- How do we know S13 is filming now?
We’ve had confirmation from several reliable sources, as well as numerous sources. And give or take a dozen drag queens don’t usually go missing without reason
- How come they’re allowed to film now?
Though restrictions are tightening again in California, filming is still technically allowed if all other measures are in place. The queens were quarantined for a week prior to the start of filming, so now they act as one big ‘household’. And presumably there either won’t be guest judges or they will be socially distanced the entire time on set.

- Lady Red Couture (West Hollywood, CA): Sadly she passed away 7/25/2020 due to a health issue. Reast in Peace.
- Aggy Dune (Rochester, NY): Showed activity on Pokémon Go and on Facebook commented on July 15, 2020.
- Judas Joe Manson (Los Angeles, CA): Was active on their RU-vid channel on June 20, 2020. Numerous reliable T spillers say that they are not on.

I'm friends with most of these queens on Facebook. Lady Red Couture is a trans woman and has still been posting. Aggy Dune is pretty unlikely because she has talked about hating Ru a lot. Dia Elektra has several drag shows coming up that haven't been cancelled so it is unlikely she is in filming. I'm not sharing that these queens aren't on 100%, and they still could be on, but these are my rumors

neko kawaii the queens are always isolated from the outside world while filming. And they’ll quarantine them for two weeks before filming starts. There’s literally no reason to stop when they can go on following safe measures.

I am very surprised that they've decided to start filming. There was approximately 3000 new cases reported in LA today. It has far from stabilized. That puts the girls in a very risky environment. They're isolated at the hotel and in the studio yet staff and guest hosts will be coming and going freely. It would be impossible to practice any safety protocols at all. I want to see all stars 13 as much as the next fan but I feel much better in knowing that the girls are safe at the same time.

That’s neither the responsibility nor the fault of the quality of NYC queens. They’ve only won 4 of the 12 traditional seasons, and none of the All Stars (except Monet, which was a cop out to quiet the racism accusations). If the other queens want more shine, then they need to apply. California, Chicago, Florida, Atlanta, Seattle get a lot of love. Hell, Jaida hails from Milwaukee! It probably also helps, that NYC COVID numbers in the past few months, have been significantly lower, and under control, unlike much of the South or SoCal.

Respect our queens and consider reformatting your videos in a new way to protect them. “This time of year would usually be due for speculation on disappearances and Nancy Drew threads and the coming season, however this year is a little different: The S13 cast have got their calls and should be disappearing now, but we’re aware that this season has been much more cutthroat in dropping girls if speculation arises around them, so we want to minimise this as much as possible. At the end of the day it’s fun and all to Nancy Drew but the second we’re affecting the queens’ livelihoods and positions on the show, it’s too far. Due to the situation with LA filming and Covid, as well as assumedly the more severe casting following the Shitty Pie situation, it’s very likely now that our public speculation around S13 queens may cause them to be cut from the show. Come a time when we are confident the cast cannot be changed there will still be a disappearance and speculation thread, but now is not the time and we really hope you can respect that, as you’re putting the cast’s positions on the line if you don’t follow along. That includes any comments on speculation and dear diary and any threads that pop up slyly noting what queens have dropped off social media, simply report these if you see them to make the mod's jobs easier and get them removed quicker too”

@oh, the fracking? Peppermint was runner up. Hopefully that means something? The fact that Lady Red and Mik are heavily rumored to be cast is definitely a step in the right direction. Mik is very much male presenting out of drag and Lady Red is very female presenting out of drag so there’s no “mistake” or “not knowing their trans identity” when casting them. So definitely big step. Trans Men and Trans Women are very important to our community and Drag. Having another trans woman of color on the show is also amazing. Can’t wait for all the queens this season

Lucas Oliver no, it’s going to be a normal season! The queens and crew were quarantined some weeks prior starting filming so the new they didn’t have the virus. I like to think that they also tested them!
