Dr. Strangelove - The Doomsday Machine 

Brilliant movie. Peter Sellers was wonderful in three roles. I've watched it several times over the years. It's still relevant.

Mutually assured destruction or MAD , ironic don’t you think . If a film summed up everything that’s crazy about our world watch this , Kubrick was just brilliant and Sellars should have got an Oscar.

I've always wondered if George C. Scott's fall was intentional or not. Did he really trip and then just keep acting?

There was an excellent version of this comedy, but with all the jokes removed. JR Ewing could speak Russian, but that in itself was not a basis for comedy. I think it was called Safety Fail or some such similar title. It started with a dream about a bullfight, but even that wasn't funny. I probably prefer the funny one, although perhaps I prefer the serious one. It is a fraught issue.
