Hi! I found you via tik tok and it's so cool to see someone from hawaii who is a doctor and encouraging everyone, including men, to get into skincare! My family is from hawaii so this is awesome to see. Thanks for your content! ❤️ I would love to see a "start here" beginner-type video if you're willing (I'm trying to get a hold of my acne and want to get finally serious about skincare) Thanks for your content!
I love this info. I wake up with smush face all of the time 😕 still too expensive for me between kids and mom guilt I can't do it. I know you know what i mean Dr. Sugai but hopefully there will be a company that offers affordable pillows that can also help prevent acne and smush face😁👍💛🌻
I hear you- these pillows carry a higher price tag for sure. I will be on the look out for accessible and quality products for my friends here. Thank you for watching. Appreciate you 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🤙🤙🤙
I tried this pillow for a month and I’m afraid it didn’t work for me. This pillow is very flat (even with the extra padding) and it just made my neck and shoulder muscles tenser than before. I also suffer from nose allergy. This pillow is too flat and doesn’t really prop up my neck. So I would wake up a few times at night because the sinuses run down the back of my throat. I wouldn’t recommend this pillow to anyone with sinus issues like me.
I just bought this pillow and it makes my neck hurt so bad too! It was so pricy!!! Did you return yours? I want to return it maybe exchange it for the other one.
Maybe couple regular pillows under it would help? I have not tried this pillow. SO tx got your imput. People are so scared to be radically honest anymore on these platforms.
The Omnia has three hollows so you can sleep on your back and both sides. The Aula only allows one position: lie on your back with the face looking straight to the ceiling. It was designed to "train" belly or side slipers because as soon as you move, it wakes you up😅. If you sleep exclusively on your back, Aula is enough. If you wanna roll to both sides, Omnia😉
Really still getting used to the Aura. I often turn in my sleep and usually I just turn and I’m on my side. Now with this pillow I need to find the cradle, otherwise im not comfy. I also need more shoulder support, so I will be getting a thin pillow for underneath this one so I have more shoulder support.
I’ve been trying to find help I use a satin sheet not polyester and I have allergy cover over pillow and allergen free pillow I can’t sleep on my back or sides due to health issues I keep waking up and having deep line on my left side forehead And huge bags I really don’t kno what to do I look up pillows and it’s all for back sleeping or doesn’t say if it’s allergen free
This pillow has really aged my face. After using it for almost 8 months, my cheeks are super low. This pillow also caused my jaws to clench at night in my sleep. Thus, I ended up with wider looking jaws and droopy cheeks. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PILLOW. Also, sleeping on the side with the pillow was the one of the most uncomfortable positions ever.
Wow, thank you for your comment and warning Maisha.. That is so unfortunate. I just tried the cheaper "YourFacePillow" Beauty pillow for 3 nights and a) my face looked puffier in the mornings, maybe because of what this Dr said about my face being too low b) my head actually ached the next day, which I had never had before and c) today I felt my jaws clenched in the morning, which I have NEVER done before. I wonder why? I thought it was a coincidence. Pillows are very personal choice, so I'm going to try other things to avoid side sleeping. Thank you for your comment. I am returning the cheaper version.
@@maisha303 What happened? Did you wind up sleeping on your sides? I'm a stomach sleeper. So sleeping on my back is the farthest thing from feeling natural. I'm trying to eliminate turning my head to the side while watching my phone with one eye open. I started when I was going through chemo a couple years ago. Now that I'm all better, it is still so much of a habit and super hard to break. Its causing deep forehead lines.
@@danielsugaimd thank you! I’m glad you’re enjoying yours as well! To anyone that is hesitant about the price they have a 30 return policy! Definitely worth the investment!
For anyone whose on a budget like myself, try cutting the filling of your pillow in the same hallows shown in these expensive pillows, then stitch it on the desired shape. Measure your face and where you normally sleep and try this if you have a spare pillow that you could live without if it does’t work. The prices of ready ones are way too ridiculous and unjustifiable. Let us know if this trick works!
Noooooo!!! I knew I couldn' t be the only one!!! 🖤 I' ve done it. We bought and shared a big cheap piece of a material called _idontremember_ (kinda luxury foam) and splited into four rectangles. Everybody made our customized one checking every half cm not to cut too much cause there' s no return once you become a pillow sculptor😝. Needless to say, same for the pillowcases. I' m not on a budget anymore but I was raised on serious poverty level. My brain will always think on a tight budget mode ON. And you know why? It' s way funnier to spend the evening with friends, foam, knives, wine and pizza than ordering online😉
@@amilaano1 Thanks☺️ So sorry for not remembering the technical name of the material 🤦🏻♀️ but it was not a memory one because I hate when it happens😅. If I have the bad habit of placing my neck or cheek on the wrong position while slipping, I don' t want the foam to keep the hole I created there. I want the foam to remain firm so everytime I come back it corrects me. 🧛🏻♀️🖤
I've been using the pillow for about a month and I love it except for one thing. The skin on the sides of my face has been breaking out in little bumps. Some grow into pimples. I never had acne in my life and now as a senior my face is a mess. It started very gradually after the first week. Every day since then it's gotten worse and worse. I do not know if it's from the pillow case or the pillow itself. I wash the pillow case in cold water and do not put in the drier. Do you have any suggestions for me?
@cleanfreaks (The Clean Club on youtube) has good videos about laundry care.. You may be using too much detergent and/or not rinsing it out well enough. If you're hand washing, you barely need a teaspoon of detergent for a water amount that you can comfortably wash a pillowcase in.. Also make sure that the water is not colder than it is suggested to be on the detergent instructions..
I just received this exact pillow and it doesn’t look like the one you are talking about. The sides are not full and high, quite flat. Not sure what to think of the pillow. I have used it for two sleeps so far. Anyone have the same experience receiving a different looking flatter pillow?
