I love hearing him preach on music…I too played drums from a young age in all manner of dens of iniquity, surrounded by the lost, now I can hardly stand the sound of the music I once gloried in playing 😔 I still have my drums, and a 12-string electric guitar…but long gone is the desire to beat the drums maniacally in front of surging cheering crowds of lost people, now I loath the memories of all those shows I played, but I will gladly pick up the sticks for The Lord in His kingdom to play a march “Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power, are you washed in the blood of the Lamb”
There's nothing inherently wrong with instruments. It is how they are used and for what purpose. God says to play the drum for Him in scripture. Psalm 81:2 2 Start the music! Beat the drum! Play the sweet lyre and the lute!
The instruments of itself are neutral. Look not on any songs already existant, but the Psalms. Look not on what others make brother. Be yourself, God gave you the power to make music that is different, even with amplified guitars and drums.
@@adamlawrence3427 Seems that verse is only found in the CJB, Psalm or Tehillim 81. My search no way exhaustive, but I can't find the word drum in any part of KJB...nor any English Bible translations. I prefer to stick with the learned men of KJB translations completed 1611. Who is it that translated the Hebrew to English word drums? Someone who enjoys vibrations, drums and the automatic physical responses it produces. Who was originally created, with musical instruments as part of his body...to be music leader to glorify the Lord in heaven? At this time, the god of this world uses his wicked power to lead people to hell...and to make Christians ineffective. A popular way he's doing that is with music. There are more of Dr Ruckman's teachings on music that have more explanation, to be found on this channel.

I think it’s old sermons that he bought,most of them are probably 15-20 years old,if you want to get more of Peter ruckman’s sermon,you could buy it at bible baptist bookstore.
