Old points by western economists... if they're so right, why is inequality in the west still so high, why did the west de-industrialized, why did the US herd so much debt (so much about consumption...). The Chinese need to out smart these people, outsmart the Japanese. But i guess china needs to learn the technicalities of the financial market from people like Roach, in order to create its own functioning one.
China US Secretariat makes sense. Trade war will hurt, but not as much as Ukraine and Israel war, or US Foreign Policy of global Hegemony and forever war.
To promote globalization, China should relax regulation and/or restriction on foreign worker and visitor to China. In the age of AI, talents are essential. Don't just attract farmers to help urbanization, also welcome human capital from abroad
