Thank you for making this and all in this series. I made a dress with a scoop neckline. In the pattern photo it did not look low-cut, and I saw this same pattern sewn up in a video. Then when I made it, the neckline was lower than the edge of my bra! So I have been searching and searching for how to draft a neckline, and this is it! Boat lines are very common these days and they’re always too wide on me so my bra straps show. The information in these videos will help a lot!!!

Such an amazing tutorial! Very well explained. I will be using this and following along, step by step. Thank you so much for providing this education!! I have made a woven top with button front and V-neck which never fit well. I like the style of the pattern and now feel that I can fix the problem with the gaping neck. Education is empowerment!! When drawing a line from the apex to the neckline, how do you determine where the line should intersect with the neckline?

It depends on the pattern you're making, including what size cup the pattern was drafted for, and the style of the garment. Always make a muslin, you will learn a lot about what fitting adjustments you need to make in the process.
