Voltage deviation can easily be calibrated. If you open housing and look from the back onto the front panel, the very left blue Potentiometer can be used to make the display Match aktualisiert voltage.
Stumped! I'm trying to top balance some new LiFePO4 cells using its constant voltage mode. Directions tell me to turn the amp knobs clockwise all the way, then set it to my desired voltage (3.65v in my case), then connect the battery to the terminals. As soon as i do that, it reverts to the constant current mode. Any idea how to keep this in constant current mode?? Any help would be much appreciated. thanks for the video!
I believe it will push constant current (about 5 amps) at 3.65 volts until your cells start climbing the voltage curve towards full. As the cells near fully charged you will see the current start dropping off, the voltage will stay constant (it should automatically switch to CV) and the current will eventually go to zero or near zero. I used this to top balance eight - 280 amp/hr cells connected in parallel. This will take a very long time depending on the state of charge of the cells when starting out. Remember LiFePO4 cells have a very linear voltage curve. When I received my cells they all measured around 3.2 volts. To get mine to all reach 3.65 volts connected in parallel and the voltage to drop to .01 amp took over 15 days. Hope this helps.
Ich hab gesehen/gelesen, um constant current einzustellen kann man + / - am gerät kurzschliessen, volt voll aufdrehen und dann langsam ampere einstellen. Gerät ausschalten und dann erst den circuit anschliessen. "Das gerät kurzschliessen" da gehen bei mir alarmglocken an..aber es scheint wohl eine wirkliche vorgehensweise zu sein. Is da was dran? Ist es gerät abhängig? Explodiert dr meter dabei? Hehe. Das problem das ich mit dr.meter hab, is das die drehknöpfe schon sehr unresponsive sind..wie die warm wasser einstellung meiner dusche. Dreht man am ampere knopf nur leicht, schiesst man schnell mal übers ziel hinaus und verbrutzel empfindliche teile.
Das Gerät kurzschließen ist die tatsächliche Vorgehensweise. Keine Sorge, es explodiert nichts. Der hohe Stromfluss wird intern reguliert. Die Drehknöpfe sind nicht geeignet, um Werte präzise auf die letzte Kommastelle einzustellen. Es sind in der Umsetzung reine Potentiometer. Das Einstellen von Spannung sollte daher ohne anhängende Verbraucher erfolgen, um empfindliche Bauteile nicht zu zerstören.

Great review of the device! I need the dual channel output for having 3.3V and 5V voltage lines in my digital electronics project. Can I use USB as the second stable 5V output together with main adjustable channel set to 3.3V?
