You couldn't have expressed that. No clearer. No better than fat. You said. I said the same thing. I never realized how much Jackie is needed in the group. She's like the center. Her voice round out the whole group. Love them all. Just as solo, they sound like a choir by themselves. That's hard to do..
Couldn’t agree more more, doc. ❤💪🏽 Can also appreciate how she’s managed to keep that voice-box intact, down through the yrs. She learned how to Pull back and become more strategic (goes FULL-throttle only when NECESSARY).
Glory be to God!!!! This truly blessed my soul. I love The Clark Sisters, grew up with them. And I love Joan Rivers (RIP) I was here back in 1991, struggling horribly in NYC as a student. But God is so faithful, for today I am wealthy. xoxo I love you, Lord.
@@swisschoklate736lol you must be can’t hear well bubs. She doesn’t sing she SANGS. She has a beautiful warm and light tone but she has very bad nerves when singing because of Individuals like you.
@@jadairm6318 Kayla used to sing back ground for them in the last 89s and early 90s and then pam and j moss started doing bgv for them. She mainly sings tenor when doing background for them. Jacky didn’t start singing tenor for the group until the 2000s. Dorinda would mainly doing the switching between soprano alto and tenor and then mainly singing tenor when it was just the 3 of them.
This was nice, and to people in that time really rejoicing to the sounds of God in that time is great. Life was so different then and differs from today.
Wow! Who uploaded this?????? May you be BLESSED in your coming out, going in and all the days of your life! Please NEVER take down! Thank you so much!❤
And see why ya'll need to leave JACKIE ALONE?! Don't sleep on her! You have to understand JACKIE KEEPS THAT BOTTOM SO SMOOTH AND RICH it allows Dorinda, Twink and Karen TO BE YOUR "FAVORITES."
That was actually a singer named Kayla Parker singing the bottom. She sued to sing back ground for them from the late 80s to early 90s before J moss and Pam Taylor starting singing background for them. Jacky was singing alto. She didn’t start to sing the bottom note till the 2000s. Dorinda used to mainly do most of the switching between tenor and soprano when Twinkie would lead and when she left the group.
@@reggiemitchell5198 OK I guess JACKIE was just standing there pretending to sing then. God rest the soul of KAYLA PARKER who was great too and I still say DON'T SLEEP ON JACKIE who has been singing the bottom for some 35+ years now.
@@malikfirst64 Jacky was singing alto…no one is saying she wasn’t singing you can clearly hear her sing the first verse. Then after Karen starts singing lead you still hear 3 part harmony…Jacky was singing alto the entire time and she mainly sang alto bsck in the day and doomed would witch from tenor to alto to soprano and sang tenor when Twinkie left the group and even still when Twinkie was in the group (You Brought The Sunshine Dorinda would sing bottom)
It’s so wild to think at this time they were already music icons and many of us weren’t even thought about. Yet, here we are 30 years later and they are still active and producing new material. This type of career is practically unheard of across all genres.
OMGGGG I grew up listening to them!!! ohhh the memories!! I LOVE that they didnt shy away from who they are in front of the camera and them white folk lol
I love me some Clark Sisters! Sing Jacky! Sing Dorinda! Sing Karen! Talent is sho nuff being showcased from each of you in this song. Ya'll did that thang! Glory to God!!!!!!
