​@DrZAmplification will it come in a head? I'd like a Carman Ghia but would perfer a 12" driver.

almost all of the current amps feature our new MK II style post-phase inverter master volume that allows for bedroom quiet overdrive. The carmen ghia, CURE, MAZ 18 MK II, and Z-PLUS are all great models to look into. They are also lower wattage, so less clean headroom, and will give you great low overdrive/edge of break up clean tones.

@DrZAmplification I'm on your website. The Carmen Ghia head I see only has volume and tone controls. Is there a different one, or is that the one :) MJ

@@The9thChord dealers are receiving an updated 3 knob version with master volume starting this month. So heads, 1x12 combos, etc. will have this feature going forward. Sweetwater will be among the first to receive them. Call your dealer to confirm.

​@DrZAmplification Spoke with 4 different Long&Mcquades in Ontario! No one knows when the new Ghias are on the way. There is one older model (2019) available. Is it worth it to get a local tech to do the post phase, or just wait for the new ones?My ONLY concern is If those russian EL84s died, what do I replace them with that retains the original sound of the Ghia. I'm ready! MJ

This amp sounds very big in the room, it is surprisingly big. The cabinet projects a wide and forward sound which is why it was not close micd'.

Agreed on the older 1x10, which is why we discontinued it after getting the ultra light 1x12 cabinets. It didn't save on weight with the new 1x12 being available, and didn't hold a candle to the sound either. This new Ghia 1x10 utilizes a new speaker, and new cabinet. It really sounds like a larger speaker, if you closed your eyes you would assume it was a 1x12 combo.
