I would like to share our journey with our baby girl GoldieSun 12 yr old healthy Golden retriever, as soon as our veterinarian told us she might have lymphoma, we didn’t even wait to finish the more Detailed lab work and headed out from Florida, we rushed put all the family in a van and drove to Connecticut. Me my wife and family drove non stop through a hurricane through fog and multiple states of pouring down rain sometimes no visibility, I think we were on adrenaline we just kept on going to make there. We have now been here for a month still continuing the chemotherapy treatment which has been very difficult, very torturing, very emotional and not smooth at all, every day is a challenge . I don’t know if our baby is going to make it day by day. Living on prayers and hope. Dr Sue was nice to take us fast and start treatment right way. We hope will continue to afford her treatments since we had unexpected expenses to the ER between treatments. We don’t care we might end up sleeping in the van with the whole family as long as we save our baby girls life and have her with us cancer free and healthy. So far we are grateful to Dr Sue.

Sorry for being away so long, as we mentioned GoldieSun had a relapse, which was very odd especially when she was almost finishing her treatments, even our friends, family and primary Vets were surprised since she was responding so well to treatment so far and really don’t know what went wrong. We are sad, frustrated, we know, everyone goes through the hell we’re going through with their loved ones, but at least most cases not too many travel all the way across country to seek out the best care away from family friends and community, I guess at this point is it the best, really, the Best? Since the relapse she under went different chemo therapy treatment and of course she still has long way to go and we hope she makes it. As couple of our primary Vets suggested before heading to Connecticut, to put her on steroids which will give her six to eight months but we chose this route. Now that six months has passed we are expecting to witness Dr Sue’s experience and success to prolong our babies life, and hopefully she gives one on one attention to GoldieSun like she started, and prove that early discovery of the cancer and quick start to treatment at early stages, would really prolong and save their life and give us more years and GoldieSun’s story to be a success story to tell not a disappointment or failure. After all our anticipation was and still is high upon seeing GoldieSun back in remission and take her home with us cancer free, and Only come to see Dr Sue for her maintenance for many years to come. Please keep GoldieSun in your prayers and hope to get back to you with happy news. Thank you for all your support. May God bless you

Why can’t we use the Pet Tumor Tracker app in the US?! Our three dogs have had so many lumps mapped by our vet but we’re spending extra time, worry, and money bringing them in extra times because we can’t recall which lumps have been mapped and deemed skin tags or cysts, and which are new lumps needing to be checked out. There are so many we can’t keep track and we NEED this app!

Fenbendazole, kills the C (said to work for people). Research it. Drill deep. It has been hidden. Tell the Vets. I love dogs.

Update on GoldieSuns journey. Since our last share a lot has changed. Dr Sue was not around for a while but made sure that GoldieSun was getting her treatments on time. We had and still going through a lot of challenges, luckily a couple days ago Dr Sue was back and meant a lot to us, since came here for her, and gave GoldieSun her next treatment although she was supposed to get her last round of chemo of the first five, but we were disappointed that she had to go back first treatment of the first round instead of which was supposed to be the last of the first round. We’re going through a very sad situation I don’t know if she’s going to make it at this point. We hope we made the right choice brining her here in Norwalk, CT to save her life. Dr Sue showing a lot of compassion and making great efforts to save her. We are very confused that we heard lymphoma is the most treatable of the cancers “ since we caught in the early stages“. Now we don’t know if that is for fact. We no we’re not celebrities but Love our pets as people love their children. We are asking for a holiday miracle to be able to bring our baby home cancer free and healthy. God bless you all.

As promised to update you on our baby girl, hero, heroic baby that decided to leave us on July 2nd 2021. Sorry we couldn’t make it earlier we’re still mourning the loss of her baby. We thought we would be celebrating this Christmas with her watching her play with her toy for Christmas wagging her tail with her siblings. But we were deprived of that. Dr. Due assured us that her program had high results of at least 10 to 12 months remission, but missed diagnosing her, our baby did not even last six months before relapsing before the treatment was even finished. Towards the end of the treatment we felt she was like a lab rat being pumped with experimental expensive drugs that weren’t even working. We had to leave Connecticut with a sicker puppy then we came with, (what a wrong decision we made). And lost hope. We had to rush to the West Coast with hopes to save what was left from her life if there was anything left unfortunately was not. Please whoever wants to know more, continue to view VCA Yelp.

Dear readers, we finished first set of treatment, just before New Years, Dr Sue gave us encouraging news that’s GoldieSun is in remission although she has 3 months of treatments to go hopefully with no complications like in the first set of treatment. At this point we are grateful to Dr Sue and we don’t regret driving cross country to see her. We probably have to head back to Florida since my wife was not able to find work here in CT to be able to stay full time during the remaining of GoldieSun’s treatments, so we decided to make a trip every week to CT to continue her treatments with Dr Sue. We hope and pray GoldieSun will be cancer free and be with us for many holidays to come. Thank you. Keep GoldieSun in your prayers. Have safe New Year.

Dear readers, after GoldieSun’s treatment last week Dr Sue gave us encouraging news and hope, we feel she is genuinely involved with GoldieSun’s well being and trying her best to save her life. But that does not stop us as parents to feel sad and be highly emotional like we’re walking through a never ending tunnel. We wanted to wait till this week’s appointment which will include her bloodwork and overall checkup to make sure she is on the right track. We will keep you updated. Keep GoldieSun in your prayers and God bless you all.

dr sue... i have a mind blowing question.... my cousins dogs are clones.... they will be 9 yrs old... the original dog lived until 18yrs old.... there are 2 clones... so clone 1 was diagnosed with anal sac carcinoma in march.... they did surgery, 20 rounds of radiation and 5 chemo treatments which his last one is on oct5th...it did not matasisize anywhere...hes doing great.... now clone 2 was just diagnosed with the same diagnosis and has to go thru the same thing..... if the orignal never had cancer is it possible he had a gene for it? u can fb message me if possible or answer that on the zoom on sept 22

Hi Dr. Sue! I wanted to first off say- thank you for uploading so many informational videos about pet cancer! I would like to ask you a few questions if you ever have the time! I currently have a young male bengal who likely has IBD, but will be getting a biopsy and we will be checking for lymphoma just in case. I have watched the videos on lymphoma but still have a couple questions if I may! Thank you for all you do!
