Ik you said it’s controversial, but putting incineroar in c tier, under decidueye no less, is CRIMINAL. Incin fills the role of being a ghost resist, intimidate Mon, setup sweeper, great pivot (uturn is a great option if they have a soundproof Mon or clear amulet for intimidate anyways), and a great member of a fwg core. It’s a knock off spammer, it can run choice items, and more. I think incineroar is at least a high b Mon.
I had a friend use Bruxish last year. He’s not a great player but HOLY CRAP did he make everyone respect Bruxish. Strong jaw psychic fangs crunch is super strong and flip turn. Super good choice band/scarf. Never underestimate it
25:45 Passimian has been in S/V since its release. I remember seeing Don Mefesto use it as Tera Captain in BBR and it actually did really well for him. Definitely a solid pokémon IMO!
Also Bruxish is the truth. Well... Kinda. I really don't think it deserves to be in D-tier. Flip Turn made Scarf/Band sets are a lot better, and it's a monster with tera (I OHKO'd a Gyarados with Psyfangs Tera Psychic Bruxish). Super fun if you ever get the chance to use it in lower tier tera format.
Magearna only on Tuesday with no fluer cannon, no flash cannon, no calm mind, no teleport, no volt switch, has to hold a pokeball, and has to be nicknamed after the owners pet cat is totally fair and balanced! What are you talking about?
Tsareena would really love even a fifth moveslot. If there was an item that just allowed it to have a fifth move, it would basically always take it. Synthesis, U-Turn, Rapid Spin, Tropkick, Power Whip, Zen-Headbutt, Triple Axel, Knock off and High Jump Kick, Play Rough, even Taunt; you really have a lot to pick from.
Bruxish feels like the better Veluza; same typing, similar strength, but Bruxish has an actually usable speed stat (honestly, what the hell were they thinking with 70 speed on Veluza?), while Veluza gets a small amount of bulk (and a tiny bit of special attack), which you really don't get to use, and a setup move that cuts into your bulk.
Bulu is such a tragic case. Why do they gotta shit on the grass type legendaries so often (looking at you, Wo-Chien, Celebi, Shaymin (regular), Virizion, normal Calyrex, Zarude)? Those 4 times weaknesses, especially to U-Turn are cutting into their bulk so bad... The only exceptions are Shaymin-Sky (which is usually banned) and the new monster, Ogerpon, which is finally an offensive grass type, with almost all the moves it could ever want.
Guzzlord kinda has the Wailord-syndrome, where it has no focus on either defense, and so the HP just... dissolves into merely average bulk. Honestly, how much better would it be, if they had like 25 in one defensive stat and the rest in the other one? Like that would be ~60 for Wailord and ~80 for Guzzlord!
With 80 special defense, 31 IVs and full spdef investment, neutral nature, this guzzlord would take only at maximum 88.5% from an invested four times effective stab moonblast of a Shiinotic, barely even live if Shiinotic even ran a special attack boosting nature, and take under 70% from a non invested Shiinotic. If you go all in on spdef, with a boosting nature and assault vest, it doesn't even get 2-hit KOed by a non invested Shiinotic - in fact it needs a boosting nature to ensure a 2 Hit KO, max investment alone is not enough.
Lol The mon that is affected by the difference of singles vs Doubles format is incineroar. Singles it is ok maybe C tier, Doubles it is on almost every team class S tier.
Ima be a pex hater until the day i die. Ida put it in B tier. It is so passive, and sub fodder. Most ppl share the S opinion but man do i disagree with it. Also think Prim is S tier for its points value. Stack would be fun with tera. I picked it up late one season for counterplay against the playoff contenders. Worked out well, used in it the championship. Has a unique niche of setting up trick room for itself.
