Hi! I'm so glad this video is finally done, it's my longest video project yet and it was fun to just talk through my favourite show. I hope you enjoyed it too, even if the camera and lighting quality isn't great. I'm not a professional with fancy equipment but I didn't want that to stop me.
I'm so excited for Season Two!
I also wanted to add the actors names in here too, mainly because I forgot to say them as their characters popped up. So they are Eva Green, Reeve Carney, Timothy Dalton, Rory Kinnear, Billie Piper, Danny Sapani, Harry Treadaway, Josh Hartnett, Helen McCrory, Simon Russell Beale, Patti LuPone, and Wes Studi.

I love the video! Leaving a comment to support you and also the five of cups in tarot is loss/grief/tragedy, the moon would stand for the subconscious, the repressed, hidden trauma even, so it would make sense with the themes of Vanessa’s life! I love this show and it’s fun to hear everything that happened I never finished it haha❤

@@knight_manor yes!! This show is one of the things that got me interested in tarot haha!! I watched it way back in high school. I like your pace and style of recapping and I look forward to seeing more of your personality and personal opinions or criticisms on the episodes, i love when you casually dropped that it was obviously written by cis men because it really shows hahah, it’s the one thing that brings the show down in my opinion is when it’s unkind to its own characters, like we are looking at them in a zoo rather than living through them and sympathizing with them, kind of gaze-y I guess haha… i think that’s why some of the possession nonsense comes off as comical. I love so much of the aesthetics and themes of the show though and Eva Green is the eternal goth mommy of course, she makes the whole show work. I would love to hear some of your favorite lines of dialogue in the recaps too!! Anyway yeah can’t wait for season two video

@rosalindmorley That’s a perfect way to put it. It does feel like watching them and their pain, in a zoo, rather than connecting or humanizing them sometimes.

I did so enjoy all 3 seasons of Penny Dreadful and I hope you do too. I'd love to hear your thoughts on another Literature and weird combo by Seth Grahame-Smith: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which was also made into a movie. I enjoyed it as a weird horror comedy desperately hoping Ms Austen wasn't spinning in her grave, or even breaking out of it. 😊

I’ve seen all 3 seasons too, and I do like the ending (though I have my nitpicks lol.) i’ll try Pride and Prejudice and Zombies too! I’ve heard of it and always thought it was a fun idea!
