I just wish we could get actual transmog options for the dragon forms instead of just lame belts and shoulders which don't match anything.

Man they should at least fix their transmog in dragon form first. Its just goofy that you can't see half of the gear on them.

In regards to more race class combos, I feel like shamans should have already been available to all races by now. It makes sense with the primalists being so huge in this expansion. Maybe the only thing holding them back is having to create custom totems for each race?

I'd say if they don't get druids, that's a massive mistake, given the fact that they're innately connected to it via their green dragon powers.

We need those bigger beefier drakonids as the melee class...

Main thing I'd want is other visage forms next to the half-elf form we currently have. Like if you're playing an Alliance Drakthyr then you can choose to have your visage form be a Night Elf or Dwarf and vice versa with a Horde Drakthyr. Don't really need to add all those extra details and scales like the current form, it would be nice, but I take it that it would be just too much work.

If they would let us make a more beefy Dracthyr and not these skinny types.

I do actually think Dracthyr paladins are possible. At the end of Dragonflight, the Dracthyr talk with Emberthal; and the dude who sided with the Alliance specifically mentioned that “Turalyon seems to like disciplined soldiers” which makes me think that Turalyon would definitely train the Dracthyr to be paladins and priests of the light

Dracthyr Warrior Tank sounds like a great idea, because that would thematically line up with the Legion Artifact too. Imagine a dragon with the Scale of the Earth Warder.

VISAGE form in combat? YES PLEASE. We want it so bad for Evoker

We need more visage races, in my pov the visage form since it's just a customization not relevant to racials skills or anything, and since it's also like "magic" or something to pretend they have a form different from the original, we should be able to change the race of our visage form in the barber shop.

Would love for Demon Hunters to have a soar ability like Drakthyr do... they have wings too blizzard

now that they changed how soar works. they could totally give a similar thing to demon hunters outdoors

Dracthyr Rogues! I believe there are already some Dracthyr rogues in-game. I love the race, but I just couldn't get into playing Evokers. So I'm glad there are going to be more class options for them.

When I started playing, I wished I could pick a night elf paladin and not have to play solo in Stormwind. In the end, I deleted the character and created a night elf warrior to play with my friends. I still dream of one day being able to create one.

From a story perspective both Paladins and Druids would make sense. Paladins were alluded to twice, both directly by the Bronze dragonflight (it was mentioned Dracthyr Paladins exist in an alternate timeline and are, apparently, scary) and indirectly by the Dracthyr's new ties with Turalyon -- he mentioned liking "disciplined soldiers." Druids would be an automatic given, story-wise, because of their innate connection to the Emerald Dream and its Nature magic.

What I really want is non-Dracthyr evoker, or have it fully playable in visage form. Loved the class gameplay but can’t stand the lizard look and lack of transmog options

We just recently saved the Emerald Dream, we all _visited_ the Emerald Dream, and we we helped to plant a new World Tree. And he has trouble imagining goblin druid? The druids would be begging the player goblin or player dracthyr to join because of what we just did.

Druid would really fit with them, but that will take a long time because Blizzard doesn't like to put work into classes like druid so idk if it will ever happen. Every race should have been able to be every class a long time ago.

Personally I don’t mind that all Dracthyr have the same visage race, but after the personal tabard questline it kinda feels like we should have more options.

The speed at which I would install the game the moment I was able to roll a Paladin Dracthyr would probably break my neck.

Still need to just open up most transmog slots. Most of the slots should be able to work. Just hide cloak and allow only a couple of helms that work. Otherwise, the rest they've dealt with before (tails, clawed feet/hands)

I would love to see the Evoker class be able to be other races and not just Dracthyr.

I would love to see Dracthyr hunter, I believe that Dracthyr hunters should come with the ability to tame lesser dragonkin, just like how Undead can automatically tame undead animals and gnomes,mechagnomes,and goblins can automatically tame mechanical animals. I also am very happy to hear that Dracthyr will start as level 10. I for one hated that I was so overpowered because it made some of the questlines I like doing way too easy, and it was kind of boring.I also would love more transmogrification options like I feel sad that I can't make my dracthyr wear a flower crown or glasses. Those would look so good on the Dracthyr! Love that we got these news, I am super hyped for the War Within and all that will come along with it. Also I would like there to be other racial visage options because the dragons have been shown to be able to be other races for visage such as vulpera,or highmountain tauren. I would like that as an option for dracthyr as well.

I'm pretty confident that whenever new Dracthyr classes show up they'll just go with all the classes that are now available to all races (so Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Monk, Mage, Priest and Warlock). I imagine the Death Knight situation to play out similarly to Earthen, so they either make them available to both or neither. Then, as they "unlock" more classes for all races, I'm sure both Earthen and Dracthyr will also get them.

Dracthyr Warrior/Hunter/Rogue animations have been in the game since DF alpha/beta due to NPCs using them. (How NPCs can be these classes right when the Dragon Isles awoke is dumb). Shaman definitely makes sense due to the presence of the Primalists. They really should consider allowing us to choose a different race for our visage, there's literally a quest with Emberthal trying to decide what her form would be. Choice of visage would in a sense technically allow any race to be an Evoker.

