Shashi Tharoor at his eloquent best. But kudos to the interviewer who voiced concerns of the Naga people especially the youth and asked mature questions in a balanced way.

It would have been far better for the INC and for India, if Shashi Tharoor had become the INC President. It is now for Kharge to make use of the competence and popularity of Shashi. The way the Raipur meetings of INC ended, it appears that the hold of the 'family' over the "thinking" of the Party will continue; the Party is likely to continue in the same old path
Dear Tharoor Sir I am commenting on the hope that you will not ignore my request. Please show mercy on me and give some reply to it. I don't know how far it is appropriate to ask this question to you. See, generally it is said that politics is the medium or approach to serve the people. But in today's scenario we are seeing that various wicked and corrupt people are involved in it. Renowned author and Nobel laureate George Bernard Shaw earlier said, "Politics is the final asylum for wicked people." Please do not think that I am generalising it. Since you are part of it. Loving in urban areas you people forget lots of thing about rural India. In rural India law and enforcement system is broken and if someone steal my cattle I am not going to report about it and file FIR and wait for agency to take action bce till then my cattle would be cut into pieces and eaten or sold in market or transported to somewhere else. So I as a rural indian only have one option go and search for myself and in this process lynching and killing happens. But of course political parties have to play their game. Ignorant of reality.
