Drag Race CanAm Renegade 800R VS CanAm Renegade 1000R (SHOCKING RESULTS)

The race was finished with a result of 2:1 in favor of Can-Am Renegade 1000 because I had a late start on the second run (my bad).
A summary is that there is no big difference when it comes to the drag race between these two ATVs (on short track).
It's obvious that the Renegade 1000R is a more powerful and newer ATV but this video proves that CanAm (BRP) was producing excellent ATVs from the start.

Dalton clutch are an amazing set up for 300 foot dirt drags. You won't be disappointed if you run them

There is a big difference between them i had both. Maybe your 1000r is not tuned good with that exhaust, which makes it bad

Yes, I agree with you that there is a big difference between these two. But in this video, the soil we had a "race" has a big role. If we did this race on the asphalt where both ATVs had the same grip 1000R would be a lot ahead :)

@ATVmladen Good point. Did you tune your 1000r after the exhaust installed, and I recommend you to install the cvtech primary clutch and aim for 7500 to 7800 shiftout. Thank me later.

I will not go for CVtech primary clutch. I am good with the stock clutches right now. In future I will install EPI racing kit and HMF optimizer :) I am now pulling between 7200 and 7500 rpm (in hard uphill) which I think is good for now :)

I rode a 800... I won't buy anny thing less than a 1000. Close race but the 1000 has more low end grunt

The 800 is a serious machine, there's no question about it, but if the race was on concrete where both quads would have the same grip, the difference in power between these two models would be even more apparent so I must agree with you :)

Pozdrav, svidaju mi se Renegadi. Kakav je ovaj od 1000 cc u krivinima i na pravcu pri velikim brzinama sto se tice stabilnosti?

Cao, vidi kvadovi jednostavno nisu namenjeni za to sto si opisao tako da mogu reci da nisu bas stabilni ALI opet uzimajuci u obzir da nisu za to namenjeni i za dobrim podesavanjem amortizera guma i svega moze jako lepo da se vozi i na taj nacin.

800 je ozbiljna masina tu nema govora ali da je trka bila na betonu gde bi oba kvada imali jednak "grip" tu bi se jos vise pokazala razlika u snazi izmedju ova dva modela :)