Dracthyr is properly the biggest letdown of a race imo. 1. The Tmog in dragon from is not working like other races, you only see belt, helm and shoulders. 2. We wanted the BIG biffy dragons, not the skinny once :P

if anything i hope when we do get more classes we get to choose to fight in the humanoide form.. I hate how the dragon form has little to no armor

Extremely frustrating that they stopped unlocking classes to all races. Dragonflight was on a roll with mage/rogue/priest, monks, and warlocks.

They could start with a Alliance and Horde base Druid forms/pally mount etc etc like the sorta neutral looking moon kin they did and work their way back around to the separate race forms when time and money is better suited

I think lorewise dracthyr druid would make a lot of sense, since they already have the green dragonflight in their DNA, so it should be relatively easy for them to become druids. Only problem is the effort required to make new druid forms, compared to other classes

I've been waiting for this moment for over 20 years. I have dragon themed names on almost all my characters already. Pretty sure they will give them the standard class treatment at minimum though. Warrior, Hunter, Mage, Rogue, Priest, Warlock, Monk, DeathKnight.

I just want to be able to see my Evoker in their visage form on the login screen. I hate not being able to see their amazing look and transmog!

Bro could blizzard just give demon hunters their third spec yet? New race got a new spec and new classes in the following xpac, DH's have been completely forgotten about. Dual handed mini crossbow class WHEN BLIZ???

Like so many have commented here and elsewhere- players want: 1. More transmog to display on drakthyr form 2. Evokers being able to be any race for their visage form- or in other words, now that they've been out and seen the world, picking their "race" at character creation is just the form they choose. Of course we want all classes for all races, eventually.

I’ve been wanting to for a while now! Since at least soar turned dragon riding. It’s two of my favorite abilities, glide with soar and I’m so excited!

Playing in visage form would be cool . Do the same with Worgens

dracthyr druids maybe from the green dragons connection to the dream, dracthyr might be able to tap into that, especially as the dream ended off their expansion

Dracthyr Hunter with the ability to natively tame Dragonkin, just like several other races have their native specializations in taming.

All this means for me is that my now third MOP Remix character will be my next to last one to level. I was contemplating leveling up a rouge and possibly a Marksman Hunter. Now, I can wait and make them Dracthyr.

Drakthyr will likely get the base classes that everyone can be: Warrior, Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warlock. Maybe Monk.

With the green flight and druids being closely connected due to the dream i could imagone dracthyr being able to learn all the things druids can do. I would love some dragon druid forms. i will definitly remake my main characters as Dracthyrs if the classes get available.

Also i dont understand why dracthyr cant chose to fight in their human form too, and lose the flying and gliding perks while in human form. Druids can.

So the animators are working on giving Drakthyrs new class animations instead of making new animations for the hero talents. That's why warriors, rogues, monks and shamans have barely nothing new going on animation wise

I wish there would be an option we can see the helmet on the dracthyr form. I would love to wear my mage hat

I wonder how this will impact a few things like Wing Buffet, Tail Swipe, and Hover. Those seem far more like Racial abilities than exclusive to Evoker. Be weird that they wouldn't be able to do any of them simply because they became Evokers.

I wouldnt want to be a warrior if my weapons were being hidden by wings. Back items are bad enough already

If they can make dracthyr warriors then they can make dracthyr paladins. They don't need a unique mount for it. Just make them surge forward like the evoker ability where they hover over the ground. They could be their own divine steed/class mount.

New classes for dracthyr will been neat, im just having trouble getting into enjoying the evoker class

TWW beta patch added druid and DK animations to dracthyr, and a bunch else that were missing from the other classes animations that were allready in like shield guard/slam animations and off hand weapon animations

i have already reserved a name for my future Dracthyr shaman

leaving your form as drackthyr when you cast certain skills is the biggest reason I didn't like them as characters. And now with other classes that doesn't force you to transform when not wanted is a game changer. Defo gonna roll one of my characters as drackthyr now. Such a good decision!

I am swapping my priest to a dracthyr in a heartbeat. I love how their soar feels and I love their customization. I'm thankful they took out the barber cost because I'd be poor otherwise

I appreciate that dracthyr are slowly easing into two other classes first before making them all available right away. I can see what Ion means about how things would fit narratively and I respect the decision he and the rest of the team are making to make dracthyr feel like they are a full race with culture and variety instead of just a cool side feature. having a dracthyr warrior sounds really cool and I hope blizzard takes the time to make the race feel as in depth and full of lore as the main races. I dont want them to rush anything personally, Im willing to wait for a feature as long as it ends up being good overall with only a few bugs and not completely broken at release with no fixes.

I would love to be a dracthyr death knight. No longer just breath of sindragosa, but actually BE sindragosa!

My best guess is that it's going to start with one for each dragonflight and that it would break down as... Red - Shaman Green - Druid Blue - Mage Black - Warrior Bronze - This one's tricky. I would guess... rogue? Bronze does a lot of behind the scenes stuff.

I hope that fly abilities from evoker will join racial skills and be avalaible for others class :)

imagine we could be one of those cool big beefy guard dragons in valdrakken and you had a melee and tank spec for them, im kinda dissapointed the dragon class ended up being only casters on top of only being able to be the skinny not as cool looking ones
