Here is a interesting fact that the media is not explaining to you. During that time, all five of those boys were being judged, harshly by the entire city not just by Trump, Trump was the most prominent voice to call for such an execution, but he wasn’t the only one.
The boys are all guilty. They weren't exonerated. Watch their confessions. Guilty as sin. There was no exoneration. It was a sentence vacation. Not the same and not a declaration of innocence like all of these harpies would have you believe.
I grew up when this happened, and we must be aware how any false accusation can harm someone and their families forever, because i remember people from his own community believed what the media was saying. And were blaming them for those false accusations, especially after Trump paid for that ad in the NYT, especially just because people with money were supposed to be believable ,and honest, and those with out were not. Good thing we know better now, and with the internet how it is today, let's just be careful .
Trump did that as a Democrat & no one, except Al Sharpton cared about these men. However, they did leave home to participate in the assault festivities. If they stayed home, they would have never got blamed for rape in the first place.

Are you aware of the fact that all of them were in police custody before Trisha Meiles body was even discovered due to other violent crimes they had committed? Amazing man, so inspirational and aspirational. Ability to forgive and moved forward after what he’s been through is beyond commendable. When he said “trump or insert person doesn’t care about me” but “Everyone has a cross to bear but I can’t carry yours” that really resonated with me.

The sad part is, people think of slavery as a black person history. It isn't. The Slave Trade was set up by people in Africa, and probably is still practiced today. The Hebrews were enslaved in Egypt for centuries. Even in the US, as bad as slavery was/is, the culture that had the highest requirements to gain statehood was Utah/Mormons. Even Today, the price for a blond haired, blue eyed teenager that has been human trafficked is far more than her black counter part. Civil Rights is not Black History, it is all of Human History.

When I first heard that Trump was running for president, I thought about this and knew that he should never be president. I was a kid at the time, but thought it was the worst thing that I have ever heard.
Has anyone in the comments section actually looked into this case. He was involved. There is evidence even the police involved in the case to do day still agree that these guys all did it. The amount of witnesses is more than most crimes.

I think we need to have more concrete evidence to go down that path.” And then Ken Buck (R-CO), “The time for impeachment is the time when there’s evidence linking President Biden, and I don’t think that evidence has been presented.” Tarlov continued, “These are not people who are Democrats, these are not members of the ‘lame stream media,’ or whatever you want to call it - those are Republican congresspeople.”
