I absolutely adore the role of Peter in the shoes of Doctor Who. He's my true Doctor. He's the Doctor I can relate to the most and the attitude is dark and dramatic. I know that's not the usual Doctor's personality, but I love it.
i went "awww!" out loud when he said his feelings get hurt easily :( i've seen the nasty shit that's been said about him over the years; how could anyone say that about such a sweet guy. he's wise to stay the hell away from the internet cesspits but i hope he knows that the adoration he gets is not just for his acting ability but for being a wonderful, kind person.
I'm that one person! I think you're spectacular! The emotions you bring to the 12th Doctor are raw and honest; anyone who's been in love, and endured heartbreak will know. Plus the show is damn funny as well!

Old video, but I'd like to note the thing that surprised me is how much his incarnation is grounded in Smith's. They might seem like night and day at first glance, but they're really just two sides of the same coin, and that made for a far smoother but thought-provoking transition in Series 8 than I expected. Capaldi's Doc is the soul-searching cranky introvert with a warm-hearted middle. I'll always remember his take on the character in exactly that manner. :-)
The older, silver-headed gentleman is Peter Capaldi, who plays the Doctor on Doctor Who, a British science-fiction television show, whilst the interviewer is a radio announcer, I believe.
