Typically the heavier the load the lower tune you want to run. More power equals more heat. Combine a hot tune with heavy load and the heat spikes hard.

That's cool. Last time I saw that truck was in 2022 at the Good Guys car show in Raleigh. Lot of history with that truck. I remember it being the 1st Trailblazer I'd ever seen do a wheelie.

It should tie with that turbo no problem. I would tow on tune one or a specific tow tune, but that turbo should tow without EGT issues. 👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸

Put a water meth kit on it it will keep the egt’s down. But good tunes should help it. Shouldn’t really have super high egt’s cruising at highway speeds unless you are hanging in the throttle a ton. But you could go with twins and it would love life and be a tow monster and lower your egt’s that way

Either your egt probe is drilled in the wrong location or your tune is just shit. I have an 06 around 600hp tows 10k lbs 70 mph around 700 degrees egt.
