I noticed that it was while Karen was singing that Dr. Mattie Moss Clark got up out of her seat after moving them mic chords for Karen so Karen wouldn't fall, then she slowly walks behind Twinkie and touches Twinkie on the back as she is going to direct the choir. Dr. Mattie Moss Clark taught us one big lesson in this, she maintained the dignity of her daughters, the service, and the entire Church of GOd in Christ in that moment.
When The Anointing touched Dr. Mattie Clark she jumped right out of her seat and left her cane standing next to Twinkie! Awesome to witness!!! Powerful!

I'm absolutely in awe! I loved every bit of this video but was truly blessed by Dr. Mattie & Dr. Dorinda's worship. I can do without all the riffs and runs sometimes but this was truly awesome; Twinkie, Karen, Daryl, Dr. Betty and all. I miss this type of worship today. There's lots of originality and less competition.
Dr. mattie moss clark did a job well done with those daughters of her's and so many more. Now that's the way it's suppose to be for the child of God. They do rest from their labors but they're works still follow them. What a BLESSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe this is the closes we can get to God without a near death experience or actually dying when we hear creative /angelic voices like this with our lovely Clark Sisters & Mom Mattie, etc. This type of praise is what the old saints called "TOTAL PRIASE" WHEN YOU CALL ON HIM AND YOU FEEL THE ANSWER IN YOUR SOUL before you see it with your eyes. I think hearing her daughter sing gave Momma Mattie the strength to get up an direct that choir. All she needed was that boost. But they said on Unsung that even with her leg amputated Mattie still kept doing God's work up until she was bed ritten. That's how strong her faith was. She was not going to let the word of God be missed out on by those who needed to hear it most. If God is in you its gonna show out be it through sickness, health, good times or bad, you'll still give him the glory.

I been looking for this video for the last momth or so!!! Twinkie SHUT that organ down!!! SO MICH COMPASSION in this video!!!! Mattie looking on as Twinkie did her solo.. Twinkie's face at Betty's high note.. And ESPECIALLY Karen!! MY GOD!! And To those saying Karen had a fight with her husband.. I believe Dorinda and especially Karen sung with TRUE compassion and the evident (inner) pain of seeing their mother's complicated diabetic-related long suffering in her last days..

It baffles me how many say Karen is a spin off of other singers when as a singer myself I've never heard another singer do the vocal acrobats that Karen does! ALL singers gather techniques from others great singers. But the root of their unique sound makes them individually special! That includes Twinkie, Dorinda, Vanessa, Betty, Kim, Lashaun, Ella, Yolanda, Aretha, Patti, Anita..etc! Each has a unique styling that the other can't do. But has a connection that allows them to utilize the others abilities. So many try to take from Karen by saying she is a derivative of others and the others are originals! I don't no one singer that can copy any of what she is doing in this video or when she cuts up! Even her echoes! Just give credit where it's due and enjoy! I am a fan of every lady I listed and love them as well as their annointed gifts! God bless them for guiding and encouraging us with their songs!

this never gets old to me. The power of God!!! I have been watching this for years and every time, I can never watch once. This family (Clarks) paved the way for music then and now. I love them for never compromising and standing firm footed in the face of everything. I'm sure Dr. Clark is smiling from Glory.
Convocation is a different enviornement nowadays. Lately it has been really spiritual. But you have to remember that the Convocatio is the Presiding Bishop's business meeting and annaul address to the church. My advice, take everything spirtual out of it (the prayer room, alter services, the Word) and do with the rest what you will.

I known about The Clark Sister’s but my friend sent me this video and put me on to Bettye Ranson Nelson voice and that woman is a beast. She have them crystal clear notes, then can switch up and give you a nasty growl or run! He voice is beautiful!

Idk what it was but it was annoiting in the air! You could it feeling moving all around! The Holy Ghost was there that night Amen! People talking about too much runs but that’s how they express themselves, it’s like speaking tongues but singing, Twinkie ministers through playing the piano, her fingers are blessed by the grace of God, Dorinda is blessed with ministry just like her mama telling people about the word of God, Jackie is blessed with healing being in a medical profession she helps people feel better and nursing them back to health, Denise isn’t a black sheep she just felt like she was trapped under her mom that there wasn’t anything for her except to sing for God, Their mom was a push over and she admitted that but that was because she was pushing her own fears into her children. She knew they were gonna be great but also she wanted them to be great in the house of the Lord, healing people with their voices and ministering like she did. She was hard on them yes but it was for a reason and this is why, The Clark Sisters are legends for their musicality, their harmonies, and their incredible voices, Even Denise is still singing and she’s getting her kids to sing too, I grew up on the The Clark Sisters my mom played all of their songs everyday and they are my idols, This is why I started to sing because they were so different then regular gospel groups, they found a way to blend secular music with gospel but still taught God through it, that’s incredibly hard to do but they did it and I’m thankful for that, I’m only 19 and I’ve been abuse, neglect, my parents died and I was adopted with my sister, I was bullied, and the song I first heard from them was Name it and Claim it, I never knew why I was going through so much at a young age, I was angry at God and everyone around me until i heard that song and it was like God spoke to me, telling me that whatever I go through is for a greater blessing, he has to put us through just to get us out! And everyday I thank God for those hardships that I went through and I’m still going through with myself but I’m not angry anymore😊

Regardless how you feel about someone with or without riffs and runs all I could hear in this video was the anointing. There are a lot of people that be making noise but this the kind I like and it really blesses my soul. I would never expect Karen to touch a mic and just “sing” she going to tear it up every time. Just saying when there is anointing behind it, it’s always Marvelous.
