Reading the book, I can safely say he is even bigger of a chad then people realize, not only is he cool under pressure, takes command after the commander gets injured, he also follows the Hippocratic oath, helping the pirates who want him dead. Fucking Chad.

From what i watched, Dr. Livesey isn't egotistical at all and in fact informs the pirates of how rum and smoking is bad for their health. He also catches a live bomb

I like how in the cartoon he expresses that they're at a disadvantage because there's 4 of them and 19 of the pirates, before proceeding to fold 3 of them single-handedly with not only no effort, but aplomb and glee. Edit: I've also just noticed that he has the sword in his right hand, before switching to his left hand. He chooses to use his non-dominant hand.

For the "Do you like how my face disintegrates into chalk" line, I would have personally used that one shot of Dr. Livesey's character introduction. The one that's in black and white and describes his personality. That shot is actually much more menacing. But other than that, this is a quality meme

I watched the old soviet movie and it's like a fever dream. There are these 1984-esque live action (sometimes musical) sequences that remind you to excersise and not to drink, smoke, gamble, or just do any of the things shown in the animations. By the way, the animations are way too good. There are these 3D scenes animated in 2D. Also just the fact its from the 80s.
