Perfect bush pilot plane, with huge engine power, it can almost take off from standstill :-), I can do take off and landing with the Draco on my deck! Landing it against the wind, and with lot of practice, it may be possible to land it on a dime. Looks amazingly good, and I love the scale look, even a backlit instrument panel in the cockpit! The must-have factor is high with this one, it is irresistible for a scale model enthusiast. I hope it was not damaged in the landing. Thank you for a nice video as always, looking forward to your next video already. Cheers.

Just picked up my Draco today. After weeks of hunting down RC shops around the country everyone was out of stock. It looked like I'd have to wait weeks or even months. Not until I looked around my own area Atlanta GA and found it available actually several in stock. Can't wait to get this one in the air.

I'm glad you told us up front that it was a freebie from Horizon, that makes a big difference to how much credence we put into a review. Usually people who actually paid for their model tend to have less biased reviews because they are not trying to keep the manufacturer happy in order to get more freebies.

Hi RC Girl, I was wondering when you were able to get your hands on one of these Draco 2.0. I’m glad you did. You deserve to have this ultimate sport bush plane. Have fun flying this machine. Maybe one day I will get one. Right now I didn’t realize that it had a $500+ price tag. But it is all worth it to see how they have brought the scale details down to the T. The ultimate boxing of the kit attests to how critical it is to the quality of this aircraft to be protected upon shipping. You’re an inspiration to the RC world.

Lots of precise detail. Horizon definitely went above and beyond on this one. The scans they did definitely payed off. The only thing I can pick on is the King shocks. I haven't been real impressed with them. Even with thread locker, they still come apart.

Looks great, stopped flying planes years ago because of the lack of space and all the flying spots were for gliders only. Only a matter of time before the FAA makes you register these like drones.

5 bucks for a registered number for all my rc aircraft and if you fly at a ama sanctioned field you don't have to worrie about getting a transponder . But the transponder stuff is not going to happen for a couple year and they are a size of a quarter and can be transferred plane to plane. I guess there going to be 50 - 80 dollars.

There was one Draco, because it was a Polish PZL-2000 Wilga plane, bought for the USA and modified (with a powerful engine). But there are still a lot of original serial airplanes.

Hey!! I put mine together yesterday! Just letting you know those little black pieces are grab bars/handles they go between the wing and the windshield, there’s a little hole for them to go into :)

Just watched RC SAYLORS with theirs too. Didn't show the light up gages - that's pretty cool! For those that get this, the twist wing attachment is neat and seems like it would make it easier, from what I know. Being daylight, them 'head lights' showed up real good.

Horizon really hit it out of the park with Draco! What an amazing replica. The original Draco’s accident led me to Mike Patey’s RU-vid channel... been a big fan ever since. Hopefully someday we’ll get a model of Scrappy. ;-)

I just want to see the real Scrappy fly. We just had an airshow last weekend at Patey's home field here in Spanish Fork. He pulled all his toys out, but he didn't fly a single thing. Not even the R/C Draco he had sitting right there. So weak of him. I can't even call his "performance" weak...because there wasn't one...

Good instruction there at end abt assigning safe select to a switch. I am curious, Draco’s body and wing same foam as Turbo Timber Evo, with “adhesive panels” or is it made of different materials? Thank you

Not complaining at quality at all of the build because it looks AMAZING. That and I am very novice at RC Planes myself. But it would be cool for the amount if they put a real variable pitch prop on it. Not that it would make a different for me but experts can do some amazing tricks with them. The benefit of course is the prop stays turning the same direction. much like the real one. I doubt it hurts that electric motor but it seams it would be even better for a expert piolet. I do not own this plane and have only seen video most on mikes channel when it first came out. It really looks Amazing glad you love it. I am so ready for mike to start the new Draco build now that scrappy has been built. I watched all of Draco's build videos and am so sad the day it was lost. Mike was so pumped about this model. Glad he had let them model from it before it was lost.
