@@CBMedia404i think one of the 360 Chrysler V8 Air Raid sirens mounted in the back of a van... might be something Thailand would appreciate, and hold in awe... lol.
@CarsCatAliens I was the same in France. Then the greenwashers decided that diesel was too dirty and they changed the tax rate to make it as expensive as regular. Now they are trying to ban it entirely. They killed the French car industry to leave the doors opened to the Chinese EV. Great move, isn't it?
Unlike most countries, Thai medical system heavily relies on private ambulances operated by foundations. The hospitals have them, but there are too few of them. These ambulances are not specific to transpoting people to hospitals, and can respond to various situations quickly.
It may seem inappropriate to some people. Believe me, these people have basic knowledge about life saving, such as performing heart pumps, suturing fresh wounds, stopping bleeding, and managing bones. and many more These people may save your life or your family's life in the future. I admire them.👍👏
I am Thai if you live in Thailand You can meet Rescue Foundation like this all the time, no matter how close you are to death, they will come to you in just a few minutes, They born to racing.
In Thailand, ambulances mainly have two parts: the government and volunteer foundations. The latter gets a share if they can reach the accident and take them to the hospital first. That is the reason why it must be modified.
I am sure you will still love it. As long as you don't use the service it.😅 You imagine an ambulance taking you to the hospital at breakneck speed like in the movie The Fast. I bet you'll see Paul Walker Sitting and smiling next to your bed. 😁🤣
There are 3 kind of ambulance and truck in Thailand. ALS (Advance life support) owned by Hospital or Goverment, BLS (Basic Life Support) and FR (First responder) owned by Goverment or private own
This has long tradition way back to 1980 when there were no EMS certification of anything. 2 rival volunteer groups drive quickest to emergency scene after hearing accident report over police radio frequency to beat another group. Rule was simply who get to the scene first is allowed to transport. Now we have emergency certifications from volunteers to emergency physicians to vehicles and trainings. Yet we still rely on these volunteers because their spirits and dedications are so high !!!
Yup...love these people. Can't wait for my reTHAIrment relocation plan is complete next year. Chad...keep bringing us the best content. No one can compare to CBMedia...you do it best. 🤘😘🌬🌬➡️🇹🇭
This culture of racing stems from having to respond to the scene of accidents or emergency first! That’s how they get paid. I used to be best friends with a dude and his dad was “Po Tek Tunk” aka dead body recovery services. They would race and sometimes fight if they get there same time with competitors.
will you be covering the biggest classic car event in Thailand with over 300 vintage and clasic cars, Amata Springs classic d elagance, Amata spring county club December 9, 2023,
Your videos are the main reason I want to travel to Thailand some day. Where can I find info of these kind of meets? And the other actual meets as well?
The average private ambulance ride in Thailand costs $60 and it might be in a sweet tricked out ambulance, in America it’s like $1000, how does it feel getting scammed even by the people trying to save your life?
yo chad, there's a big car meet event in phnom penh, cambodia this december 8th, 9th, 10th. which is hosted by brother Siam from Siam Prototype. Are you coming? If so, i hope to meet you there, been watching your vids since THE SITUATION! big fan from cambodia!
I know what Chad said about the ambulances at the drag racing event was a joke, but man they do have spare vehicles that are not customized for drag racing.
For sure they didn't only have this kind of heavy modded cars. But all of this is real deal rescue car with real operator and used daily. We are mainly relying on this when it comes to rescuing service.
Not only ambulances my sister inlaw drives a school bus that actually one of them heavily modified toyota vans 🤣🤣🤣 each time we go see her in phea i take it out for a rip lol
They really racing for a life. Whoever reach the accident scene first, pick up the injured people, get money from insurance as a cost for sending injured people to hospital.
So on the day you was there no one was going to hospital because everyone is drag racing 😅... yep you just said this as I finished writing this comment
