Looks delicious and much easier than the coke cola cake recipe I have! I’m mesmerized by the marshmallows in the cake itself! Definitely going to do this cake!

Hope you like it! It’ll still work well if you omit the marshmallows. They just give kind of a chewy-like crunch to it.

Can you actually taste the Dr. Pepper flavor or does it just taste like chocolate? It looks so yummy!

It doesn't have a strong Dr. Pepper taste. It's actually very faint...the chocolate just sort of takes over although I do think the Dr. Pepper enhances the flavor and adds sweetness. It's a really good cake, but if you want more of a Dr. Pepper taste, I'd add some flavoring to it. I think 'Get Suckered' has a Dr. Soda flavoring that's supposed to be similar.

For this cake, yes. But I do have other chocolate cakes on my channel that do not call for buttermilk.
