I just tried the wood barrel bourbon deodorant from Dr. Squatch today. I think it smelled good and lasted all day but I have an office job so not a real stress test lol. Switched from old spice with aluminum. Hopefully these are healthier at least. I want to try the Phoenix Artisan soaps and deodorants you recommended next time.

Pine tar, birch wood, fresh fall are the best scents for me

Birchwood Breeze - smells fantastic (girlfriend loves it) but doesn't last. Fresh Falls - don't care for the scent (don't mind it tho) but for sure works well and lasts all day for me.

Doesn't matter what the soap smells like once you rinse the smell goes away. Deoderant gives off a stronger smell for longer time. I have to disagree. Fresh falls smells good. As does woodbarrel bourbon and Birchwood breeze.. again only issue the scents don't last long.. for the price I want to smell good all day. I give Dr squatch a 3 out of 10 only because of the price and the scent not lasting all day

6:17 For me, the Alpine Sage has been the best deodorant I've ever tried. Also, the majority of the scent for Alpine Sage seems to be Lavender. I can agree with the Fresh Falls, it smells un-natural. The Birchwood Breeze is acceptable, and the Bay Rum has possibly the best scent.

I actually have the alpine sage and I like the strength of the scent. My pits have a bad history with past deodorants, overpowering each one by the middle of the day. But this one has been keeping me covered. I might just check out what you recommended after it runs out though.

I have had real good experience with this deo, I always have had trouble with constant sweating no matter what deo Ive used!! This deo comtrols that very well ( pine tar, Beechwood breeze, wood barrel bourbon) tried so far beechwood my favorite

WHEN I FIRST STARTED USING IT I LOVED THE SMELL AND IT SEEMED TO LAST A DESCENT AMOUNT OF TIME BUT AFTER A MONTH THE SCENT DIED DOWN AND THE SOAP AND DEODORANT WORE OFF A LOT FASTER IM VERY ACTIVE HAVE PHYSICALLY DEMANDING JOB AND WORKOUT A LOT NEVER HAD A ISSUE WITH BODY ODOR BUT THESE SQUATCH SOAPS AND DEODORANTS DEFINITELY DONT LAST LONG AT ALL!

Spot on review! Dr Squatch customer service told me Fresh Falls is a limited edition. Which is probably why they seem to be running out. To me it has a almost baby-powdery scent to it. I'm the exact opposite I hate the bay rum deodorant thst smells like bubble gum and no spice or rum at all. The fresh falls smells like generic masculine musk or Irish spring soap but still better then bay rum. Love the birch soap and deodorant. Hope to smell better ones soon

Can't recommend it enough!

Doesn't work for me at all i switch from my old spice to the pine tar deodorant and my old spice works 1000 times better. The pine tar smelt good on me for maybe a few hours but doesn't even last me sleeping threw the night. It doesn't irritate my pits like old spice but doesn't keep me smelling good for too long. I feel kinda rip off by my experience

The title of this video is misleading. It should be titled "Are Dr. Squatch deodorant scents any good". I got the impression thinking this was going to be a review of it's effectiveness, and was sorely disappointed. Let's see a review on if it actually works and keeps you smelling good all day.

My thoughts on sasquatch, they are the starter pack to mens self grooming scents. You start off with them, after half a year you check out what else is out there. Not bad to start off, especially when on a budget, but when you increase your budget, you move on.

I'm not trying to disagree with everything your saying but I like Birchwood 2nd and fresh falls the best , they must have changed fragrance or something bc fresh falls smells wonderful another note is my armpits. This deo is the only thing that works for me so I might have sensitivity bc everything else I sweat soo much and have the yellow stains that's the only reason I will commit to squatchs deo and they are at walmart cheaper 😆

People hate on Aluminum in deodorant but there hasn't been any studies suggesting negative side-effects from just using deodorants with aluminum in them. What is more likely is that people who happen to have an aluminum allergy, experience irritation and assume its the same for everyone and that the ingredient itself is bad (of course it could also be caused by a different ingredient, you can't really know unless you get a allergy scratch test done to see what you are allergic to). How it works is that the aluminum settles into the pores which halts or slows sweat production in the area. The aluminum will be pushed out of your pores within a day or two. Sweat is only meant for regulating body temperature, if your pores are blocked in an area, your body won't bother sweating there much if at all because the aluminum wont allow it to pass anyway. The rest of your body can still sweat and so temperature regulation shouldn't be a problem, its just that most areas don't stink up and promote excessive bacteria growth while sweating as your armpits do. So what these really are, are antiperspirants as opposed to deodorants that only kill bacteria and replace the smell. Antiperspirant tackle the root cause which come from the pores themselves. A common mistake is layering. If you already used an antiperspirant, you should only use when needed (for me 48 hours seems to work) but its important to wash the area out with soap and water. If you apply it to your armpit again without washing, the formula isn't going to enter the pores as easily and could just sit on top of the skin which may also prevent the old aluminum from being pushed out. Which in and of itself can cause issues. If the antiperspirant says it lasts for 48 hours, believe it. But if there is a problem with smell the product may not be the best fit for you. People sometimes tend to use antiperspirants to tackle smell, and then run into problems when they layer it multiple times a day which can block pores for longer than intended, not to mention with too much of the formula. So then they don't use antiperspirants and blame the aluminum when it was improper use, and they stick with a deodorant that only tackles smell but doesn't prevent sweating and can lead to stains on their shirts. Using a deodorant over a dried antiperspirant can work to solve both problems of sweating and odor. Deodorant focuses on the bacteria on the surface. Some people can get away with one or the other, others could benefit from using both. But still remember not to layer antiperspirants.

Personally I have fresh falls and I absolutely love it I’m gonna get it again on my next order it smells like candy and it’s not to strong absolutely would recommend it and I get people have opinions just stating mine

When you buy a dr squatch product you can knock off like 25% because of online discount codes. If it weren’t for those I don’t think I would buy their stuff

The deodorant is not bad for me but I just wish the soap was better so I could buy all my stuff on their site.

This guy is so biased. Frsehfalls has a VERY good smell amd definitely one of the better scents. You dont know what you are talking about. They are natural NON-synthetic so you can't compare them to the chemical deodorants.
