My dad just went to be with the Lord at 92 . I have 8 hrothers 4 sister my dad had 3 jobs never on public aid or link . He wirk and took care of us. He only had 3rd grade education taught himself to read and write. Went to moody Bible institute graduated from bi ke school He was a real man never complained

First time ever in my believer-life to hear this type of message. A true man is the foundation of his family, holds everyone strong.

My dad had 15 of us, a 3rd grade education and was a Baptist preacher. He never left us and our lights and gas was never off. We had what we needed and some of what we wanted.

FACTS. A REAL MAN DOESNT HAVE TO SAY A WORD.

That was my dad! You could set your clock by him. Never missed a day of work. Came home and all he wanted was his family around him. I miss my father

My my my. Dr. Miles was on a whole other level. Here’s a story some might find interesting. About 2 months ago I started listening to Dr. Miles. And have been listening to his messages solidly since then. A voice in my head recalled his name from over a decade earlier when Ps TD JAKES mentioned his passing back in one of his sermons. Anyway, that was the one and only time o heard his name mentioned. And over a decade on his name, just out of the blue popped in my head. So I said yes Lord o will listen to his sermons. I understand that the baby Christian I was back in 2013 wouldn’t have been able to comprehend or appreciate Dr Miles message. But 10 years on, now is the season. Im so grateful for Dr Miles incredible teaching and so grateful for the mysterious yet wonderful ways in which our Father and His Kingdom work. Dr Miles has been such a powerful force in my life. Like he said. Men die, but ideas live on. Rest in peace dear Dr Miles

As a man, I'm not supposed to brag about performing my traditional gender role. I understand and concur. Christ didn't boast either during His three year earthly ministry as He went about performing miracles. However, to me, this sets the table for the man of the house and his vital contributions to go both ignored and unappreciated by his wife and children. The Bible refers to Christ as the "Chief Cornerstone." He is the foundation upon which the church rests. The church as His bride, we come to acknowledge, worship, and sing His praises at least once a week as a show of gratitude for His sacrifice. Therefore, wives and children should be encouraged to show gratitude and appreciation for the man who is head of household, but not necessarily in any formal or regimented fashion. Just remember he is human, too.

Meanwhile, in our American society, men are asking women what they're bringing to the table 🤦‍♀️

The man is the head God said so, so, if the man has to put the house on top of his shoulders, the house is placed on top of his head. Holding that house up requires STRENGTH, but he has to also use the wisdom Jesus gives him as well as understanding to carry that house.

The Husband (man) being the foundation of the family is true. That's what he who is the head of the family does, so the title needs to be changed because the man IS the head of the family. Ephesians 5: 23-24 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
