is talking about the aspirations of the masses, hunger, housing, health care, road infra-structures. The malaise and failures is why Pan African never takes roots with the masses. The old mistakes from inception seems to be the prevalent today. Let his spirits rest in peace.
