Prisuta's got the right idea.... Come on guys, future draft picks? Everything about what they've done so far in the off-season says they are in a win-now mode! Heyward may be playing his last year, TJ and Minkah are not getting any younger. Take some of next year's draft capital, this draft is deep in offensive tackles and wide receivers, get them now while they're available!

Do you really think the Steelers are winning anything now? I feel like we're an offseason away from being able to make any noise, with holes at CB, T, C, and even DE/LB. You can't rely on rookies for all of those, let alone non-day-one rookies. Trading back makes a ton of sense in this scenario.

Love the idea of the war room and hearing your thoughts. Not too many disagreements. So many moving parts evaluating needs v. player. Even though tackle and center seem to be the biggest need, I think DeJean is the best value for a need. Have the concerns about Johnson been resolved? Also I’ve heard mention that Latham is not a good scheme fit for the Steelers offense.

I would have used the 84th pick to move up ahead of Cincinnati to make sure I got either Fuaga or Latham. Pearsal is good in the second round and Elijah Jones I would have taken at 66. I hope they trade a 2025 pick during or after the draft for a quality center.

Hopefully the scenario is trading back for a Center in the first or trading up for a center in the second. I dont see how the Steelers pass up a Tackle or Brian Thomas, perhaps one of the CB's Mitchell, Wiggins, or Arnold. It feels like we will have a very good value pick at 20 this year thanks to all the qb's.

Getting Scooby at 66 is a steal, but I don't love the top two picks. Powers-Johnson is likely not a 1st-round value, and the organization's posture at center seems closer to "eh, we'll figure it out" than to the borderline panic a lot of fans are in about it. Pearsall seems like a middling system product.

What I can’t stand, that’s happens year after year, is when people mock positions we don’t necessarily need over GAPING holes while there are GREAT players available that would fill those holes (pause). A D-lineman over Khyree Jackson? Are we just going to continue being a team who NEVER has a solid secondary year after year? We need a CB2 and slot CB (Donte Jackson isn’t the answer). They do this every year with d-line and edge despite Pittsburgh having a great d-line every year while neglecting actual holes where we have NO ONE and then yearrrr after yearrrr we struggle in the areas we neglect in the draft.

So the plan is to take a project O lineman 20th overall that will have little or no substantial impact this year. Field a team with said lineman along with a secondary that consistently gives up big plays against even average QBs, a Dline that is mostly below average against the run and an average to below average Wr room ? Sounds like another back into the playoffs and get undressed season to me. That train has not been late for years.
