Okay but I would totally buy the “Sometimes Men wear Wigs” for my niece and nephew cuz after hearing one of them say “Mr. Potatohead can’t wear lipstick, he’s a boy!” I sat them down and showed them pictures of drag queens. Can I say that this movie was actually a dream of mine, as a gay guy whose parents do not accept him for what he is. I really wished I had the support the character has from his family. 14:59 Actually, ladies, this was my family. True story. My uncle (bi? closeted? Uber religious so we’ll never know) was a successful musical theater performer worldwide, and he regularly had family members learn song-and-dance routines for Christmas, New Years, we did Fourth of July once, literally any holiday or event. He’d make new lyrics to suit the event, and most spectators thought it was hilarious and special (yea most spectators were rich white boomers but *shrug). My whole family is musical, and as kids we had no choice-but as adults, we find it a charming holiday tradition. After my grandmother (his mother) passed away, we felt so grateful to have the home videos of the skits and songs we did with her at Christmas. The end

They literally show things that Trixie would love when she's not there and then she comes back and they punish her like this My heart goes out to the production guy who thought "they'll like this" and everyone involved in the making of the film who has watched this. Truly savage, unhinged and chaotic. I adored this.
