Honestly this isn’t far off from the mark even in the games. Canonically, Simon was the hulk of the Belmont clan, an overwhelmingly physically strong juggernaut who wasn’t particularly bright and who killed Drac not once but twice with the awesome ancient technique, “hitting him extremely hard over and over.” Spells? Acrobatics? Nonsense, Simon has no need of such things when he can simply bulldoze his way through the castle with the power of his mighty forehead. I mean seriously, the guy gets a Death Curse and his reaction is basically “Ah heck. This sucks. I wonder if I can punch my way out of it” and the answer, as it turned out, was a resounding yes.

Objectively the best Belmont.
