its cause of covid restrictions thats why no other scottish queens were chosen and decided to keep everything down south (i have a friend who auditioned and was declined lol)

It's likely a lot of them aren't from London but work there. Similar to Bimini (Norwhich), Tayce (Cardiff) and Tia (Birmingham).

8 out of the 12 are London Queens, 2 queens that aren’t English, 2 queens of colour in the entire cast. We know the people who auditioned are more diverse than this...

The non-white population is around 4% in England, 2 out of 12 Queens makes that 16.6% or so representation, so how can you sit there without being disingenuous and say it's not representation? Could there be more? sure. Would it be more fun with more diverse backgrounds, yes. But that doesn't mean that 2 out of 12 isn't representation just because you don't understand how percentages work.

joe smith The latest bipoc population numbers in the uk are 12.9% (which is from 10 years ago, so it's likely to be higher now) Sorry sis, but using statistics to try and justify whitewashing is as institutional as racism gets, even more so when you're using false stats.

@@joesmith5095 your statistics make no sense are you even English/British? however, go to London, Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester you will find so many Indian, black and mixed race drag queens out there. Two drag queens out of 12 is not diversity!

@@kiwithesloth I doubt she ever will. She's good on her own and with Drag Race comes always the risk of not doing as well as expected or the production messing things up - though the UK season seems less produced (ironically thats what the fans want haha) :D

Bailey is definitely a startlet on the rise. She has such comedic timing and she pads for the GODS.. but I think she needs to sharpen her looks for the MainStage a bit more. She has SO MUCH potential ughh

I've followed Charity Kase for quite a long time and their artistry is exceptional. Sadly, I fear the Drag Race format won't adapt to their talents in the way Dragula or a similar show would. Ella Vaday is very polished and could go far. As for my local queen, Choriza May, she won Drag Idol and that's a harsh competition which requires a lot of live performances that go beyond lipsyncing so she could be a real threat to the others. I'm just worried about the alleged way the season was filmed as it could prevent the contestants from entering the right head space to excel.

I know most of these queens are from “London” but tbh most of them are really young and only moved to London recently because of the big drag scene there so i really don’t understand all the buzz about them being from london when they’re kinda really not💀

Praying to god veronica doesn’t show up with a big head after the success of season 2 she’ll come off as stand off-ish. When in fact she does have what it takes to win the season i mean the fact that she only learned how to sew only for the show makes me feel like she’s gonna try to learn even more now that she knows how the show is filmed and how challenges work.

I feel like she might come off as Eureka (being in the bottom 2nd episode on S10) might still be a little bit insecure after she had to quit S2 and the whole pandemic. But I have strong beliefs in her slaying the competition
